Anyone like to join me on this journey of conception?! Going to start in May to ttc no 2

The impatient woman's book says some research shows a certain diet helps to Increase your chances of getting a boy or girl. Also, apparently dtd a few days before ov increases the chances of having a boy, whilst dtd on the day of ov means there's a higher chance of a girl. Opposite to the shettles method!

Shoe gal, if you're not able to detect ov on the cheap sticks, the cb ones are really good. But perhaps you can improve your reading of the sticks. Did they not get darker towards a certain day, even if it never was as dark as the control line?

That's brilliant golden I'm not sure how you load pictures on here but I have seen people do it.

It took two attemps yesterday but I eventually made an appointment for the 2nd of August that was the soonest I could get with the doctor I want to see but I'm calling them again on Wednesday to see if she's had any cancellations.

I know the first time I called the receptionist said there was no appointments until well into August. I could of had a sooner appointment but that would of been with a doctor I've never seen before. x

I bet you cant wait for tomorrow's fmu so you can dip the digital. Personally there's nothing better than seeing the words 'pregnant' on a digital test.

I did the digital test this morning, it indicates 2-3 weeks since conception. Im still a bit shocked to be honest, i definitely did not think it would happen during our firat cycle of trying!
I've been on a pregnancy calculator tool that dates the pregnancy from first day of last period as a dr would and have been given 1st april as a due date. It feels crazy.

My fingers are crossed for more BFP's from this thread very soon! Xxx

Just had a look on due date calc based on ovulation and it's saying 20/03.

If I go by date of last bleed it comes up as anything from 10-15/03, depending on what website I use. Some saying I'm as far along as 6weeks . I think the doctors base their calcs on date of last bleed and a typical 28 day cycle, even though I know my cycle is nothing like this.
