Icky sticky it is then!

SOL don't change your name, I like it! Unless you fancy changing it to 'orangebacardibreezersaremyconceptionaidofchoice'.

Bit of a mouthful though and I really wouldn't want to admit to that every time I posted!

xx

Sexonlegs · 14/08/2006 14:13

SOH, pmsl at the choice of name change for me! I do like sexonlegs I have to say, but then again....!
I also wondered about "sexinthewoods"!!

MrsMcJnr · 14/08/2006 14:18

Sorry just me trying to multi task and not doing any of it well sorry to both SOL and SOH - the alternative names made me laugh though

coggy · 14/08/2006 14:54

You have to keep the name SOL.....I am still traumatised everytime Hopecat comes on as another name!!!!!

However......I do rather like the alternative!!!!!
LOL at you SOH!!!!!!

Tili · 14/08/2006 15:18

afternoon all!
I wondered has anyone here ever tried or knows anything about agnus castus?
I have read that it is great for helping to kick start af and to help get a fairly regular cycle but have also heard that sometimes it can stop ov.
So im really confused.Wanted to give it a try but i only want af so can ov and etc if there is no chance of oving whilst taking it i will live without af for a few more months i think

coggy · 14/08/2006 16:15

I wouldn't muck around with it Tili.....unless you need it for something specific like a short luteal phase, then I would suggest going to a qualified herbalist.

Accupunture/reflexology might get your cycle more regular.
HTH.

Hi there. SOL, Angsthase, have my finders crossed for you both. You asked about symptoms etc... have a bit of cramping on and off and the old boobs are beginning to get sore... but could easily be heralding arrival of AF.

Remember from my last pregnancy that I suspected before taking the test: had that metal mouth thing and also felt really light-headed. Don't feel like that so far this month, although I reckon I have at least a week of my cycle to go.

I bought two HPTs in Tesco today but AM NOT GOING TO USE THEM until CD 33 ( 1 week today.) Think I will have to give them to DH to hide- although I can't trust him not to wee on them out of interest, I keep catching him with my basal thermometer in his mouth!

Sexonlegs · 14/08/2006 18:42

Oh Pendulum, pmsl about your dh potentially peeing on the hpt! Hilarious!
My boobs are still well sore, but I have some spotting and I am pretty sure af on its way. Not due until the 22nd, but I always get days of pre af shite!

Hope everyone elee is ok here.

HTH xxxxxxx

Angsthase · 15/08/2006 08:59

No symptoms to speak of, but they could be masked by my cold!

Pendulum - LOL at your DH, just the kind of number my DH might pull, especially if he were bored!!

I'm due Fri/Sat, so if it doesn't arrive, not going to test until Sunday or Monday if I can hold out

Here's hoping for some good news for at least one of us xx

MrsMcJnr · 15/08/2006 11:48

Hey ladies, just came to check on you and LOL at your DH Pendulum! Good luck with those BFPs! Babydust..................

Sexonlegs · 15/08/2006 13:16

Hiya ladies, just checking in and seeing whi is still hanging on in there for August.
CD25 today of 30, but really don't feel v positive. Really light brown bleeding still - sorry TMI at lunch time I know! Boobs are still sore. Apart from that, nowt to report.
HTH. Love and hugs to all.

jomax · 15/08/2006 14:07

Sexonlegs · 15/08/2006 14:10

Hi Jomax, not a pleasant welcome back for you then. I assume you are going over to the positive September thread. Good luck to you.

Tili · 15/08/2006 14:55

Im going to hop over to the positive Sept thread as its obvious nowt is happening this month

aprilmeadow · 15/08/2006 19:19

hi ladies,

CD21 today. Feeling knackered today - just nodded off on the bed whilst dh was showing ds (15mths) how the pc worked only to be woken by ds poking me in the eye to wake me up!! boobs have been tingling on and off for 2 days now - not going to read too much into it though.

Sorry to those of you who have had af arrive, am pretty sure that i will see you on the sept thread as only bd once this cycle!

pendulum · 16/08/2006 19:15

[pendulum swings open heavy door and turns on light]

er..... am I the last one here?

[tumbleweed rolls past]

aprilmeadow · 16/08/2006 19:30

Hi pendulum i am still here! CD22 so i guess i have about 6 days to wait and see is af arrives. Boobs feeling really sore and tingly today and felt a bit icky this morning.

Sexonlegs · 16/08/2006 19:33

Hi Pendulum, it is earily quiet on this thread today isn't it!

Well, a little bit of news. CD26 today and madly did an early pg test, and there was a faint line!!!

I am not going to get excited, and am going to wait until Sunday to do a proper test.

Love to all.

pendulum · 16/08/2006 19:43

oooooh SOL!! I am so excited now- no wonder you went quiet! It's a few days before you are due on , isn't it? Which test did you use?

I am also beginning to get my hopes up, have felt a bit sicky and hungover for the last two days. But am only 6 dpo so far too early to test yet (damn temping has taken away all the fun of doing early tests!)

I will prob be testing on monday if AF does not make an appearance.

Sounds hopeful for you too aprilmeadow!

coggy · 16/08/2006 20:27

Sounds good to me SOL.....a line is a line and all that jazz!!!!

Hurrah!!

wannaBe1974 · 16/08/2006 21:12

oooooh sol keeping everything crossed!

Sexonlegs · 16/08/2006 21:40

Hi all, yes, af not due for another 4 days, so v early. I got the pg tests from Access Diagnostics on the internet. They seem to specialise in fertility/pg tests.
I am trying not to get excited. Also, so many of my friends have got pg with their 2nd, and m/c'd.
Fingers crossed it will all be confirmed in the next few days.
Lots of love to each and every one of you. xx

coggy · 16/08/2006 23:06

And to you SOL.
Fingers crossed here for you.
X

Natty1806 · 17/08/2006 07:37

Fingers crossed for Sunday SOL

Angsthase · 17/08/2006 09:01

I'm still here too Pendulum!! AF due tom or Sat.

SOL - that sounds v.exciting. If AF doesn't arrive in the next two days I'm testing on Sunday too, but expecting AF to turn up TBH.

Fingers crossed for all of us left here stranded by the Sept girls
