Is my bday in August so fingers crossed. And by my calculations my ov this month should tie in with dh's 30th birthday.

so paws crossed

oh bubblez, just read your post on july thread, thank you, but i am going to be very postive from now.

bubblez · 24/07/2006 11:07

Glad to hear it Trace2. I think that being positive and relaxed are the hardest things to do but one of the most benificial things to do.

Does anyone else on this thread feel extreemly tired all the time? out of interest.

Or have a bloated stomach?

trace2 · 24/07/2006 11:10

bubblez its sounds very hopefull for you

trace2 · 24/07/2006 11:15

Piffle so glad was going to come on your thread to chat r u ok,? how you holding up? so glad for you hun

Nicki10 · 24/07/2006 11:20

Yeah Bubblez it did make sense! and i also do feel bloated and tired all the time. I think thebloated thing is a symtom of me coming off the pill though (but it is very extreme i look and feel like a weeball!)and the tired thing I think is because of hot weather and not sleeping, I had to have an afternoon nap on Saturday!

Nicki10 · 24/07/2006 11:20
Blush
bubblez · 24/07/2006 11:40

lol at 'weeball' that is just like me. Maybe it is the weather making me so knackered. I stopped my pill over a year ago now so I know that is out of my system.

Maybe the bloating is just my body telling me that AF is on her way. Now look who is being negative .

It is really embarasing though I can't even hide the stomach.

OH I do hope so Trace2.

Nicki10 · 24/07/2006 11:47

Well if this is new to you after a year then maybe it's looking hopeful for us both! We must do some positive thinking. When is AF due Bubblez?

Sexonlegs · 24/07/2006 11:49

Morning all, God there has been a lot of posting on here today! Are you all teachers on your hols??
Welcome back trace, really lovely to see you again, and thanks for the advise re mixing the grapefruit with orange - I was wondering how I was going to manage it otherwise!
Sorry about your fall bubblez; sounds nasty.
I fell out of the shower the day after dh proposed - I was hungover and hadn't slept as I was so excited and lost my footing, grabbed on to the shower curtain and went tits up on to the floor! Attractive.
Anyway, at work, so a quick fingers crossed to everyone and will be back later on. xx

bubblez · 24/07/2006 11:59

AF is due on sunday if 28day cicle, monday if 29day and tuesday if 30day cicle. That's why I've said that I would test on the tuesday 1st. Now I don't know if I can wait that long.

bubblez · 24/07/2006 12:00

lol SOL I thought that I was the only one who could be that clumbsy. How are things going for you?

Sexonlegs · 24/07/2006 12:15

Hi Bubblez, hold off testing if you can - I know how hard it is though.
Things are ok with me. Af arrived Saturday for sure and no mistake, so just waiting for it to leave before we can get on with it!
Glad the weather has cooled off like the rest of us on here - the thought of bd'ing in that heat was not a pleasant one!
I am going to try and be more relaxed this month about ttc - will still bd regularly and all the rest, but I just think what will be will be. I already have a lovely 3 yr old daughter, and whilst it would be great to have a sibling for her, I am not going to stress too much, as she picks up on it when I am stressy.

bubblez · 24/07/2006 12:22

Yeah I think I will hold off testing dispite the 'poissonous' thread. (if you think that you might be pregnant please test)

It amazes me how people who are educated and wise in years can be soooo utterly narrow minded, completely rude and tackless. Some people have no consideration for others. I know I was always taught to 'respect my elders' but there are some people who just don't deserve it.

Beccy1974 · 24/07/2006 12:28

hey all

another hot week for those on mission make a baby - poor hubbies - remember the thread from last month; invest in an electric fan - works wonders apparently

Sexonlegs · 24/07/2006 12:52

Bubblez, you've lost me. What thread are you referring to - "poissonous"?

bubblez · 24/07/2006 12:59

this one here

pendulum · 24/07/2006 13:02

Hi all
I have just been into town and succumbed to the temptation of buying a digital BBT thermometer, despite my protestations earlier on this thread.

I think it was the price that swung it, £12.99 seems kinda reasonable for the opportunity to take my obsession to a whole new level!

Don't know if it will work for me because my days of waking peacefully to the alarm and spending a few minutes in bed before getting up are behind me since DD's arrival, but I'm hoping I will be able to confirm that I am at least ov'ing.

MrsMcJnr, I have also had erratic periods since stopping the pill in April, the first couple were really light and I had some spotting like you describe. It's supposed to be completely normal for a few months, just a pain in the a*se when you;re trying to work out what your cycles are!

bubblez · 24/07/2006 13:02

wow that is the first time i have done a link

It is just quite tactless imo esp as 'hopingforabump' thought that it may be directed at her (although im sure that it was in response to my thread as poisson actually posted for me to 'do a test')

I just hate all that taking the piss out of other people, you know.

Sexonlegs · 24/07/2006 13:05

Pendulum, where did you get your thermometer from - that seems really good value. I said I wasn't going to bother, and like you, am not sure if dd will allow me, but worth a shot!
Not sure if I'll be able to analyse the info though - all this talk about cover lines and stuff!! Bubblez, I am going to have a look at the thread in a mo.

trace2 · 24/07/2006 13:08

wow dh proposed sol (how exciting, did you say yes?

becky hi, not seen you around for a while how are you?

trace2 · 24/07/2006 13:10

pendulum, i use one from £shop its great too

Nicki10 · 24/07/2006 13:13

Bubblez I have just read the thread and can't believe how rude and insensitive it is either. If your going to join MN then this is what it is all about and if people don't like then I believe they shouldn't be on it as there are plenty of other chat sites on the internet. I can completly see why you are angry as so am I

Beccy1974 · 24/07/2006 13:14

hi Trace, i'm fine tks v much - hope you're, well, hope you are having some nice things happen and that there are lots more to come.

SOL - engaged - I scrolled through & didn't see. congrats fab news
