SweepTheHalls · 11/05/2014 19:22

Really sorry to hear that's happened to you Wilting x

wiltingfast · 12/05/2014 10:19

I'm ok, bad news confirmed this morning. Feeling v worn out and down but also that at least the worrying is over and in a few days I'm sure I'll start to feel better. At least I did get pregnant so that is good. We'll def try again v soon.

Thanks for all the support. X

How is everyone else getting on?

BeginnerSAHM · 12/05/2014 15:10

So sorry wilting. Horrible news but really hope you'll have some happy news soon. I do know how it feels... Sending cyber hugs.

Passthebiscuitspls · 12/05/2014 15:53

So Sorry wilting. Sending big hugs your way. Xx

MabelMay · 12/05/2014 20:09

oh Wilting. Am so sorry to hear worst fears confirmed. I've been there (a few times) and know how shitty it is.
Don't know how you're feeling about the ttc-ing, but I just wanted to get straight back on the bus. They say you're at your most fertile after an MC but I'm never sure how true that is.

Really hope you'll be back here soon with a sticky bean and an uneventful pregnancy.

My thoughts are with you. x

DGLB · 13/05/2014 17:44

So sorry wilting Thanks

I have been there with my first baby, we conceived dd now 4 the next month xx

wiltingfast · 13/05/2014 22:39

Oh, how lovely DG! I'd love that! Can you really conceive so quickly? Hosp said to give it a cycle before trying again?

Feeling a fair bit better today at least. Still shocking tired though.

You've all been a wonderful support :)

MabelMay · 14/05/2014 04:46

wilting - I think the only reason they say to wait a cycle is so that they can date the pregnancy more easily. I got pregnant immediately after my first miscarriage - no AF in between - (sadly that one ended with another MC but nothing to do with conceiving straight away) - and I know anecdotally of lots of others who've had same, including a very close friend whose resulting pregnancy is now a 2 year old DD.

If you're feeling mentally ready, I'd say get right back on that saddle! There's no harm in it at all, from what I've been told.
Good luck! Will still be keeping an eye on these threads.
Take care of yourself. Smile

MabelMay · 14/05/2014 04:53

PS. I should add, the only thing I was told about TTCing straight after my first MC was that I should make sure I got a negative pregnancy test before trying, which shows that everything has cleared. Kind of a depressing moment but also gives you the all clear to go again. x

wiltingfast · 14/05/2014 13:10

ok good then, i definitely do want to go again.

Did a hpt last night and it was unsurprisingly negative. Is there any point using the opks? Cause I thought I might as well pee on one of those as well and I got a positive? Could that possibly be right??? It's just a week since I started to seriously miscarry though I suppose of course it might have started earlier than that...

BeginnerSAHM · 14/05/2014 19:21

Hi wilting - you could well be ovulating... You are supposed to be more fertile after a m/c. Everything crossed for you

DGLB · 14/05/2014 19:24

My dd is proof that you can, I mc at 7 weeks & was bleeding for a week then a month later without any bleeding inbetween I got a BFP a week after that the morning sickness started.....we wasn't properly trying as we didn't think it was possible, I agree with Mabel they say wait a month due to dates....our dd never replaced the baby we lost & we still think about him/her a lot but it did help being pg again.....if you feel up to it then go for it Smile

Passthebiscuitspls · 21/05/2014 09:32

Hey everyone, I'm in the 2ww again, argghhhh! Going by my last cycle which was 32 days, I would have ov'd around Monday-Wednesday. So that makes me around 7-9dpo I think. I didn't do any OPK's as I can't not drink for 4 hrs before and then I don't know if it's accurate or not! I reeeeeally hope it's this month. Due AF on Monday, so it's safe to say I'll be symptom spotting from today! No symptoms surprisingly (damn it!) but could be too early, oh the fun begins! ;)

Wilting; how you feeling? Do you think you did ovulate last week then?

How's everyone else? Anyone wanna join my 2ww?
Xx

busyDays · 21/05/2014 14:49

Good luck passthebiscuitspls!

I have been having a rotten few days. The spotting started up again at the weekend and since last night I have been having quite strong period like pains on and off through the day. It is just not looking promising. I think I am 6+6 today. On top of that I have been having terrible morning sickness so I am really not feeling great at the moment!

BeginnerSAHM · 21/05/2014 15:18

Hi passthebiscuits - fingers crossed for you this month. I got a positive test 10 dpo... Really hope it's the month.

Busy - sorry you've had spotting and cramps. It might not mean anything. I bled every day up to 9 weeks with DC2. And I've had a tiny bit of brown spotting this time. Feeling permanently hungover at the moment, which seems very unfair. Of course, I'm not really grumbling. I'm 8 weeks today according to rough date of my last period but think I'm really about 4 days less than that. Due date is currently New Year's Eve although DC2 was 4 weeks early and DC1 was 2 weeks early. We'll see. Scan on the 19th June (I think).

Joined in with an antenatal thread but can't keep up with the first time mum chatter!! It's rather different third time round....

How's everybody else doing??

oif · 21/05/2014 16:13

Hi all, hope it's alright to sneak in this late to the thread to join you. DD is 3.9, DS is 2, and just starting properly on the ttc journey for no3. Just marking place for now, will read through properly later.

passthebiscuits I am in same 2ww as you! - af due sunday I think.

Passthebiscuitspls · 21/05/2014 17:17

Oif; welcome, of course it's ok to join in! And even better that your in the 2ww too!

Busy; it's a really good sign that your ms is strong, although it's rubbish to go through, strong symptoms are more promising in my experience. Are you having an early scan or anything to reassure you? It's a long time til the 12 week one isn't it.

Beginner; ha ha, I remember the hungover feeling oh so well? Shame there's no gin involved in this hangover! ;) yes, I imagine it's very diff third time round, still so exciting tho hey? Have you told anyone else yet? I'm expecting an underwhelming reaction to this one seeing as I've already got two. I'm hoping not as it's still as wanted as the first two and in some ways more exciting as this is def the last.

Still no symptoms, boo!!??
Xx

SweepTheHalls · 21/05/2014 18:16

I have no idea whether to expect AF this weekend (going by normal 21 day cycles) or next weekend as the my last cycle was long after an early miscarriage the month before. I have absolutely no idea!

jazzyjenbo · 21/05/2014 18:33

Hi, can i join in, not been on a thread for ages and like to chat!!

DS 3.5, DD 21mth, MMC 20/01/14 so been ttc since then.. 31 day cycle, today day 26, pink/brown spotting.

I had spotting in all 3 of my pregnancies, but usually when af was due. I am approx 5-9 days past fertile window (according to the ovia app)

So just on the waiting game again.. App says test in 4 days (sun) af due mon.

I've googled how long after implantation you can get bfp but want to get others views. (With ds i thought implantation was period so didnt know i was pg until i missed nxt period.. With dd and mmc i tested positive 1 week after ib .. But just didnt test earlier)

Nice to meet u all x x

wiltingfast · 22/05/2014 22:27

I'm ok biscuits. Not sure I ovulated really, realised after I'd done the pg test in the evening so not sure the negative counts? And then of course that throws doubt on the opk. We dtd anyway but I slumped again after that really and we did nothing else for at least a week, no testing no dtd nothing. Did a hpt last tues am and that was negative so now def ready to go again!

Any symptoms with you? And welcome to all the newbies!

And how are you busy? Fx for you and your bean :)

And feel free to grumble beginner! If you can't vent here where can you?

Has your af turned up sweep?

oif · 23/05/2014 12:25

So I'm out for this month. 24 day cycle weirdly - having been v irregular for the rest of my life suddenly developed 28day totally regular cycles after DS born. Does make the waiting seem much easier than when cycles cld be anything from 35-42 days.

Good luck to the rest of you!

Passthebiscuitspls · 23/05/2014 12:40

Welcome Jazzy! I can't really comment to be honest as I've never had implantation bleeding, I've heard it's around 10 days after you ov so I'd go by that. Sounds positive for you tho, fingers crossed!

Oif; sorry AF got you. But Yey for short cycles, cuts down on the waiting time, I'd much prefer that, you get more chances to get a BFP that way!

Wilting; glad you're ready to get back on the bandwagon. Fx your one of the ones that falls straight away as your meant to be really fertile now.

Well, CD29 and still no symptoms, I def think I'm out. 3 days ish to go, I'm hoping it's too soon but I'm thinking I'm out, damn it!! I officially hate TTC!!

Fingers crossed for everyone else waiting it out! Xx

oif · 23/05/2014 16:31

No symptoms doesn't mean anything pass! I had no symptoms at all with DS until I started showing. I didn't even test until what would have been around cd50 as I was convinced I was just having an exceptionally long cycle.

I am feeling so much older and more knackered/falling apart this time round. Really want a third child but at the same time can't help worrying about bringing on all that physical and mental pummelling again. I really must start seeing a physio or osteopath or sthg now as my sacrum has been painful on and off for the two and a half years since my last pregnancy and I have never got round to having it looked at. Have high ambitions this time to look after myself better (if we're lucky enough to conceive again) but not really sure how I will manage that. Perhaps project 'sort myself out' can be a helpful distraction from all the damned waiting of ttc....

wilting finally got round to reading thread and so sorry your April good news ended so sadly. Glad you are feeling ready to go again and hope the next cycle will be a lucky one for you.

jazzyjenbo · 24/05/2014 19:03

Out as well, spotting for 3 days now turned into light af.. Maybe nxt month will b our month x

Passthebiscuitspls · 25/05/2014 10:09

Sorry Jazzy!

Still no symptoms for me so AF must be on your way tomorrow, boo!!!

Xx
