Still no AF, Internet cheapie still says no. What the heck is going on? My cycles are only 3weeks, so could ithat be the reason for levels not picking up? Or an I not pregnant and everything is still messed up from the loss? Aaaahhhhh!

wiltingfast · 29/04/2014 21:01

SweepTheHalls · 29/04/2014 22:34

Great news wilting Grin

busyDays · 29/04/2014 22:38

Lol, wilting I forgive you as I couldn't wait for the morning either! I peed on a stick too and it is also a BFP!!!! Congratulations on yours!!

I guess the OPK wasn't wrong in my case. Still can't quite believe it. I popped down to the shops to get a pregnancy test and took it as soon as I got home. The line wasn't super dark but it was clear. It was dark enough that I probably could have got a BFP a day or two ago already.

It looks like mine will be an early January baby. Poor dh is a little shell shocked but happy and I am positively over the moon!!! I just hope it is a sticky one. Well sticky ones for all of us who got BFPs this month. Smile

wiltingfast · 30/04/2014 00:10

Yay busy so happy for you! I so wish dh was here to tell. Was talking to him on the phone and he is dying with the flu poor thing. Took a photo of the result was thinking of texting it to him...

MabelMay · 30/04/2014 04:02

Passthebiscuitspls · 30/04/2014 12:59

Congrats Wilting and Busy, such fantastic news! They are coming thick and fast now!!
DGLB; glad to hear everything is ok despite the bleeding!

I'm hoping some of this luck rubs off on me this month!! I'm just waiting for ovulation now, going away soon though so hoping to DTD lots this month! Fingers crossed!

Good luck for those still waiting for AF. Xx

busyDays · 30/04/2014 19:15

Hold the congratulations, it looks like this pregnancy is going to be a completely non-starter. Sad

I took another pregnancy test this morning and the line was really dark, much darker than yesterday so things were looking good, but I have now started spotting. I guess it will probably be a chemical. Now I wish I hadn't tested early as I would have preferred to not know. Feeling very disappointed but there's not a lot I can do. Sad

wiltingfast · 30/04/2014 20:09

Oh DG nightmare, hope everything is ok?

And so sorry busy :( when is your af actually due? Maybe it's implantation? Could be blood left over but only coming out now?

BeginnerSAHM · 30/04/2014 21:09

Yup busy, I was thinking the same thing. I had brown spotting for a couple of days at 8, 9 and 10 dpo. I don't want to give false hope but it might be that. I also have had 2 'chemical' pregnancies too that started a similar way and I know how upsetting that is. Mind you, the spotting went to full on red bleeding quite quickly then. Take it easy and hope it is just spotting and stops.

(Bled with DC2, a little but more than spotting, nearly every day up until 9 weeks and she's fine... Really hope you've got a sticky one and just a bit of spotting... xx)

busyDays · 30/04/2014 21:10

Af would have been due tomorrow. I don't really think it could be implantation bleeding, seems a bit too late for that. Will have to just wait and see what happens.

SweepTheHalls · 30/04/2014 21:38

Fingers crossed for you

Passthebiscuitspls · 01/05/2014 10:59

Fingers crossed Busy, thinking of you.

Xx

busyDays · 01/05/2014 19:35

Well I'm still none the wiser today. The spotting has continued but it is now much lighter than it was last night. Dr Google seems to think spotting is common in early pregnancy but I am trying very hard not to get my hopes up too much. I feel like I have been catapulted right back into the 2ww, symptom spotting like mad and waiting for af to turn up. If it does turn out to be a chemical pregnancy I really hope that af comes sooner rather than later as this emotional roller coaster is exhausting. Confused

wiltingfast · 01/05/2014 22:28

Where there's no af, there's still hope busy. Another few days and I'm sure you'll know for certain. x

How are you getting on sweep?

BeginnerSAHM · 02/05/2014 11:47

Agree with wilting. How are you today busy? Keeping fingers crossed for you. And, yes, I was wondering how sweep is too.

Told a good friend last night... Had drinks with ex work colleagues before going to for a late bite to eat (and more drinks) with my friend. Had to fess up as couldn't have a glass of wine - I spent two hours drinking one bottle of lager at the previous work drinks... She won't tell anybody and is a friend from my previous job so won't come into contact with family or other friends. So I figured it's ok! Gosh, only 5+2.... This is taking ages, just like pregnancies 1 and 2 Wink.

Did my normal fitness circuits training this morning. I'm going to keep exercising I think. Even did loads of crunchies but feel fine - good in fact. Am dreading the morning sickness starting. Don't deal so well with that bit of pregnancy... Not that I'm really complaining

SweepTheHalls · 02/05/2014 17:50

Still here Grin no AF, I've been and bought some first rap once tests to use tommrow morning, when if I am on a normal cycle I would be a week late, but with my 3week cycles and last months loss I have no idea what on earth is going on!
I was so convinced I must be I did a clear blue digi on Tuesday, and nothing which is why I have waited until Saturday to test again.

SweepTheHalls · 05/05/2014 08:29

I'm out for another month, who knows cycle 18 sound lucky to anyone?

wiltingfast · 05/05/2014 14:02

Aw sweep I'm sorry :( hope cycles 18 I'd the one for you.

My own news is looking shaky. Had a bleed yesterday and there's light spotting today with a little pain in to the right. No cramping at leasy I guess. Will ring gp tomorrow.

BeginnerSAHM · 05/05/2014 15:06

Sorry sweep... Fingers crossed for this cycle. Wilting - argh. Hope it sticks.... This is the 'problem' with being able to test 'early' these days. I wish I hadn't known I'd had two chemical pregnancies a couple of years ago. All still ok with me touch wood. 5+5 I think, so still early days.

wiltingfast · 05/05/2014 16:04

I know, my poor dh is worse than I am, first he was shocked I was pg Hmm7n he had barely come to terms with that when started bleeding yesterday. He's looking shook...

MabelMay · 05/05/2014 19:19

wilting try not to worry although I know easier said than done. I had quite a lot of spotting in those very early days, and quite a lot of general gunk coming out (sorry) and was convinced each one was the beginning of an MC. But here I am at 14 weeks and (so far) all well.
I think it's really common at this early point for stuff to come out and for spotting/small bleeds as the embryo burrows in - also explains the pains - which if they're not actually full-on painful cramps are also a sign of things digging in.

Are you going to book an early scan this time do you think? I found having a 7/8 week scan really helped - I think I'd have gone mad waiting for the 12 wk one.
Still so pleased for you! If spotting continues am sure you can go to EPU and get it checked out just to reassure yourself.
