It's that time again ladies to jump on the next thread because we do like to chat alot!

Bean and spinning girl. I'm 8 dpi also. First month and made rookie mistake of poas last night, total waste of time and stick. Short cycle, so af due 22/23.

Huge congratulations to all bfps!

Babs, welcome! We're about the same, I'm also 8dpo and my cycle is usually 23/24 days. I won't test until at least Tuesday but more likely AF will arrive before I can.

Also, epic baby bombing this week. Babies born this week and last, I visited a newborn in hospital yesterday (both husband and I agreed we were both very 'wanty'), then spent the afternoon discussing baby names with a friend who is 20 weeks, then got a call from another friend with updates about her pregnancy. So happy for them all but I'd love to join in!

umm, I am on cd 38, my cycles are normally 35 days, so I am just getting wound up now that it's bfn's all the way and no af as of yet. I suppose I am just getting my knockers in a twist really and should just chill out. Sorry to read you've got a never ending cycle at the moment Blimeygirl.

Terry, congratulations on your pregnancy and I hope your scan is a joy. How long were you TTC? I am also very interested to know which ovary released the golden egg so please would you come and report back?

well 8dpo, temp up and highest it's been this cycle so fx it stays that way

When do you generally test purdey? AF due on thurs/Fri for me so might do the first one on Tuesday or Wednesday and I have a medical on Wednesday anyway so if they ask I can say yay or nay!!

Been TTC this month had my last AF 26 December. However due to a serious kidney infection last week DTD stopped :(. I think I ovulated last tuesday as had the cramps and the lovely white discharge sorry for tmi there. My only hope is if that the LS hung around for a few days.

Feel very very sick this morning :( still on antibiotics.

Well fairly sure I ovd yesterday but ff is yet to confirm and I haven't seen a temp rise yet. Boobs are sore though which is normal for me after ov.
Dtd every other day since af left and will continue (if dh is willing) for this week. Xx

Shnicky - sympathise about the cat sick - ours puked on our bed the other day! Thankfully I smelt it before I got in! Xx

shnicky I normally have a 37 day cycle, on day 38 and negative tests. It's so frustrating - made worse by long cycles!

I may also poas weds, after all the bfns from previous cycles, I just cannot imagine getting a bfp! Temp also still up today. Does anyone elsw take temps at different Times just out of curiosity? ?

I only record the first temp taken at 6.20am (precise!)which usually read around 36.55, But on weekends ill go back to sleep for a couple of hours and temp has shot up to 36.75. Im always wondering if ive got a duff thermometer as I think that's quite a difference

purdey this was our 5th month TTC since the ectopic, with my previous 4 pregnancies though (2DC, 1MC, 1EP) I had conceived first time of trying so the ectopic made a big difference.

blue I had a little cry to DH because I was convinced AF was on her way 2 days before my bfp!

bean, I woke a couple of hours earlier than usual the other day, took my temp, had a wee, back to sleep then woke and took my temp again and it was quite a bit higher so I don't think there is anything wrong with your thermometer, your temps just generally get higher as time goes!!
I wasn't sure which one to use either so I put down an average lol x

Hi purdey. I haven't had any checks yet. My back story is I had a cp in 2013. Before this i had a 28 day cycle and honestly could time it to the hour. After the cp I have been all over. We tried briefly at the beginning of last year to ttc but because of unforeseen circumstances we had to put it off and this is our first month trying again. I was going to give it a few mth of just dtd (a lot) and if this doesn't work maybe look to start to temp. We dtd this month cd8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 15, 16. So it was a lot however if I'm on a long cycle i may not have ovulated till a long time after that.

Don't want to get too obsessive about it all yet although I know I will. I have 2dc and I had no problem with them. I do have a feeling things aren't gonna be as easy this time round though with the huge change in cycle.

My stats are 34 ttc#3 first month trying again
