Day Four: 4 embryos

2 x compacted morula
2 x 9 cell

Don't think we'll have any to freeze by tomorrow after the two blastos are transferred Sad

Sorry if that sounds greedy, but this is our one and only chance if we don't get a frostie.

Thinking of Buzzy, Wish, Mejust, Tortie and anyone else who's struggling and feeling rotten xx

tametortie · 17/06/2013 07:53

Juicy- I think you will be surprised. Those 9 cells may well compact today xxx good news xxx

I just want the bad news so I can move on...

mejust · 17/06/2013 10:45

tametortie · 17/06/2013 10:50

Good luck Wish- let us know xxx

EuroShaggleton · 17/06/2013 11:02

wish I hope all is well at your scan.

joos 2 blasts would be totes amazeballs. :)

Aw tame it's nice to be so wanted.

I've had my second scan this morning. After 2 days of stims I have 8 follies between 10 and 15mm. The dr reckons I might get half that at EC as she wouldn't expect all those to develop on a natural modified cycle, which is absolutely fine. I was only expecting one before Friday's scan led to a change of plan. I'm adding Cetrocide into the mix today, so my hippy days are well and truly behind me.

Wish, good luck today.

Off to the beach in 33° heat. Yuk.

ManJuice · 17/06/2013 11:15

Erm...nah, think I'll stick to the Juice

Karbea · 17/06/2013 11:15

Ok? 2, 3 cell, 4 cell both slightly fragmented have gone back in, slow growers apparently. But still viable apparently

Eggs were grainy and morphology and volume issues.

wishwash · 17/06/2013 11:34

Yaaaay! I will have 7-10 good size follies and EC is arranged for Thursday. Grinning like a Cheshire Cat Smile

chocoloco1 · 17/06/2013 11:42

euro, sorry, great news about your follies

resipsa · 17/06/2013 13:40

Random questions for anyone more informed than me (whilst I take an enforced break from a very dull work day), all DE related:

  1. What drugs do you have to take?
  2. Is it less "full on" (physically anyway) than OE cycle?
  3. How do they synch you and D?
  4. What happens to the egg you (ceteris paribus) produce that month or do they stop it?

Any contributions to poor knowledge base welcome as STILL waiting for clinic to get back to me with info (isn't the £6,000 we've spent already enough to merit a prompt reply?).

resipsa · 17/06/2013 13:41

euro and wish - good news.

resipsa · 17/06/2013 13:42

Karb fingers crossed.

Lifeasafish · 17/06/2013 15:14

tortie i'm a landoner and will be more than happy to keep you company while DH has a wank Grin

respisa I'm glad DH has come round. Seems he may have been frightened in some way?

buzzy cyber hugs. Any upate? Try to stay as neutral as possible, but I am thinking of you.

ManJuice · 17/06/2013 15:18

Wish, lovely news, well done!

Karb, keep your chin up. is this an NHS cycle of have you gone private? Sorry I need reminding.

Hi, Choco, how are you, lovely? Thanks for keep cheering us all on x

Resipsa, I personally have felt absolutely no difference being on any of these drugs - no side-effects; nothing (apart from a few days of increased libido whilst on the oestrogens). I had a mock cycle to bring me and the donor into alignment (no downregging at all) and was stimmed with oestrogens in the transfer cycle itself, then Cetrotide injections to stop ovulation and finally Ovitrelle 36 hours before donor EC. Throughout the transfer cycle you continue with the oestrogen and the Prednisolone (anti-inflammatory) steroid.

Tomorrow (ET) I will be injected with Pregnyl (HCG) and continur with the Agolutin injections (progesterone) which I've been stabbing with since day after EC. On Wednesday I will start the Fraxipane (anti-clotting) injections. Hope this is clear enough.

All I can say is this is the easiest ride I've ever had Smile

P.s..you don't produce an egg during the transfer cycle (despite getting the most copious amounts of EWCM you've ever had in your life)

Karbea · 17/06/2013 15:23

Man juice we've gone privately, second time with the argc.

Lifeasafish · 17/06/2013 15:24

AFM I'm struggling. I'm very, very emotional. I'm upset(still neutral about my chances), but this weekend has thrown every emotion at me. Including a woman who I think was in labour (she was certainly huge and extremely uncomfortable), in front of me.

My DH is struggling and very worried about me. My ovaries hurt, my stomach hurts, my head hurts, I have no energy and the ability to cry at the drop of a hat. Oh, and my head hurts... And my stomach hurts and my ovaries hurt.

HOWEVER... Its only been a few weeks. Ive had flu not much worse. It'll will hopefully be worth it and if not, it was a good practice run.

I had a scan today. I've now been stimming for 7 days and have 8 growing follicles. I will hear later whether or not my gonal-f dose will change. I had bloods taken as well. My lining is fine (8mm I think the doc said). The nurse said more follicles can grow so they are still treading carefully as no one wants all 48.

Does this sound like a low harvest? I'm not sure where it should be now.
