TTC First Time - Anyone else?

My husband and I are TTC! I have been off the pill for a month now and have started taking folic acid and calcium with vit D to ensure if anything does happen I'm as healthy as possible. Limiting caffeine and alcohol but not cutting it out completely as you never know how long it will take! All my friends have just fallen pregnant really easily, but I have a feeling this will not be the case for me. I can't remember when my last period was either which is annoying as will need to wait for the next one before I can chart etc. Hmm Is anyone else out there TTC now? We could all share our stories and encourage each other! Smile

Hi ladies, can I join this thread? My dh & I are ttc our first baby. I came off the pill in feb & fell pregnant really quickly (within about 6 weeks) unfortunately this ended in a miscarriage at about 5-6 weeks. We weren't really trying before, just not preventing it so this feels like cycle 1 for me. That's why I want to join this group, trying to think positive & focus on getting my BFP!!
I'm now on cycle day 12 so according to my period tracker app this is my fertile week! Im taking folic acid & vitamin d as well as trying to cut out alcohol (although I am planning on having a drink this evening).
Feel so obsessed with falling pregnant just now! My dh thinks we should let it happen when it happens like the last time but now I've had my BFP I can't wait to get pregnant again!
Seems like you ladies are on the same page as me :)

Hi there! We are ttc, AF came to visit today unfortunately but I'm getting ready for the next round of frivolities lol.
I'm 35, DB has just had a vas reversal, results back last week, and specialist couldn't believe how good results were. He has 3 from a previous marriage and this would be my first, so here goes!

I'm hoping this is a lucky thread too. Wondering whether or not I've left it too late, seeing as though I'm 35, it's only now that I've found a man that I'd be happy having a child with, my two long- term exes were really not father material now I look back at it lol.

Congrats Ikkle, fab news.

Anyone else like me out for May? I'm CD 1 of round 3 of ttc, where are we all at? Smile

Congratulations Ikkleme, that's fab news!! Smile

Hullkat- me and my OH are both 40 and trying for our first baby. Like you, my precious partners were definity not father material. I too am worried that I am too old to conceive. However, after taking to my OH we have agreed not to get stressed and if its meant to be it will happen.

I'm out for may as now on CD4 of cycle 2 of TTC.

My boyfriend and I have just started trying for a baby! I've been off the pill around 2 months now. We have been having intercourse every other day and now I'm feeling really nauseaus and having pulling feelings in my lower abdomin. I don't want to get obsessed with it all tho! How is everyone finding it? Could lower abdominal pulls be a sign?

I find looking after my horse is a good distraction Grin certainly keeps me busy! Or lots of nice walks with DH and the dog. I'm just coming up to my fertile days so I will be exactly where you are this time next week xx
