Hi guys I have been sitting very quietly at the back as since I got engaged we eased off on the ttc. I have been on the last two buses last one again sitting quietly at the back. Last night I thought wow not thought about the baby making in ages, went for a bath and my last rogue test fell. I thought of for old times sake I will poas and I was chilling in my bath I noticed a line a very very faint line but a line!!! My partner ran out to the shop and got a test for me to try this morn another darker line appeared so we went digital and it said PREGNANT!!!

It's sept next year and baby due around feb so plenty of time to lose the bulge! Doesn't change anything really! Am so excited but as this is my first time ever pregnant I am wanting something to happen so am like yeah am preggers now...do u know what I mean!

Ha ha, yeah I can imagine! You kinda want sommit instant like your nose to turn blue or sommit! There'll be enuf appointments and pg symptoms to keep you occupied and feeling pg I'm sure! Glad no stress on your wedding plans, sounds perfect!

beauty I'm feeling the same! Trying to wait until Sunday morning to use my digital test but I'm sitting at work thinking "omg I might actually be pg right now - can anyone tell??" It's like I suddenly think there's a beacon on my head flashing or something!

Also feeling sneaky as usually POAS with DH around to wait with me, but did this morning's whilst he was in bed, then went straight to work.

I think because it's just a faint line I'm in denial.

Share your symptoms - I'm going crazy I think I'm heading for a massive disappoint as I keep thinking I'm BFP. I have a constant nag in my tummy like AF is on her way but she's not due til next wed. I've had this dull ache for about 4 days and keeping awake is becoming a mission so much so myself and my 18mth old have just had a nice 1.5 hour nap! Gawd I hope TTC the SMEP way doesn't take long for me as I think I might end up a little crazy!

Hi Pixie, yeah I know what you mean!! I'm good thanks. Trying to be philosophical about it and chilling as much as I can. DP and I didn't really talk about the mc as he was being a (supportive) man. All came to a head a few weeks ago when he said he wanted to go to a festival without me for a lads weekend (which I have no issue with at all) but I was a bit glum as I was hoping I'd have been pg by July so it would have been a no brainer that I wasn't going. So we had a looooong talk about all sorts, and are properly timing and trying now and if I'm not pg then I get to go to the festival and if I am then so much the better!

laptop symptoms as mentioned earlier: bruised/heavy feeling boobs, tiredness (although this could be explained by heavy workload), amazingly vivid dreams every single night

For those of you interested, we dtd CD11, 12, 15, 18, 19, 20 and I got a positive OPK on CD 19.

Gave up cerazette on 1st March, had first proper AF mid-May, so this was our first real cycle of trying.

It'll be amazing if it really did work!

Congratulations on the bfps....jazzcat you have cheered me up..came off cerazette on 3 may and no af yet t....was resigned to it taking forever but maybe not as long as I thought. Fx

I'm not feeling too great today tbh. Some bad stomach pains, feel bit shaky. Perhaps the early start and general lack of sleep? Had friends over for dinner last night with their ds who is 9mths. He's all they talked about all night - maybe i shud tell her we've been ttc so she is bit more diplomatic. We were talking bout my wedding last year and she was sayin how she'd loan me 'what to expect when you're expecting'....and I'm not even expecting yet! I didn't cry, very proud of myself.

I had no symtoms tho am spotting brown goo just a tiny bit and its making scared anyone else experienced this x

purple, am just checking but are symptoms like sensitivities and sore boobs really imaginary? i'm only 4-5 dpo so i know that there's no way that i can be having real symptoms, but i could have sworn that i've never had sore boobs, vague feelings of nausea and sensitivity to smells before ttc..

I think I am having a phantom pregnancy, I keep feeling nauseous but it would be way too soon to have morning sickness.

I am starting to obsess about early testing but those sticks are expensive, I really need to try and be patient (but it's so hard!)

Pixie sorry you're not feeling too good, hope you're better soon. It's so crap when others fall pg at the drop of a hat or babble on about their own stuff without even thinking about being sensitive... My SIL has just announced she is pg, nuff said! (although of course I am over the moon for her and her BF).

As for the festy, it's a good silver lining to have. And I'm only going if it's not going to be a mud fest. We did three camping festies last year and ALL of them were knee deep mud, urghh!

Lee I refuse to acknowledge symptoms as I have had everything, and loads of stuff that I never had before ttc, and it's never meant a sustained pg so I try my hardest to ignore everything. If I ov'd on Tues I'm only 2dpo which is far too soon to be getting any symptoms at all, let alone morning sickness (which I never had when pg with ds). I think my body just likes playing tricks on me and getting my hopes up, even when I am studiously ignoring it! Hope yours mean you are upduffed tho
