We've been ttc for fe months, before NTNP. However now I'm starting to feel the pressure for BFP.

Wood I got a horrible cold at the end of my holiday too. Told my DP he was going to have to risk getting it when I wanted to DTD!

One I have gotten a bit fat too but mine is alcohol/fish&chips related.. health kick starts now we are back in uk..

Well I was going to wait for AF due next week but the feb bus is having a poas party on Sunday when I'll be 12dpo so going to test then. I'm fairly sure I'll be out this month but still can't resist the urge to test!

wood you could do that whole your first pets name with your first Street name thing that might be a bit long though!

I'm good thanks, counting down the days until scan, time goes so slowly - 4 days to go (excluding today and scan day cos I need to make the number as small as possible!) I'm still feeling team pink but who knows. The June antenatal thread has a massively high number of boys at the moment, it's about 15 boys to 5 girls so maybe we'll boost the girl figure......but all I really want is to know that beany is ok.

wood I like broody's suggestion of first pets name plus something, could use mothers maiden name.....doesn't that give your 'porn star' name??

Well af turned up bang on cue so it's on to cycle 9 I made up for it with extra prosecco which helped to numb the pain a bit!
Bloods all done, thanks for asking all. We've got an appt with dr on 31st, not entirely sure if dh's results will be back by then as he was told a couple of weeks (surely it can't take that long?!!) so not sure if I've jumped the gun a bit making the appt for this wk, may need to be wk after, will let you know.

A few ladies on Feb bus are having a tough time this week but I am lucky enough to be feeling very calm and relaxed it's kind of great to be so sure you aren't pg so you aren't worried about seeing a bfn when you do test!!

Usernames are so rubbish to think of everyone on here seems so creative though. My pet and street name would be fishthorpe. Obviously I was as creative as a child with pets name as I am now. I dont think fish is a good idea on here somehow haha.

Glad you had a good time in rome onelife I hope it was a good distraction from the stupid AF. I went to the docs a week after my oh had his sample done and his results were in so I hope your hospital is as efficient!

Vicky id quite like to know if you're thoughts on possible names change once you know the sex seems common! I like the few names I have thought of but the longer it takes the more I start rethinking!!

Well, I've rung the docs and as suspected dh's results are not back yet, sheesh. So we've rebooked appt for next fri as that's the only time dh can make without having to explain anything to work and means we see the same doc. The good news is though the receptionist told me all my bloods came back normal, want to get the specifics from the Dr but obviously pleased about that, just hoping it's the same for dh, eek.

So it's back to waiting, seems to be all we do!!!

Any fun plans for the weekend? We're off out for a meal tonight and we've booked a cheaply deal on a hotel so we can both have a drink. Then maybe the cinema tmrw.

Ha ha totally agree wood that fish might not be the most appropriate - my username is hardly imaginative, it amazes me how people can come up with such good names!

I couldn't adopt the first pet thing either, my first pet was called Roger!

Thanks god it's Friday - this week has dragged. Time can go so slow when you're trying to wish it by quicker. Me and DH are out with friends tonight to celebrate a friends engagement which should be fun, I'm struggling to keep my eyes open at my desk but hoping I get a second wind later on.

wood I forgot to say re names, we have a short list of 4 girls and 4 boys that we both agree on so it will definitely be interesting to see if they stay the same after Monday. Obviously we will be able to narrow down to just one set of 4 but I wonder if any of those will change completely?!

My absolute no1 name at the start is no longer the front runnerafro me and I think I actually prefer hubby's choice now. So difficult though.

TMI ALERT!! Sorry ladies but need some advice. I am 11dpo AF due tue/wed/thurs next week. Today we dtd and after when cleaning myself up (sorry) I noticed blood. Light Pink like blood mixed with DP's semen (sorry) I haven't bled since it was like I'd just bled whilst dtd... I find that worrying. Any thoughts? ? oh and dtd wasn't especially energetic or rough. . more lazy sat morning cuddly style! ! Sorry again for tmi please let me know what you think x

Hi everyone just joined today, wanted to ask how long does it take on average to conceive me and partner have been trying for almost 3 months and nothing recently tried softcup method and have ordered pre seed from boots today after loads of good reviews feels like im on a deserted island with no one to understand what its like ttc :( im 20 partner is 27 so dont think there is anything stopping us it just doesnt seem to be happening

Ahh broody no pet names for us, and anything he does call me isn't worth bragging about haha.

Also I don't think you need to worry about today. I really don't know much about that but I have heard people mention it on other posts and nothing ever seems to be wrong, are you in any pain or has it happened since? If anything im hoping its a good thing.

Hi Wood, nope no blood since or any pain.

So was supposed to POAS today but when I went to get test out of drawer realised I only have digis I thought I had a superdrug one left but obviously used them all. Didn't POAS on the digi as thought I was too early for that but felt the need to pee so did an OPK.. I know I am mental. But it came out a big dark positive... Isn't that weird???

I think AF is on the way it was dark when I wiped this morning so will be keeping an eye on it. Im on cd 27 earliest I have had id 28 so not unusual I suppose. It's better than having to decide if I need to pop pills or not.

When are you going to test?

I don't know. According to my app I'm not due until 6th but have a feeling AF could arrive earlier than that. If I had a test in the house I'd do it today just to stop obsessing but seeing as I don't I sort of think I could just wait until Thurs!!

Sorry AF might be with you. . 28days isn't short though.. no pills is good.

ps. I can't sneak out to shops as don't want DP to know I'm testing early!
