Purple, i agree about the body playing tricks, but it's my first, so have no idea how anything is supposed to feel.

Not feelin as bad as I was earlier but not quite right still. Obviously clinging to hope that dizzyness and nausea are bfp symptoms but google tells me it's much more likely to be af.

oh well done not tears pixie. It must be difficult ttc and baby talk is everywhere. At my work there are 6 women all about to go on maternity leave and so tons of baby showers everywhere and cards and tiny baby booties your happy for them with just a teensy bit of jealousy or maybe thats just me

Argh. One minute I think I might be pregs and the next my sensible head thinks that would be too good to be true and these rumblings are probably just the slow build up to ASAP. I forget how much I hate the tww till I'm in in/approaching the end.

Purple/pixie totally know what you mean on the other pregnancies. Although I find it's pregnancy announcements and v early pregnancies that are the toughest. Seems ok after that. And it's a given that your happy for them but doesn't stop you wishing it was you too. If I conceive this month I'll be pg before my 12 month mark. Although I had an mc at 8 weeks in jan. probably pinning too much on this month. Who is testing next week? X

Slow build up to AF not ASAP! Oops.

Totally gutted this morning :( Not managed to DTD anywhere near enough (once!!) during my fertile window due to work commitments etc. We did manage on the day I got my +ve OPK, which also seems to be the day I ovulated according to my BBT. DH had to work late last night (and has been on 12 hour shifts all week after being away all last weekend!). Of course, I handled it with the utmost maturity and cried like a baby (excuse the irony here) managing to get only 4 hours sleep, then again this morning on the way to work, trying to hide the big wet streak marks down my face from the girls I car share with; one of whom BTW announced she was 15 weeks pregnant and managed to conceive in the first month after coming of the pill and only having a withdrawl bleed and no actual AF, therefore catching here very first egg. I can predict I am going to have a "poor me" day today. Balls. On the plus DH has told me that next month he will make sure he?s not doing 12 hr shifts around ?fertility week?. Brilliant. Then I realised he is meant to be away the Fri-Sun?.peak fertility starts the Friday??.
Sorry for the moan/whinge/rant. I?m always the pessimist?.i need to try to be one of the glass half full people?.any hints?

You can DTD before he goes away on Friday (or before you go to work) and then again as soon as he gets home on Sunday. Don't let tiredness put you off (it only needs to be a quicky anyway), that way you have done it every other day over your fertile window

Congrats to all the bfp's. Af is on her way for me so I'm moving on to the July bus. Gonna try b6 this time & see if that makes a difference. Good luck to those still to test.

I'm feeling particularly optimistic at the minute April shall I rub up against you? meow I took painkillers I think they are the source of my optimism.

By the by my last post was aimed at you but I forgot to put your name in it... again I blame the drugs.

lol Disney probably the only rub I'll get this week ;) always go too far I am interested in the -happy pills-- painkillers you have they sound like something that could help. Or Gin. Gin always helps :D

Thanks mrscookie I downloaded it onto my Kindle so will have a read of that. I am generally impatient and a control freak, so I think that doesn't help me?.there are some things you just can't control. Don?t think I'd be that bad, but have had a few issues in the years gone by (lol!) and was advised many moons ago that I may find it difficult to conceive (I may also not find it difficult), but feel that if we aren't trying properly then I can't make the difficulty judgement....does that make sense?
