okay I hope I'm not treading on anyone's toes but as the proud owner of a July AF I'm posting early. Any seconders for a BFP filled August are very welcome.

Is my bday in August so fingers crossed. And by my calculations my ov this month should tie in with dh's 30th birthday.

i must have ovulated two as expected this weekend i have a temp rise this morning , its no good saying am on the two weeks wait now( bummer)

got back from our lovely weekend away in devon, very relaxing and was soo nice not to be possessed with ttc. we just had some naughty adult fun because we wanted to not for the sake of trying to get pregnant. although now i am back the am i or arnt i question has kicked in. a/f is due friday. first thing i did when we walked through the door was pull out y stash of cheap ebay tests and do 1...BFN!!!

i guess only time will tell

i think we are in lock step as AF is due on Saturday and I am counting down the days to testing. am going to try at least to make it until Thursday? Getting the BFN is just such a bummer. I am so sorry. I have taken to naming my fictional nothingness "tommy tidbit" which helps to keep me thinking lightly and not heavily/morbidly about getting a BFN.

DH and I went to wales this weekend and it definitely took my mind off (i also didnt do succh a great job staying off the bubbly which I hope doesnt come back to haunt me).

Trace - so sorry. I cant remember a month when I didnt have the biggest blow out fights right around OV time. That stinks. Hope you can get some make up bding in.

Hi everyone

Just to let you all know the consultant appointment at the fertility clinic went well, was not in there long. Has said he will put me on clomid to start with, i will have the first few cycles monitored. If when i have the scan it appears i have Polystic ovaries i will put on the waiting list for a Laparoscopic ovarian diathermy with usually takes 6 months to get an appointment, if however no polystic ovaries and don't respond to clomid i will have a HSG and after clomid be put on another drug metos something. If still nothing then it will be down the IVF route but he thinks i shouldn't have too many problems getting pregnant and i will get there in the end.

Sorry if i have rambled, just need to wait for my next period to start clomid and i presume my doctor will contact me to give me the prescription as i was just given information sheets today and think they are writing to my GP.

Anyway this now means that my AF is prob due 5th sep so i am off to start a positive Sep thread.

Anyone heard from Wannabe?

jomax - its a killer isnt it waiting..i also didnt manage to keep away from the drink...(4 shots for a fiver ) i just thought sod it im not gonna refrain from drink "just incase" its not like me and dp get the chance to go away that often as he always so busy with work. and we both just wanted to chill out.

natty - it seems there is a light at the end of the tunnel for you and you will eventually get there in the end which i suppose is good news for you just got to have a bit of patience (easier said than done i know)

jomax forgot to say, when are you going to be testing? do you wanna be testing buddies?

i'm going hpt cold turkey - its hell

my car went in to be repaired today and colleague gave me a lift home. it was torture; he'd gone to empty on petrol and had to pull into sodding tesco's to fill up. and there was me thinking; can't go there, no car till 2morrow. i was spitting distance from them. only resisted cos feet kiling me from silly tarty heels

no news from Wrighty, or that I have seen - hope she's okay too

Is wrighty now ladybump? If so her levels have increased by not raising fast enough so she has got a scan on Friday.

lmao at resisiting because of tarty heels.

beccy i work at tescos...i face the damn things several times a day!! and the urge to just clear the shelf of them is soooo tempting...but i resist
this month though i havnt got any symptoms whatsoever so im feeling its a BFN month...all i have is a strong sicky feeling for about 10 mins in the morning and it goes. my last pg i was constantly hungry had cramping and sore boobs about 2 weeks b4 testing.

coggy, we stayed in bucks cross (bideford bay holiday camp) was very pretty countryside and found a nice pub nearby called the hoops. weather wasnt too bad it rained saturday but lovely sunday so we got to go out and about to westward ho and the gnome factory?! which was very funny seeing dp strolling around in a aluminous pink hat (he insisted on wearing)
