I think the software changed my coverline today. It was higher yesterday but today my temp for yesterday has been ruled out. Obviously a blip!

Have a good weekend everyone.

Go Coggy (& Mr Coggy!) My chart (which you'll see updated tomorrow) is all over the place, CD10 and no coverline yet. Temps seem generally higher this cycle by about .2c which puts me more the in the normal bracket pre ov so I guess that's good.

I am reading a book at the moment called "The Fertility Cure" by Randine Lewis. It is all about Chinese Medicine mixed with Western Medicine with fertility as the aim. It is really interesting but is freaking me out at the moment as I read this morning that if you OV past CD17 the quality of the egg is reduced - something else to worry about now in addition to the LP! Don't worry, I'm not getting too hung up but am just impatient to finish the book as it gives reasons why your chart might not look like the perfect chart and how to fix it - I'll keep you posted!

DH is back tonight after 3 nights away on a stag - so I'm off to make him a wholesome stew to give him energy for this week (being THE WEEK this cycle!)smile]

stretchmarks · 15/10/2006 15:49

Hi everyone,

Hope you are all having a good weekend. I'm just about to start the dreaded housework - so that everything's clean and tidy and I can enjoy prime suspect slobbing on the sofa in my PJ's later maybe with a nice glass of wine in hand and chocolate would be lovely but I have had far too many goodies to eat this weekend.

My temp was up this morning which means I may have ov'd and my cycles may have gone back to 35 days which I used to be a year or so ago. I was 35 days when I conceived DS 3 yrs ago, so wouldn't worry too much about the quality of the egg after CD17 !!!!

coggy · 15/10/2006 16:19

Stew sounds like a good plan!!

I was amazed when they released my eggs on CD12 as I normally go naturally to CD18......I didn't think they'd be big enough but I think they can get too big and not as good.

Definitely worth baring in mind but not worth worrying about tho' as Stretchmarks can prove!!

Natty1806 · 15/10/2006 17:11

Book sounds interested, keep us posted.

Just going to go and have a look at all you charts now, where is yours stretch?

stretchmarks · 15/10/2006 20:16

Have updated it now Natty was offline this morning

3catstoo · 15/10/2006 20:50

Hi Ladies.

My coverline has changed again !!

Managed to tempt DH last night. May be too early though as Ov predicted for Tuesday. DH is now on his way to a course for the week.
He seemed quite relaxed about having another. When I asked him he said that although he doesn't want another he knows I won't give in, so what can he do. Well said! I do feel like a bully though .

Off to do the school uniform ironing now and watch some tv.

Hope you are all well.
It seems like a few of us are approaching Ov at the same time. Fingers crossed we get some luck.

xxxxx

Babymad4num3 · 15/10/2006 23:54

I've just had a hard look at my chart been trying to stay pos but I think I oved while still on AF , my chart just looks the same as my other one with the paten of oved and temps stay even, let see what the next few day of temps show you never know!

coggy · 16/10/2006 07:27

Babymad.....is your software adjusting your temps if you take them at slightly different times?
It's quite unusual to OV in AF (although not impossible).

I had another rare chilly start to the day!!!!
No socks MrsMc...but my feet felt hot!!!

MrsMcJnr · 16/10/2006 09:45

Morning ladies - out of the wilderness so you can now see my chart again, pass me those socks Coggy! brr! That said, I always seem to take a tumble in temps on CD11 - funny! Maybe like you, I should OV earlier but something is stopping the follicles? not enough estrogen? Do you think you'll ov tomorrow after that dip?

Stretchmarks - your evening sounded fab! Thanks for the reassurance about the egg The book had me thoroughly depressed last night: we should have no pain during ov or AF, no spotting, red blood only, no sore boobs, no zig zaggy temps -- all making me feel very inadequate

Dry (i.e no alcohol) for you this weekend Natty?

Do you think we should have a thread on which we only post our charts and no chat so we can find each other's easily or should we repost them on here once a week?

Babymad4num3 · 16/10/2006 09:50

I've been taking my temp's at 7.00am on the dot! I have the basic package softare as i do my own at home on "excel" i signed up for the software so i was able to share with you Ladies!

Babymad4num3 · 16/10/2006 09:56

Babymad4num3 · 16/10/2006 10:14

I agree too! Need another tread just with charts then we wont need to keep posting them for others to find better, so what are we calling it? Chart spotters JUST CHART!?

coggy · 16/10/2006 19:08

Stretchmarks...your link was also impressive but I didn't like to post that on the other thread as it would have been two posts from me and look like I was chatting.......which isn't allowed in the rules of course!!!!!
Well done for the first attempt though!!!!

Not sure about OVing tomorrow MrsMc...the CBFM said it can give 5 or more days of HIGH fertility to some ladies...boo hoo....I on;y OVd earlier for the last two cycles cos I had the hcg jabs.....prob back to CD18 again this month!!
What a pain. [disappointed emoticon]

Thanks Coggy I impressed myself with my IT skills

I need another line on my chart for either PMT or acting like a stroppy teenager - have been in a real sulky mood all weekend -walked out of a shop on Sunday in a strop because DH pulled a face at some furntiure I wanted for the living room because he couldn't see the point in it !!! I am feeling much more grown up and adult like today !!!!

coggy · 16/10/2006 19:17

Ooops!!!
Oh well....never mind....we have hormones as a great excuse don't we??!!!!

So.....are you getting the furniture or not???

Thought you'd all be interested.
Hurrah for MN and useful people.
