We are onto daily DTD as I am due to ov between today at the earliest and Wed at the latest, based on my v regular 28-30 day cycle. Am temping but am I right in thinking that temp rise is immediately after ov, so I'll know when it's happened but not before? Have left my TCOYF book at home in an effort to not carry round a big book that essentially says 'look, we're TTC!' So can't check.

I only started using digi OPKs last cycle and they are so much better than cheaper non digi ones

I worried I wouldn't get a smiley as well but I did eventually get one on cd20 (34 day cycle).

I'm currently on cd5 and will start using the OPKs on cd10.

I will ovulate this month around DH's birthday.. We have both booked a week off work... We don't have any plans... Just wanted some time off! So will dtd lots and hopefully get a BFP soon!

My tests told me to start using the opks on day 13, that's not till Sunday.

red & londa - I agree, roll on the 2ww; the first half of the cycle is a bit dull, although good to have a bit of a break from obsessive symptom spotting!
thats - I use preseed to, quite like it, although DH always moans that coz I bought it on the Internet it's probably dodgy stuff that is doing us no good.
dosney - fab costumes!!. What are they for? Just for fun or is it work-related?

I've started the grapefruit juice thing, just to see if it works (plus I love grapefruit juice so it's a good excuse really). Will let you know if I see any difference. It would be nice not to have to use preseed but I doubt I'll be o lucky.
Have also booked in to have some reflexology when I get back from my hols. I'm due AF/BFP the day I get back so as well as having post holiday blues I could also be suffering the misery of AF so I thought I should book in a few treats / ttc plans so that I'm not a miserable wreck if I don't get BFP. (Although am secretly hoping that the vast amount of DTD I plan to do on holiday will guarantee me a BFP!)

The costumes are for fun someday I'm part of an amateur theatre group and we sometimes get hired as entertainment for corporate events.

Ohhhh...I hope I haven't missed my window this month. Was meant to dtd last night but came home very late and fell asleep before I had a chance to seduce dh. I'm on CD11 but my cycle was only 25 days last night so I might have left things a bit late. I did manage a quickie before dh went to work this morning though. Why didn't I buy any ovulation sticks?

Ok. ..I counted wrong. CD 10 not CD 11, so hopefully I'm still in time. My cycle is usually 27 or 28 days. Last month was a bit of an odd one. Must dtd lots over the next few days to be sure

Ninunina it sounds like you should be ok, I had a normal 28 day cycle last month so fx it's the same this month, using opk's to make sure though

Hi again guys. I'm afraid to say I am re-joining you. Got a BFP on the June bus but it didn't work out.

So not sure how long this cycle will be. I'll go with the usual length for the sake of ease. And seen as last month technically worked, I'm still calling it cycle 1!

DH and I are still on silent DTD duty, staying at relatives. Feel like a couple of teenagers! And no temp rise yet, so daily sneaky DTD for another couple of days at least

Fox sorry to see you here, but hopefully this month will be another BFP, but a slightly stickier one. I had a V v early MC (scarcely more than a CP) between DC1 and 2, and it did throw my cycles off a surprising amount, but I think I was unusual, most people go back to normal immediately.

Disney That seems a bit late to test, is it because your cycles are longer or you ovulate at the same time every month? I would perhaps start a day or two earlier just in case you ov earlier than expected.

Although maybe the test gilly is using is the one that measures oestrogen as well and need to be used earlier in advance than those that just measure LH.

My cycles seem to be about 30 days (I don't trust them to be regular yet!) and the wee information sheet tells me for 39 days to start testing from CD13. I might start on Fri just in case. I'm out every evening this week so I wouldn't really have time to test anyway unless I did it just before I go to bed (my instructions also said it's not great to test with FMU because you can get a build up of LH overnight whether your ovulating or not)

Fox, sorry to hear that.

I'm so nervous. Dh goes away tomorrow so we need to dtd tonight and tomorrow morning. We dtd last night but never got round to it on Sunday. I think I ov tomorrow or Thursday so fingers crossed.

I don't trust my cycles enough at the moment so I use OPKs from cd10.
I use clearblue digis which say to use with fmu and last month I got my smiley on cd20 and my cycle was 34 days long. So seems about right (14 day luteal phase).

In other news, AF has now officially been and gone so let the fun begin!!

My sister is having her 12 week scan this afternoon (me and mum are the only ones that already know). Got everything crossed for her! This will be her second baby (her first is 18 months old)

Really gonna go for it this month!

Time between AF and ov is almost as bad as the 2ww! I just want to get on with it!
