Apprentice I had random months when TTC DC2 when I ovulated lated (and in one case, not at all Shock), was maddening, but better to be forewarned of late ovulation than have false pg hope when af is late.

We are off to visit relatives next week when I Ov (although hoping it might be the day before we go).Thankfully they have a big house so will be able to risk quiet dtd if necessary.

Just done my first ever smiley opk. And it didnt work Hmm

I thought i did it right but then it didnt start flashing... Any tips ladies?! Not going to waste another now so will try again later on or tomorrow. I did an internet cheapie aswell and that was still -ve so i think im ok yet

So I reckon I'm ovulating anywhere between 3 days ago and the 19th/20th so trying to dtd every day. If nothing happens this month then I will get some opks and see if that helps! My last 2 cycles were 44 days long so I'm working on that basis.

Im confused.com (tmi) this morning when I wiped there was slight steaking but now nothing, I pit a pad on & there's nothing on it. The other day I had killer heartburn which I never get & felt a bit sickly last night. I've got no cramps etc. Bloody body. I hate not knowing what's going on. I just want af to show properly so I can start dtd.

First timer here, hi! We've started TTC this week and while I told myself I wouldn't even really think about it for a month (just come off the pill after 4yrs) one can't help but wonder, possibly, maybe, could it be...hope to have good news soon!

the smiley OPKs are a bit tricky as you need to push it in properly and then there is some kind of sign that shows up telling you the stick is ready . Sometimes you push it in and it is fine but when you take the cap off, it kind of detaches itself, so make sure "ready" sign is on before you use the stick.

Which ones are you using? I am using Clear blue ones, they are brill, really easy to use, not cheap though Hmm.

Mind you, I really have to focus concentrate when I POAS, as once I manage to pee on it with the cap still on! what a waste Grin

Thanks sunshine im using the clearblue ones aswell. £17 for 10 off amazon. I could only find 7 packs inthe shops for the same price so at least its a bit of a saving.

Somewhere i read anytime between 10am -10pm, somewhere else says some people find it easier to use fmu rather than holding on for hours. So its hard to tell when is the best time Hmm i waited until the ready thing was showing but it never flashed. Maybe it came loose, or it wasnt exactly flat (it was on the toilet seat so may have been angled a bit) i may never know!

Hi can I hop on board? AF appeared today. No idea of cycle length but guessing at potential BFP around mid July.
I've brought my crochet in case it's a long wait and some Biscuit 's. I've also snuck on some Wine in a not so classy bottle-in-paper-bag combo if anyone, still hosting the witch, would like to share.

Think I'll give the digital opk's a try next month if we have no joy using the ic's this month, sounds much easier than trying to decide if the lines are the same on these ones. My af has almost left now, time to get the legs waxed and get on with the fun part of the month Smile

A question for those of you using OPKs. I've less than no idea what I'm doing with them ...how long before ovulation might I expect a positive? I think I should of in the next couple of days so should I get two lines soon? (I think this may be a stupid question with an obvious answer Blush)
