I am well and truly on the July bus now... Stats are ttc #3 cycle 2 bfp due 16th July.
Am going to attempt to not tune in to every single body niggle this month... Far too depressing when it turns out they must have all been in the head!

Sorry there are a couple of new folk who've had MC/MMC. I've had one v early MC, but at least I knew it was happening - I have The Fear of getting to 12 weeks to find there's a problem then. Might stump up for an early scan this time (did with DC1, didn't with DC2) at about 10 weeks for some reassurance.

Aw, I'm sorry Gilly but yay!

Jelly I'm sorry to hear about your chemical pregnancy (or rather vanishing pregnancy?). Did the doctors tell you if this is unusual? It must be awful to see that bfp and for it to be taken away from you before you even have a chance to think about it. I guess this is why doctors think we shouldn't be POAS at 9 dpo (guilty!).
I've told myself I'll be different this month. I was so convinced that I was pg last month that I was testing way too early. I even thought I saw a faint line too, but I guess I must have been seeing things.
Hopefully July will be BFP month! Happy snagging everyone

Thanks - yes, she said it's unusual that I haven't bled and I think until I do I won't quite accept that the pregnancy has ended. But I'm sure we'll be luckier soon, am thinking more that I just wasn't successful last month.

My lo who will be 4 tomorrow has just informed me that he won't be happy if we don't get 2 babies the next time, lol. Don't think mummy would cope with that, it's coz he has 11 month old twin cousins who he is obsessed with, they are adorable but I'm exhausted after just looking after them for a night never mind full time, lol

Ok I'm having one of those 'I think I'm actually going to go crazy if i dont get pregnant soon' days. What's worse is that this time of month (AF) is actually when I'm usually at my calmest as initial disappointment turns into renewed optimism but I'm just not feeling it this month. I think things are difficult because I'm unemployed - also having no luck job hunting and it just seems everything in my life is about waiting and let downs at the moment. I feel terribly guilty because I already have a gorgeous daughter and know many people struggle to have even one child. Also feel awful because it's only cycle 8 so I really shouldn't be at this stage yet. Went to doctor today and he's going to give me blood tests (due to spotting) but I've realised I'm away when day 21 falls so will have to wait another month. However, I should be feeling positive that they're booked at all right? Also have ultrasound booked for Tuesday so that's positive. Is anyone able to knock some sense into me and tell me I need to get a grip?! My OH told me last night I need to find a book to read instead of mumsnet as he thinks it's making me worse(!)

Sorry for the rant . Kept nearly ringing friends/mum but then couldn't face them knowing just how desperate I'm feeling so this was the only place to turn to.

P.s Linda your post about the twins made me chuckle. My DD keeps constantly asking me if there's a baby in my tummy and if 'mummy laid an egg' (she has book with that title), I think due to numerous friends being pregnant. It does make me laugh despite also rubbing it in somewhat!

Haha Captain, has mummy laid an egg made me giggle aswell, lol. They can be so sweet. I'm feeling a little like you just now and I'm only on cycle 2 of trying again Think everyone goes through those emotions especially after 8 months. I was 37 before I got pregnant with my 1st and it took a year with my 2nd My pal just had a little girl at the start of the week, unplanned and on the pill, she's gorgeous but I'm extremely jealous coz she got pregnant without trying and I know I'm in for a struggle I know I shouldn't be feeling that way coz I've got my 2 boys but can't help it. Think I'm so desperate as we are only trying for 6 months then that's it, no more babies

I've only been on here a month or so Captain and I think Mn could easily be our worst enemy as well as a good source of support/help/info. Even I am finding it difficult sometimes with feeling a bit down when you see someone else has got their BFP and I've only been TTC for 1 cycle! Maybe it would do you some good to take a few days off (and read a book or) go out for cocktails with your pals or your OH, cinema, dinner a walk. Just anything to keep your mind off Mn and babies!

I've never read 50 shades and never will, I read an excerpt and... -shudders- no thanks. Besides you can get way better 'romances' than that and for cheaper too (if you have kindle)

Yeah I downloaded it last year and only read up 2 chapter 10, not my cup of tea but heard folk raving about it. I'm a thriller/horror kinda girl

Evening all. Sorry to hear about people sfrustrations and lots of empathy for you. My story is that we have been trying for number 2 siince January and getting impatient. My oh is nt getting any younger (he's 47 and I'm 35) and he also has3 older kids so this would be his fifth. We have decided to give it til Xmas and then will perhaps just leave it. We are blessed with our ds aged two who has a lot of sibling love . Oh would be happy to leave it at that understandably but agreed would be good for ds and would fulfill my broodiness. Hoping for a bfp soon so a narrower age gap but just need to see. I guess everyone's got their own set of issues about ttc and swapping stories on here can be both helpful and difficult to hear (I will admit to green eyed monster when u hear of bfps when I'm feeling down but also feeling v happy inspired at other times) . X

On lighter note can anyone advise on opk testing? It's onlyy second month of using and I'm sitting here looking at a fricking circle again (may as well put a :( !) .IIt's CD15 and tested 24 hours ago but previously twice daily cycle v regular 28 days.. Last cycle ov d on CD14. No more pee sticks left nowso might get more or just abandon and keep shagging! Just wondered if it's poss to miss surge? Or just ovulated more irregularly than we think within a regular cycle iyswim. Anyone experienced irregular irregularly late ovulation?

Hmmm apprentice I didn't get my smiley OPK til cd20 last month but then again I had a 33 day cycle!
Get some more and keep testing!

Just adding myself. Confusing cycles meant I put myself on the June bus, but I should be here! It's only cycle 4 for me, but month 6 (I think). I'm going to say cycle 6 to avoid confusing people. Sorry to see some of you here from the May and June buses.

Hi disney this is my 10th cycle. Its been a lets see 10 months. But the past couple of months we've been trying harder but illness has been getting in the way grr. This will be our 1st child. If nothing happens over next couple of months ill be booking myself in the doctors. My LP is 12 days so im hoping the b6 will help there.
