Ladies, Fred title says it all; we are the ones who shag as much as our men can cope with in order to get upduffed without the stress of scientific whatnots!

JIAC = Jizz in a Cup. Preferable to jizz on the carpet. This one's for the lucky men in our lives.

Giving a hooya = Giving a much needed slap to a fellow poster in danger of slipping into ttc obsession.

I ended up buying the FRER in the end. I live in a village, next to a poncy "market town" which has no chain shops other than Tesco. So just had to choose from their selection. If no joy this month i will investigate further.

Morning Viroids! Well DP and I officially joined the ranks of you guys! We ditched the condoms and js'ed like there's no tomorrow! Both excited and nervous at the same time, although I've not had a visit from AF in 5 years, I'm pretty sure I was icing (going by the CM)!

Although the big issue with not having visits from AF is that I won't know when she's late so won't know if I have to test at any point! Guess I just for symptoms if i get upduffed?

Can't you test after 15 days? "15 dpo" as they say.

puple, metformin really helped me with insulin resistance (blood sugar was normal) and losing weight, so I have my fingers crossed it will be work for you.

lil I am late to this part of the conversation, but I know what a kick in the face it is to get that infertility “label.” When I was handed my referral, I also got a piece of paper listing nearby clinics that said INFERTILITY on the top in huge, red letters. Not exactly the gentlest, these doctors, right? The road was long, and it was difficult, but it was worth it. We are 16 weeks today! Stay positive.

I am finally feeling excited four months in. Going through fertility treatments really screws with your mind -- I had a hard time shaking the anxiety and the shock of actually getting pregnant after three rounds of IVF and a frozen transfer. I think I’m finally feeling solid enough to go join the grads thread, but I had to check in with you shaggers first. This thread was my home for nearly two years and the support really kept me sane. Little red is doing well; we had a great ultrasound a few weeks ago and got to see him or her moving and growing brains and everything!

I'm having a similarly glam weekend Gaggia - hoovered everywhere, mopped all the floors and cleaned both bathrooms. Taking a break now as my head is banging.

I had a teeny drop of blood too, at about the "right" time for implantation, but I also had some spotting through the first few weeks due to a small internal bleed, so who knows whether that first drop had to do with implantation or not!

I've never had IB Lala. It definitely is a thing though!

Red! Hurrah, so nice to hear from you. I was actually reading your blog the other week to check up on you! So glad things are going well - four months down, nearly halfway!

The name for family planning in German is "Kinderwunsch" which translates as "Children wish" which I think is lovely. They don't have a strong word for infertility, that tends to refer to plants, instead they say "unerfüllter Kinderwunsch" which means "unfulfilled children wish"

I located a thermometer, eventually! Thinking perhaps of starting folic acid because my gynae advised taking it for 2 months before starting TTC to build up levels before we start.

I refuse! Mainly because I am more tight than i am impatient. (It's the Welsh in me)

I am getting the odd cramp here and there. Muscle aches, but that is because I was "spring" cleaning the Brownie hall, then putting the kitchen back together.

We're going to oil the work surfaces now. Exciting times!
