No, haven't told Mr Fresh. We're being nice to each other again now though so I'm tempted to send him a pic of the test... Only problem is he's about 50 feet up on a scaffold at the moment, trying to fit a very large stone into a very big building, so anything that's going to distract him is likely to be a bad idea. And I think that might be a slightly distracting text!

jelly I feel quite normal, although I do have a headcold so not 100% well and any pg stuff is probably being masked by that at this early stage.... The headcold could be linked/exacerbated by pg, as a very runny nose (from increased blood flow effecting delicate sinus area) is a common symptom. Also to be fair, the tiff with Mr Fresh last night was prob my fault for being over-sensitive and argumentative, and first time round with DD I was physically fine but a ball of steaming hormoney angst. DH will definitely recognise the symptoms when I tell him tonight! That is indistinguishable from PMT though.

So prob a runny nose and a bitchin' case of hormone-linked snappiness is about it so far!

Melody, that first FRER was darker than my first, practically invisible, line. But six tests later, I had five BFPs to one BFN (I did a digi too early).

I picked up my pregnancy pack today - maybe I can be a little bit excited now.

Spent the rest of my weekend with my sisters in law. Youngest nephew fell over in something nasty and I had to run away, feeling like I was going to throw up. Older sister-in-law gave me a quizzical look and waggled her eyebrows. She knows.

Younger sis-in-law is 28 weeks pg with number one. She asked DH if she could borrow our co-sleeper and he shuffled his feet and asked if we could have it back for the end of May. She smiled a knowing smile: she knows too.

This keeping it all a secret lark is DIFFICULT.

Honey I saw your earlier post about wanting to go through it all with your best friend. I know 16 weeks minimum seems like an age now, but even if it takes a few months more, your future baby and hers will be in the same school year, the gap won't seem big at all once they're toddlers, I promise. If I hadn't miscarried the first time, I'd be 2 weeks behind D-sis-in-law, now being 22 weeks behind her still seems pretty close. I hope that isn't the wrong thing to say, all you can do for now is concentrate on you. And she will have the experiences fresh in her mind to share with you when you need her. I understand how hard it is though .

Before sounds like everyone is going to find out soon enough! How far along are you? My friend brings her pregnancy pack everywhere when we go out, she's 32 weeks (so pretty huge) but just leaves it lying around my house, I so want to peek in there and see what you get but it'd be rude lol!

I may sound really stupid here but what is a pregnancy pack? Went to docs last week and had no mention of it?

Callipy each hospital/trust does it different but it's your maternity notes, that you must take to every appointment, scan or otherwise contact with anyone so they can keep up with what is going on with you.

This is just a magic yellow envelope full of info. I have an appointment at the end of October to pick up my proper notes. Have to go and drop off wee and get a blood test in the meantime. Oh, the glamour.
