Is there a January bus yet?!!

Hi everyone my AF appeared on 3rd December, so got kicked off the December bus pretty early! But couldn't see a January bus yet!! My stats are TTC #2 cycle 5 BFP due 8th Jan.

How is everyone today?

I hate AF feel crappy today, headache, back ache and feel sick although to much alcohol last night could be contributing to the pain
I usually have AF for 4 days so only another 2 days of feeling rubbish.

Cycles are very long, 41 days, so going to order Opks from amazon to try and pinpoint the best time.

Sorry you're feeling rubbish wineandchoc, hopefully with af gone soon you can enjoy the DTD-athon!

My DH also started off really laid back but can now barely hold back with the 'are you ovulating?' 'do you thinj your preg?' 'when will we kniw if it's worked' 'when can we test'...so I think it might all have been an act to start with!

Been using cheap Internet opks and the line has been getting darker each day. Been testing at 5pm but was late last night-9pm as was visiting relatives and the line was very dark. First month using them though so not sure if a positive or not. Would the timing difference affect the result?

Staying at in laws has not been allowed to affect our ttc efforts... just had to have very quiet boring sex for a couple of days. ... oh well, back to enjoying it now

Lovecuppy my dp is the same....very laid back! He also doesn't like dtd on demand!! I was quite anxious at ov time last month trying to coax him to dtd!!
Lots of cm today in cd8 so think I will ov soon as sshortish cycles!

Hi somuch....so sorry to hear of your loss. If its any help I also had an early mc and my af returned a month later. I hope your cycle returns to normal and you get a sticky bean soon

Hi Hope you don't mind me joining. I've been a bit lost A.F turned up for a day on 28 Nov. I must have spent a fortune on tests. A.F Turned up again on 16-20 December. We don't make love on demand as only get to see each other on set days, well I suppose in that way it is in demand so far in this cycle we have made love 20th 21st 22cd last night and this morning. He's going away on for new year for a week so I wont see him now untill 10th January. We'll just have to make up for our lost baby making time when he comes home, untill then I'll climb the walls. Friends visiting, and as I thought, she is expecting. Very early days, but obviously thrilled. Feels a bit bittersweet for dh and I as if my bfp from earlier this month had stuck, I would have been due in the same week as she is. Fingers crossed it all goes well for them!

ahh Barmy it is hard isn't it the bittersweet feeling. A friend of mine just fell pregnant in the first month of trying and just sort of dtd around the right time and hey presto preggo straight away...SO happy for her as I thought they may not have another and pleased they decided to go for it, but did leave me with a slight pang of jealousy when after 13 months I have had no luck! Oh well...fx 2014 is the lucky year!

Can I hop on please. Came off pill 3 weeks ago, got first positive opk yesterday so dtding as much as we can in a holiday house with the in-laws!
I know we'd be very lucky and I'm trying not to get excited but there is a chance for BFP On 12th Jan (although FF says test on the 16th).
Feels like a long time to wait...

Agh am I the only one that gets stressed out at ov time?!!

I'm on cd8 and will probably ov on cd11.....if it was up to me I'd dtd every day now but dp doesn't like to dtd on demand!! So now I'm wondering whether to tell him it's the right time or leave it and hope for the best!!

Thing is he's worked all day and also working tonight so no chance tonight!

Hmmm now that I've written this I'm thinking I'll just have to try and stay calm and wait until tomorrow night!

We also found out this week that some friends are expecting, of course I'm happy for them but I do find it difficult.

Hi everyone joining from the December bus, I was lurking there last month and learnt so much from you all. Hope you have a successful month.

I'm meeting my friend tomorrow and she's just announced her pregnancy. I'm so happy for her and I really want to talk to her about ttc and ask her for all the insider information but I'm scared that if we take a while I'll feel a bit vulnerable.

I'm in the 2ww and have refused a couple of nights out. The friends who have invited me are big drinkers and I really don't know what to do about a big night out during the 2ww. Doctor have a fad night and enjoy! hope you've got something sparkly and lovely to wear.

Come on BFP, come and get me. I'm waiting for youuuuuuu... 8dpo or so and starting to get twitchy!

Please may I hop aboard?! I'm TTC #2, cycle 4, currently on cd 14 and ov according to the almighty cbfm so shall work my magic again tonight. So hoping for a bfp 11th Jan (though AF is due on the 8th due to shorter cycles.

Spinning my DP is the same and won't do it on demand! So find it really difficult around ovulation to not get stressed. Luckily this month we were off work and managed to DTD the say before ovulation I hope so fingers crossed!!!

None Bump. Although I don't think I had any with DD until around 5-6 weeks pregnant. Just hoping so so bad. Getting married in mid Jan and would love to tell DP the news on the big day.

My DP is the same and I worry if I push him he'll put a stop to the whole thing. He's very scared about his life changing (I.e. not being able to go out with the boys/play on the PlayStation/go on spontaneous holidays)but knows he wants children. We are both 31 but sometimes I think he still thinks he's a teenager. He'll be a great dad, I just wish he was as into conceiving as I was. He's just sort of agreeing to it right now because it makes logical sense. Life will change but it'll be amazing. Maybe men just don't have the instinct as much as women.

Pebble....my dp really wants me to be pregnant, he doesn't have any dc and this would be my 3rd. He just doesn't like to dtd on demand and it's not made easier with him working shifts!!

I did have a chat to him about it when I saw him briefly earlier and he laughed and said 'I'll do my best'.....can't ask for more than that!

On the whole though I think men are more laid back about the whole thing. Its different for women with all our hormones running riot!!

Lovecuppy.....time off definitely helps! When I got my bfp we had just come back from 2 weeks holiday, just the 2 of us so plenty of time to have fun!! Sadly I mc'd but it just shows what happens when you're relaxed!

We all need to go on holiday!!

Haven't read back since I was last on, but have a question for you.
So, I'm ovulating again after my 2nd chem and only 1 day late too . However since yesterday I've had really uncomfy cramps, no appetite, and diarrhoea (sorry if tmi). I've never had this before, so am wondering if anyone else has had this??
