Hi everyone my AF appeared on 3rd December, so got kicked off the December bus pretty early! But couldn't see a January bus yet!! My stats are TTC #2 cycle 5 Sad BFP due 8th Jan.

OP posts:
Gingerpanther27 · 04/01/2014 19:06

I was on the mini pill ( cerazette) for less than a month four months ago and had regular cycles since so nothing to effect them and I'm now in limbo land for nearly two cycles.

Flukewoman · 04/01/2014 19:43

Could I ask a little bit of advice about cycle length and ovulation from anyone who knows about it? I've just entered the start dates of my last year of cycles before I threw my 2013 calendar away and it looks like my cycles have varied between 20 and 30 days apart! The two shortest cycles happen to coincide with the two most stressful months of my working year, which is interesting.

I don't know much about when I ovulate but I do know that this time around day 7 of bleeding (AF has been looong in recent months) was very mucousy. I am not ready to want to start OPKs yet.

According to the FF app the days we didn't use protection were actually quite likely fertile days (originally I thought it was far too early but these short cycles affect all the normal advice!) They were days 7 and 9. So really my question is probably WTF is going on with my cycle?

PunkyPod · 04/01/2014 19:43

Hi everyone. I hope it's ok for me to pop my head in and say hi. Looking forward to seeing lots more names in the September group.

x xThanks

Blithereens - There is a my little pony docu? Xmas Grin.

Sorry to hear about your AF BumpNGrind. Good luck for the Feb bus.

I tried to go downstairs and be subtle about POAS as DH told me to wait until Monday but as soon as he came downstairs with DD, he was like "Are you pregnant then?" Xmas Blush. My DH knows me too well. Sadly got a BFN. Oh well, AF not due until the 10th so still time for something to show.

Choccywoccydodah · 04/01/2014 19:58

Flukewoman, as I said to bella, even though you had a short cycle, you may still have ov'd later on therefore your LP would be short and the chances of catching becomes slimmer. It may be worth investing in some cheap opks (eBay about £3 for 20) then you know exactly when you're ov'ing and how long your LP is.

Bella, the b6 you can get from holland and Barrett. They were about £4 I think for 2 jars. I take 50mg (one tablet) up to ov then 100mg after.
It really helped me ov earlier by 3 days, and I've caught both months I've used it.

Sorry about your af bump, bitch!

And yes, a my little pony doc???

LH1981 · 04/01/2014 20:06

Ginger I was on Cerazette until August - and same here, a bit of a wait for AF to come back and then pretty regular...until now! Wonder if that's it?!

Getting to the point where I'm getting in a bad mood over it and snapping at everyone. Bah!

Cherieblossom · 04/01/2014 20:10

Oh ladies
I have had cramps like mad so I had a glimmer of hope and poas.... BFN :-(((
Today is cd26, my cycles have been 27-28 recently
The test was an amazon cheapie
Is there still hope for me?
I am cramping a lot which I don't normally get before AF
All opinions appreciated
X

Blithereens · 04/01/2014 20:17

HRM and Choccy I found the doc on Netflix and was intrigued! It's about how the new MLP show has a ton of adult and apparently mostly male fans. I'm a geek
And John de Lancie (Q from Star Trek: The Next Generation) is in it so I have it a go. And was apparently moved to tears Hmm

Gingerpanther27 · 04/01/2014 20:17

lh I was on it post birth and it made my post birth bleeding long and dragged it out.as soon as I stopped taking it within two or three days it had stopped. Limbo land update. I just spewed up after smoking. I quit now. Dp happy with that.

Gingerpanther27 · 04/01/2014 20:17

And I'm also getting very pissy with it all.

Flukewoman · 04/01/2014 20:36

Sorry about your BFN Cherie Hmm

And thank you choccie

MHJC · 04/01/2014 20:48

I'm on CD 35, and my cycle varies between 30-38 days, so thought I'd give a test a go just now...Sadly negative.

My pre-menstrual symptoms are almost non-existent (a good thing my whole life until now!), so no idea if AF's on the way. Think I'll get some OPK tests so i can work out my ovulation day better for the next cycle.

Pleased to be on the bus anyway, Kt1991, please add me as below:
MHJC: TTC #1 cycle 2, BFP 4th Jan

LH1981 · 04/01/2014 21:01

Ginger you must be???!!
When will you test again? X

northernlass81 · 04/01/2014 21:10

Hi all.

Can I join the bus please? TTC #1 and this will be my first cycle TTC. Came off the mini pill in Nov and have had two 30 day cycles since. Should ovualte around the 9th so BFP due Jan 23rd. Have pretty clear ovulation signs so decided just to DTD lots!!
Good luck all.

Meringuebaby · 04/01/2014 22:10

Welcome northern! Good luck!

TMI... We've been at it since Thurs, with OV due Mon. Fingers crossed. BFP AF due around 21st.

I really feel for all the ladies suffering through the TTC madness, the unanswered questions relating to the weird stuff our lady parts get up too... It's no fun! Good job we can at least enjoy the rudies!!

I didn't know that if your period is short/light getting pg can be more difficult! This is worrying me! My periods have been 1-2days at most since coming off the pill in Sept. Pretty light too. Eeeeep!

Gingerpanther27 · 04/01/2014 22:23

LH next test is next week when I get paid lol. If I'm not then wth is up with me?!

mama31 · 04/01/2014 22:31

LOL moment....clearblue pregnancy test advert came on tv and DH just put 2 fingers up at it :/ so it's not just me getting impatient......

mama31 · 04/01/2014 22:31

Ps that's not normal behaviour for him....just to clarify! haha!

Gingerpanther27 · 04/01/2014 22:37

Lol at your dp mama that's my sentiments as well.

barmybunting · 04/01/2014 22:44

Ginger, you must be getting so frustrated! Are you going to try to see Dr at some point? Any news for you LH?

I'm glad I'm not the only one whose cycle seems to be all over the place. Although saying that, I would rather noone had that! CD19 or 20 I think for me, and looks like ewcm is starting to appear. Just in time for the worst week ever - packing up and moving 600 miles across the country into a house I have never seen and an area I have only visited twice about 6 years ago... This should be fun. DH doesn't know it, but he is about to have lots of testing an airbed in dtd as we pack/move and our furniture disappears for a few days! Maybe it's well timed, I won't be able to fuss as much as usual anyway Smile.

BumpNGrind · 05/01/2014 00:32

Barmy I don't envy you, moving is an absolute nightmare but it'll be much easier to get your DH to DTD because it's the absolute rule that all new houses must be christened.

AF is quite painful this month which isn't softening the blow at all, uuuurggghhh, someone pass me the leftover Quality Street!

Gingerpanther27 · 05/01/2014 00:51

Barmy I went to see the midwife this week and she can't fit me in for over a week, by the time I get seen it'll be time for my next period if it had happened. Dp has basically presumed I'm upduffed and I'm just getting pissy as still no proof. So either I have a shy bfp or my body is playing some very cruel tricks on me. Just fed up and want to know am I pregnant if not where is my period. The week midwife can fit me in is the week I go back to college so should be fun.

PolytheneGirl · 05/01/2014 01:43

Hi everybody. Exciting NY for us all. I'm TTC #2. In dec we had a slight mishap and nervously awaited AF. DH and I were both so disappointed when it arrived it seemed obvious that Jan was def the right time to start trying.

Is it too late to hop on the bus? My stats are:
TTC #2 cycle #1 bfp due 17 Jan.

Good luck to everyone x x

WakeyTryingAgain · 05/01/2014 07:12

AF due today...no cramping or pain.
Just POAS and it's one of those BFNs that's so glaringly obvious it's like the stick is laughing at you.
Not a fun day, although to be honest not sure how good I would of been at work if it was a BFP!

queenasanti3 · 05/01/2014 07:45

Hi,
Not sure what type of phones you have but there are some good apps out there for those wanting to know when they ovulate I have one called My calender it is a pic of a pink book with a flower on it, I use it to log when my period starts, it then marks on the calender when your most fertile days are and which day you are likely to ovulate and it works out your average cycle length after a few entries have been made, so l used this the first time I tried to conceive along side ovulation test just to be sure and got pregnant first try, oh and I was using pregnacare conception too dont know if that helped.
