so a poas party on Wednesday and Friday so far, going to be an interesting week

Ok. I have had dull ache in uterus for two days. Af not due till Thurs. lots of wind (sorry), and yesterday felt sick every few hours, only cured by eating a little regularly. After days of nothing, symptom spotting officially in full swing here.

I'm in for Wed, unless af arrives. Not sure I'll last till Fri!

mum I never test before AF but will start this month. I will let my golden waters flow across the stick of doom on Wednesday

Well AF normally arrives roughly on time for me but if I'm thinking of testing early ill go by my temps because if they plummet then I don't want to waste my precious frers! Wednesday is 11dpo for me and I normally have a 11 or 12 lp so it's quite near

I'll be testing late on Friday when DH gets home. Still a lot of days between now and then, but I'm trying not to be anxious or nervous. Am currently 1 day late.

Here's my prediction for Wednesday: I'll be all nervous and excited about actually testing; I'll sleep badly; I'll wake and temp; temp will have dropped but I'll think 'such a broken night's sleep, that might be inaccurate'; I'll get up to finally poas; AF will have arrived; I'll have fucking missed my chance yet again.

The only variation to this could be that it happens on Tuesday instead.

Morning all. So after last night's weirdness I stupidly poas this morning. Bfn of course. I am trying to convince myself that it was just too early, but have a bad feeling I am out this month. I suspect af is going to show up early.

I have an OPK issue, last two months I've had a feint line, a strong line then another feint line on consecutive days.

This month, very feint line, feint line, strong line, equally strong line on consecutive days (final one involved doing a urine sample in a gay bar!) I'll see what today's OPK brings, if it's not feint I'll post for Purdey to give her opinion if that's ok?

Have DTD both strong line days, and planning another 'go' later for good luck :)

Not feeling very hopefully that it worked this time. I know it's my first cycle but I just have that feeling I might be looking to the Feb bus. (Feeling meh)

Sorry, I can't tell my family and friends as that would be weird but just thought I'd share with you guys!

We dtd Thurs and Sat morn. Was going to stick to eod but think we'll dtd again tonight as it'd be a long gap from sat morn to mon night, especially when ov day is in the middle.

What do you guys think?

Purdey, my love, from those latest temps I would not say you are doomed. The temps aren't anywhere near touching the cover line and so there is no indication that progesterone has plummeted (so no imminent AF). However, the last two temps are open circles. What happened?

Can't remember who questioned the validity of temps taken a couple of hours later than normal (on the weekend, for example). I found this explanation largely unhelpful but you may benefit: 'Basal Body Temperature variation with time is dependent on your own unique metabolism. While most women see a difference, some women do not see much difference of the BBT with time and can live with a variation in time without masking their pattern. For many others even a 10-20 minute difference will have strong effects on their charts. Similarly, some women see an increase of their BBT with time while others may actually see a decrease. From the diversity of the charts that we have seen, it is quite clear that no simple generic formulas will be able to compensate for time differences.

Our advice is to use an alarm clock if necessary to try to keep the time as constant as possible. If you have an occasional waking time difference, just record the time but leave the data as measured and make a note if there are unusual circumstances. In most cases Fertility Friend should be able to see your ovulation pattern even with a few inaccurate data points.'

MaMa, I laughed at your prediction for Wednesday What dpo are you today? Linguaphile is spot-on regarding implantation blood; it is brown due to the age of the womb lining that's been building up for ten days or more.

I'd just like to make clear that I am aware of coming across as a know-it-all or that I'm monopolising the thread with my posts containing stuff I deem helpful. I really don't want to put myself above anybody or pretend I'm the oracle of fertility. Forgive me if I have come across that way. I would hope someone would let me know if I'm getting on folks' nerves xx

perdey; I think I can say on behalf of the buses that having that much knowledge has been very welcoming and we all very much appreciate you passing it on and looking at charts and being honest and making us laugh all at the same time!!!

lingua I also cracked and Poas at 7dpo. Luckily I have a big baby of ebay cheapies -at least not a huge waste of money- however stupid!!! I will try and refrain till at least the weds pee party!

Would it be okay to join this Thread?! It's my first month TTC. Now at 7dpo (implantation bleed, lots of saliva and cramps) so trying to think positive! Congratulations to everyone on their BFPs! I'll test on Friday to, it'll be 3 days before AF due so worth a shot!!!! Good luck everyone!
