Ladies, Fred title says it all; we are the ones who shag as much as our men can cope with in order to get upduffed without the stress of scientific whatnots!

JIAC = Jizz in a Cup. Preferable to jizz on the carpet. This one's for the lucky men in our lives.

Shagging like something = JSing like a teenage nymphomaniac.

Giving a hooya = Giving a much needed slap to a fellow poster in danger of slipping into ttc obsession.

Contraband = Of COURSE none of us EVER partake of any silly OPKs or temp charting. They are Contraband.

Icing = ovulating. Another autocorrect development!

Thanks so much viroids for your replies! I just wondered. I had one tiny barely there spot of pink on Friday (7dpo). But nothing else. Felt like af might be coming yesterday with a mildly achy back and cramps.

Today I'm all cramps and soreness everywhere but it's got more to do with the uncomfortable bed I'm not sleeping in than anything else.

I'm going to wait until wed before testing, to see if b6 has done the trick and lengthened my lp past 10 days

No IB here La - but I don't know if I missed it by testing early! I had some brown gunkyness a couple of days after bfp which freaked me out but Dr Google said was leftovers from IB!

dulcet we have a boy name (I'm convinced it's a boy, as I've dreamt it, but we'll know for sure in a few weeks!) -- but if it is a girl, we have no clue! We are bad decision makers and will probably be coming up with names en route to the hospital.

It's 9dpo which is even earlier than last month. I can't believe it - timing was right on, but it's obviously just not meant to be.

We've been at Ikea all bloody weekend or at least that's what it felt like. Most of the furniture is now built so we have a dining table, wardrobes and all sorts! Now to plan a housewarming. My mother has invited me to the Caribbean in May...tempted to accept and invoke the law of sod.

la huge hug. I feel like we are twins. I am generally a very positive person, and remained so even through fertility treatments -- until one of our kitties had a stroke in the spring, right before our third round of IVF. That was when I hit rock bottom (alas, we had to put him to sleep, but don't even put that thought in your head!). Still, I somehow managed to keep putting one foot in front of the other. I hope your buddy recovers quickly and is home with you soon. Pets are such a comfort.

P.S. I had short cycles, too, with the witch arriving too soon after icing, every month. Never did get a straight answer on it, but low progesterone seems likely. Demand testing for it!

I haven't read the whole thread but I will. I think I've turned a corner. I haven't sobbed all week, and managed a hen weekend with 2 preg girls

I've got an appointment at the end of fecking October for pre-conception care at the ante natal clinic.
I'm not allowed to get pregnant til after then. if only it were that simple
Hopefully back to JSing soon in the meantime we've got to use contraception!
