WantAbabyNOW · 19/08/2006 17:05

Obv. no af...lol
MEGA sore boobs. DH almost got punched the other day when he touched them
stretchy feeling in abdomen
Sooo tired and cant sleep on tummy anymore
Weeing like a kid being toilet trained
Waking up at odd hours
Bit moody

Sexonlegs · 19/08/2006 21:30

Pendulum, my symptoms were so like af. Really sore and incredibly heavy boobs, a little snappy, and pretty tired. Also thought I had ov pains about a week ago, even though opk test said I had ov'd a week before that! Must of been stretching pain.

Fingers crossed for you. xx

manuka · 20/08/2006 10:30

Coggy - yes had awful birth! induced then emergency section and when they'd got her out the anaesthetic wore off but they ignored me when I was telling them it hurt!!! So went into shock and felt huge fear of her for ages. lot better now but woke up this morning feeling fear again. just have to force myself to do things for her. she is a lovely peaceful soul luckily but the whole mum thing scares the life out of me!!
Did you do a test??! Is it good news?!

manuka · 20/08/2006 11:54

Coggy! Sorry I don't have a brain! Its pendulum doing the test!! I hope she gets results she wants!!
Do you have babies yet? if so how many? I was meant to have ivf cos hormones so bonkers but had reflexology and healing and that got me preggers which saved a few pence!!!

pendulum · 20/08/2006 16:08

hi all
manuka and coggy, thanks again for input. Sorry to hear about your traumatic birth, manuka. How long ago was that?

Unfortunately I think I've come on today, a bit of a surprise as only 10 dpo according my my temp chart!

looks like I'll be seeing you on September thread- hey ho.

manuka · 20/08/2006 16:49

Sorry to hear that pendulum. It will happen though. I believe that it isn't the woman who 'wants' a child its the soul of the child to come thats already near and making the woman 'feel' she 'wants' a child. hope that makes sence! I had my baby 7 weeks ago. the longest 7 weeks of my life! I hope I get over this fear soon.
Make sure you're getting plenty of zinc in your diet, thats meant to help fertility. I heartily recommend reflexology and accupuncture for clearing the way to conception too. Worked for me anyway!and reiki, thats really good. Sounds mad but if you hold the intention of being open to receive the child in your womb, you'l bring it in. Try it, nothing to lose! I'm holding the intention of not allowing anyone in my womb ever again! I am closed for business!! Looking into donating my eggs wonder if there's anything on mumsnet? GOOD LUCK and let me know as soon as you get your good news! It will happen.

coggy · 20/08/2006 18:29

Sorry to hear about AF Pendulum.
It's a blimin' pain isn't it?

Manuka....give it time and less pressure and you'll bond with your dd and be less frightened of her. Maybe it'll be easier when she's a little bit bigger. Newborns with floppy necks scare me witless and then after a few months I'm fine!!
I had my ds last June but he died just before being born sadly.
We have been trying for another since and tried accupunture and reflexology before that but nothing yet.......

Natty1806 · 20/08/2006 18:31

Thats a nice why to put it.

And think it is fantasic that you are willing to donate your eggs.

Really hope you fear your baby less and sorry to hear you feel this way but can understand that it must be very daunting but am sure you will be fine .

aprilmeadow · 20/08/2006 19:20

CONGRATS WantaBabyNow and SOL on your BFP's.

I tested this afternoon once i got back from my weekend away in Wales and it was BFN. ALthough i am on CD26 (used a first response)and it was afternoon wee . So think i am jut going to wait it out and see if AF arrives or not.... well thats the plan, whether i can wait is another story!!

MrsMcJnr · 20/08/2006 19:33

SOL that is fabulous, so pleased for you! It is great, you and Wanta at the same time! Congratulations! Wishing you both very happy and healthy pregnancies.

Sorry to hear AF arrived Pendulum, you'll be in good company though on the Sept thread

Coggy - I am so sorry , we have been "chatting" for a while and I knew something had happened to your DS but I did not want to ask what. Hope you fall again very soon. Big hugs.

Manuka, sounds like you are having a rough time. I hope things get better with time. Congratualtions on your DD.

Good luck to all those ladies still in with a chance for August!

manuka · 20/08/2006 19:48

Coggy - cried when I read that. I can't imagine how you must feel and here you are giving help to others. what a strong and amazing woman you are. I hope you conceive soon. everyone on here is amazing aren't they? isn't this website a Godsend? You're so brave to try again after that experience I just couldn't ever do this again.
Thanks MrsMcJnr and Natty1806 too. I'm so overcome by all these lovely comments of support that I must go and cry now!
Coggy have you tried Reiki or shiatsu?? Some healers are amazing.

Natty1806 · 20/08/2006 20:56

Yeah coggy is a little gem, think she is an amazing women and she gives me and others on here so much strengh amd support.

I must have crossed post with her earlier message.

Really hope she falls at the same time as me as otherwise i will be following her onto to the ante natal threads and she will think i am a stalker.

LOL

Night all x

Sexonlegs · 20/08/2006 21:22

Hi ladies, Pendulum, sorry to hear you af has come - are you sure though or is it implantation? I though my af had come early about 7 days after ov, and look what has happened!

Manuka, really sorry to hear of your traumatic experiences. Being a new mum is traumatic enough without having had all that carry on. I really hope you and your dd start to bond and those memories will fade away.

Aprilmeadow, hang on in there - it's not over yet!

Good luck to everyone esle who has a chance still in August, and I'll be watching out on the Sept thread.

Wantababynow, when is your due date?

Love and hugs to all.

pendulum · 20/08/2006 21:52

Hi SOL,
yes, 'implantation' was my first optimistic thought, but I think it's too heavy for that. You only had a bit of spotting, didn't you?

Never mind- apart from the slight worry over my short luteal length (which might just be my inaccurate charting), I am more than happy to serve another month in the company of the lovely TTC ladies here...!

Sexonlegs · 21/08/2006 12:11

Hi Pendulum, tmi alert, but I had blood streaked cm, and then some brown bleeding which lasted for a couple of days.

Fimgers crossed for you.

Has anyone heard from Angsthase?

xx

timeforanother · 21/08/2006 12:36

Huge congrats on the BFPs!!!

Af arrived here yesterday, oh well, here's to September!

coggy · 21/08/2006 14:44

Thank you Natty and Manuka....I haven't tried Reiki but I'm up for most things!!!!!

Natty....you can stalk all you like....I often feel as if I am!!!!!

MrsMc...I don't mind anyone asking me what happened but I know people are different.
Basically I had a really healthy pg and a very lively boy! Too lively in fact as he got himself in a knot and then when he 'dropped down' to be born (well behaved - on his due date!!!) the knot tightened and he died.
We didn't know anything about until the midwife came to assess whether my contractions were strong enough to go to the labour ward....so it was a shock for everyone.
No-one to blame though and there were many other circumstances that we had a lot to be very thankful for.
And I loved being pg....even the morning sickness!!!
Can't wait for it to all happen again!!!!! .....well....can wait for the sick!!!!

Angsthase · 21/08/2006 17:01

Hi Girls, no internet at home at the mo, so sorry if I've kept you in suspense all w/e!
Had definate signs of AF on Saturday although no proper "arrival", so didn't test.
Looks like its arrived today, although still a funny brown colour and not much (sorry if TMI). Don't believe it's implantation, so just going to wait as don't want to disappoint myself with BFN.
That means this last cycle was 30 days. That's a first. sure my body just did it to p*$$ me off!

SOL and Wantababynow - WOW so for you both. Wicked.

Pendulum it ain't over till...you're really sure it's AF!!
Aprilmeadow - hang on in. You're our last hope!!

Coggy - you really are amazing. After all that and you're still so upbeat and funny. You make me laugh nearly every day on here. Glad you're around.

Sexonlegs · 21/08/2006 18:32

Fingers crossed angsthase - you never know!
Coggy is amazing I will second that - I truly reasure her humorous posts and the continual support she provides everyone. You are a Saint.
Hugs and love to you all.

Sexonlegs · 21/08/2006 18:32

Meant to say I truly treasure - sorry my hands went a bit funny!!

coggy · 21/08/2006 18:54

Obviously because you had your fingers crossed SOL!!!!!!

Thank you both.
