Hi everyone my AF appeared on 3rd December, so got kicked off the December bus pretty early! But couldn't see a January bus yet!! My stats are TTC #2 cycle 5 Sad BFP due 8th Jan.

bellaboo88 · 30/12/2013 10:52

Well I've just poas for the first time, 8dpo so super early but I had to. Bfn (not worried yet, free month b4 properly trying next month)

Can see myself becoming a poas-aholic tho!!

My wee smells like sugarpuffs. Any1 else have this?x

Monstersaurus · 30/12/2013 10:58

Hi all, sorry I've been away for a while. Work and Christmas have been keeping me busy. Welcome to all the newbies, fingers crossed that the BFPs will start pouring in soon.

We've managed to DTD every other day despite DH's shifts and visitors. That tent would have been useful at times! I think I OVd on the 26th or 27th but just in case we'll carry on DTD.

Hope you all had a great Christmas. We're having a quiet hogmanay. After a hectic Christmas I'm really looking forward to it!

Tigsy · 30/12/2013 11:46

Just checking in with everyone! I posted right at the beginning of this thread saying that I was hoping we would be TTC in January but wasn't sure yet. OH and I have had an absolutely horrendous 6 weeks- we had a very traumatic death in the family, so things have been very difficult. Anyway, on boxing day I decided to brave it and ask OH whether he had made his mind up about wanting to TTC, expecting him to say no, and he said yes that he felt he was ready! Smile

After the discussion, I checked my dates and realised it was about the time I should be ovulating, so we started straight away! Not sure we will be successful this month, as may have missed the boat, but so excited to have finally started, although can quickly see I'm going to get obsessive about this, even though I promised myself I wouldn't.

So excited that the January bus will soon be departing! Good luck to everyone and can't wait to see all the bfps start arriving!

Harry2007 · 30/12/2013 11:52

I think that justifies a second test ginger (said by a poas-aholic!)

Harry2007 · 30/12/2013 11:56

Morning (just) all!

I'm on my fourth day of flashing smiley face on the Clearblue opk's today which, in theory, should mean that tomorrow is d-day, or should that be o-day?

Monstersaurus · 30/12/2013 12:00

Good luck Tigsy! Hope your horrible 6 weeks have a happy BFP ending.

Ginger, definitely POAS!

HRMumness · 30/12/2013 12:12

Have I missed the bus?? Worried I have literally missed the bus as DH said we had to wait until Boxing Day. DTD a few times already so we will have to wait and see.

Fingers crossed for lots of BFPs in the New Year.

My stats are:
HRMumness TTC#2 Cycle 1 BFP due 10th January

bumpbangbump · 30/12/2013 12:28

Feel the first pangs of AF, due 2nd, so think I may be changing my stats pretty early on the bus. Will still be Jan, just the end rather than the beginning! Fx I'm imagining it but I have a bad feeling.

pebble82 · 30/12/2013 13:04

I have pangs of AF too but nothing as yet. POAS early this morning though (AF actually due tomorrow/NYD) and got BFN. There is still a glimmer of hope but thinking I'll have to be on the Feb bus.

A bit gutted as Feb will be difficult as DP is away with work around predicted OV so think it'll be the March bus realistically.

Getting a bit upset as had lots of friends announce pregnancy news over christmas. Some of them are accidents and they weren't even tying "we only did it once...he has super sperm...hahahaha!" - I'm pleased for them but also want to scream in her face. I know it's silly and I'm only on cycle 1 but for some stupid reason I feel like my body is a bit of a failure for not doing the right thing - hers obviously can without even trying. I'm taking Folic Acid, Vit D, cut down on drinking, down to one cup of coffee/tea a day (trust me this is hard for me!) so why the hell won't my stupid womb sort itself out!! - BTW, I KNOW this is COMPLETELY RIDICULOUS! I'm glad this website and you ladies are here to vent my idiotic frustrations to though. Blush

missmrsmummy · 30/12/2013 13:16

I feel the same, pebble82 - I had kind of assumed it would just work! Especially as I used opk and we DTD a lot!

LaceyLee · 30/12/2013 15:28

Agree pebble, I was hoping it would work for us first time but no joy even tho we DTD at right time. I think there's a 25% chance each cycle tho so not overly likely it would happen that quick. I am now having the AF from hell, so heavy for the last 3 days... Hoping I might have bfp late jan but who knows..

MrsF2510 · 30/12/2013 17:48

Hi all, I too was a bit naive and thought it would happen super quickly. I am not overly old, have been taking vitamins, been eating healthily, reduced caffeine and alcohol intake but got BFN today. I am still 2 days before AF is due but thought it would likely be picked up by now as many people seem to get BFP on here quite early. Saying that the test was an internet cheapie so have ordered a CB - will not use that until at least a couple of days late - if that happens!

LightsPlease · 30/12/2013 17:58

Hi ladies ,
Wasnt sure when af was due as had light spotting on the eighth and as I got a bfn on boxing day I classed the sootting as a period so af should be due on the 7th.
Think I'm getting af early as having the same very light spotting today.

Very disappointing.

Princesscrystalx · 30/12/2013 18:32

laceylee i feel exactly the same, gutted i came on today. This cycle im not gunna use opk but dtd every other day, take vitimens and just relax!! Fx itll work xx

Gingerpanther27 · 30/12/2013 19:06

Been told I'll get seen when clinics aren't as full in two weeks. Day before I start a new college course. Brilliant. Hmm they'll do bloods then providing af not turn up. That way they can repeat them 48 hours apart.

htbftm · 30/12/2013 19:12

Can I hop on the January bus please? :-)

TTC#4 cycle 1 BFP - no idea!

(#4 but my youngest is 18 next month, so feel like a first timer!)

missmrsmummy · 30/12/2013 19:25

Updating my details!

missmrsmummy, 2nd cycle TTC#1, BFP due 24/1/14 (though no idea as my cycle is not regular atm)

PetiteChouette · 30/12/2013 19:34

Lacylee and everyone (on my phone app so sorry I can't scroll and answer properly). I'm feeling very much the same! I know it's irrational and silly but I hoped things be easy this time. I know my odds are stacked against me age-wise. I just thought karma would give me a kindly break after everything that happened to be last time I TTC with my ExH. But no such luck. I know it's stupid after 1 cycle, but I'm already panicking about what's wrong with me and DP this time round. I need to stop being silly and get a grip. Just a bit weepy at moment. (Ooooh symptom maybe Wink)

Welcome to all the newcomers. Here's hoping for a lovely NY BFP for us all. Grin

PuddingAndHotMilk · 30/12/2013 19:48

Can I join? TTC #2 but still Bf'ing DD so no AF yet. I'm 40 already so need to get on with it!

htbftm · 30/12/2013 19:54

Snap Puddingandhotmilk! FX!!!!

PuddingAndHotMilk · 30/12/2013 19:55

Grin Thx htb. Fx for us both!!

Jessica78 · 30/12/2013 20:07

Can I get on the January bus please?

Have been ttc since May & becoming a little frustrated - in fact received a copy of a letter today from my Endocrinologist to my GP which starts with 'Jessica is feeling very frustrated at the moment' ( the words she used in the consultation were 'pissed off'!

I had a really heavy three week bleed, massive clots ( like as big as a goldfish TMI - sorry ) and flooding. My GP thinks it was related to my PCOS, but the Endocrinilogist thinks it may have been an early miscarriage - I didn't think to do a test & was too late when I saw her, I'd started my next period.

To cap this off, my S-I-L is 15 weeks pregnant & constantly updating everyone on her pregnancy on FB & Instagram. Saying how wonderful she is feeling & taking lots of photos - obviously I am pleased for her, but find her smugness very grating. Am I alone in these horrible jealous feelings - makes me feel like a horrible person & I'm not! ( she knows we are trying to conceive, but not about the possible MC ).

Sorry to vent my 'frustration' to you guys, but hard to tell anyone in Real Life, without sounding awful.

Anyway - ticket for the January bus please ttc#1, cycle 7, BFP due Jan 12 !

Choccywoccydodah · 30/12/2013 20:10

Ginger you can insist on a blood test NOW!! All they have to do is fill in a bloody form and you pick it up to take to the hospital!! They can do all the forms and you just take them every other day. 2 weeks is a long bloody way away!!

Who asked about sugar puff wee? I had it the month I wasn't pregnant, and also the month I ate looooooads of sweet stuff, so think it had something to do with the sweets and nothing to do with the non pregnant iyswim? Grin

HollyBen · 30/12/2013 20:11

Hi all. Will read back through a bit later to see what you have been up to on the January bus as I am cooking dinner. I have been hanging on to the December bus hoping for a Christmas miracle but given I have had pink tinged cm for a couple of days and escalating today I think it is time to admit defeat and hop on here. So hollyben ttc#2 cycle 2 post mc bfp due 29th Jan

mattsmama · 30/12/2013 20:54

Hi ladies - I think I have a Bad POAS obsession - I just cannot bloody stop myself. AF not due till Saturday so it is still early but aargh this 2ww is awful! I have even dissected the flipping things to scrutinise them even closer! Is anyone else this bad??! Done one this morning and one in the last hour - with no glimmer of a pink line

Keeping fingers well and truly crossed for everyone x
