okay I hope I'm not treading on anyone's toes but as the proud owner of a July AF I'm posting early. Any seconders for a BFP filled August are very welcome.

Is my bday in August so fingers crossed. And by my calculations my ov this month should tie in with dh's 30th birthday.

Morning bellie I wouldnt worry about your EWCM as you are only on cd13 and some people dont get it until cd18/19 so really dont worry. Just keep a look out for it.

DH got in, said he could see somthing not sure if a line and has banned me from testing anymore for a few days. so im quite miffed. i know he's right but it's v frustrating. poor parents i got their hopes up for nothing but the line was within the 3 mins and was waving and had colour.

i just dismantled it and its still there and u can see pink on reverse, BUT it is thin and not as fat as the control line. and i did other clearblue and nothing.

any thoughts on thin lines welcome. i know piffle had one which came to nothing.

i just know its not an evap line as was instant or certainly within time. and has colour. is just thin. a faulty test perhaps.

Im keeping my fingers crossed for you and everybody else on this thread. Am confused by some comments on here though and having a blonde moment so bear with me. I thought you were most fertile 14 days after first day of AF. Some people are saying 7 days. Maybe this is why Ive been unable to conceive for 5 years. All comments welcome as Im most confused now.

woke up this morning and no brown discharge so i tested and its a bfn. im not actually due until 3 aug so i will just wait and see if af appears before then. How is everyone else getting on? hi bellie sorry to hear about your toilet that happened to me when I first moved in I was panicing all night in case water had got into the electrics!!as it was gushing through the kitchen ceiling.

Hi LVT - For a lot of people you are most firtile on say 14 of a 28day cycle. (bear in mind that you count day one as first day of period (af)) But that is not nessisarily a hard and fast rule. Some people are most firtile on day 12 or 19 some people are most firtile even earlier. That is why the advice given is to look out for EWCM (egg white cervival mucus) cm that looks like raw egg whites, this happens on the day of your ov (ovulation) and shows that you have oved. Also taking you temp. When you have done these for a few months you will know on what days you are most firtile and in the meantime bding (having sex) on the day that you get EWCM will keep the chances of conceving high. (grin)

I think I have been sticking to the rule then as thats what I thought. Anyway I would also like to join this thread and I will keep my fingers crossed for everybody. I know a lot of you have been having a hard time lately. Although I dont think DD will ever be getting a baby brother.

DH quick fix is to but another pet. We now have two beautiful maltese terriers. Youngest is 10 weeks old. May be a good thing dont have a bubba at same time or would be grey for sure!

Buy another pet i meant... not sure how you would but one!

Beccy1974 thats cool, it helped me I was looking at the wrong bit of the cheapy dipsticks and confusing myself untill I saw what a positve one actually looks like. am on day 38 of cycle but tests yesterday all negative, and thought af had come but in fact it still hasn't which is annoying and confusing, good luck to you all that are ttc.

I did a reveal test this morning and there was a very very very faint line that (after reading beccy's post) I thought might just be an evap line. After hours of debating what next hpt to get I thought that I should just get the digital one (no worring about faint lines just 'pregnant' or 'not pregnant').... and it was a BFP!! But even now I'm worried that maybe it was faulty.

Beccy hunny honestly get the didgital ones they come in three pack for £15 from tescos. (You could do one each day leading up to your af if you please.) Mine wasn't an evap line (and it was grey not even pink) I bet yours isn't either. Fingers crossed for you babe.xxx

i dont think they can ever be faulty

i'm too scared to do a digital, prob cos i knew its just a blip. i read evap lines cant come up within the allocated time, and mine was up in the 3 mins, but .. i think it may be a faulty test rather than an evap

although at same time i can still see pink in it.

dh will divorce me if i test i think. so waiting for aug 3rd which is day 31, af due 4th i guess. nightmare

i am having a nightmare, as you know, got bfp last monday. On friday i started to bleed. small brown disharge and panicked. went to epu and they did scan and i saw my little gestation sac but was too soon for heartbeat. they said all they can do is blood test on fri and on sunday to see if hcg is still increasing. if not, it's game over. had bloods done but got to wait til tomorrow for results.Bleeding intermittent but still there with mixture of cramps and wind pains! can't stop crying. looks like i could be back with you guys tomorrow if the results show the hormones have dropped and my beanie has bailed out. will keep you posted.

Well my symptoms were bloating, wind, extreem tiredness, slight nausea (not everyday) and for the past 5days cramping in my pelvis. The last one worrys me a bit as I didn't get this with dd. Boobs have been sore but not especially sore.

BDing done every day over ov days and all sorts of positions doggy was a def favourite and the lying down for at least 10mins after.

Let me take this op to send lots of babydust to all the rest ttc...
