choc fret not, we all feel the same about the FB announcements, I know I do anyway. It's like a kick in the guts really knocks the wind out of my sails.

Ok, help pretty please, you ladies are the font of all knowledge and I need to drink from the font. I've been doing OPKs since sat which was CD10, now on CD13 and I have got a positive OPK, I wasn't expecting a positive till tomorrow or Thursday

Lol cleo 'only?!!! Good god woman that's plenty I should think! But with the opks it detects the surge b4 ov so you should be fine if you bd tonight. Good that you're gonna ov early, the 2ww can start quicker!! I'm not using them this month but you've put me to shame on the bd front. Best get busy 2nite lol

Choc I'm exactly the same about FB announcements - absolutely hate them.

Cleo Goodness me, where do you find the time or energy to do all that B'dancing?! From what I have read, the sperm can live for around 5 days in your body so you should definitely have plenty of swimmers left in you to catch the egg. And I agree with Choc, the OPK detects the surge before you ovulate. Good luck!

Lyndsey what a horrendous situation to be in. I cannot imagine how gutted that you must be your sister is aborting her baby when you so desperately want one.

Hi to everyone else.

Thanks ladies Grin I told my OH last night that it was sex week and he needed to save some energy as he had to rise to the challenge once a day until I told him otherwise....I would have made a fab sargent major lol. The looks he gives me are quite amusing. I just told him he should be careful what he wishes for, he always wanted to DTD more and he got what he wanted and then some Wink

Fine point re the 2WW choc, please slap me if I obsess more than usual Smile

LOL'ing at all the shagfest only stories. Still got af so it's still a knickers on week!!

Loving the new job, at least it gets me out of the house in the mornings and feeling like I am part of civilisation.

Same here for the FB announcements, particularly grating when off people who have zero maternal instincts and then cop for naturally conceived twins ........... twins I ask you ffs, enough to drive me to drink ........... Wine

Oh padster don't get me started my evil ex friend works as a reception teacher but has always been rubbish with kids and now she is expecting her second. She did always say she wanted to have kids so she didn't have to work....well she got her wish, he OH can't make her go back to work with two kids under 2. Nice work on her behalf I guess.
She also manages to work it so that her mug of a hubby still does all the shopping, all the cooking, all the decorating, sorts all the bills and paperwork, 90% of the cleaning, washing etc. Even though she works three days a week.....the word saint mug springs to mind. She tried to empathise about how stressful it was moving house, when all she did was pack, he did everything else. Was the other way round for me, I made the offers, dealt with the solicitors etc......grrrr.
Sorry rant over, as you can tell I am not her biggest fan.

Congratulations on the new job padster - I hope it continues to go well.

Cleo this is, hand on heart, a genuine question (I'm going to ask my doctor about it next week) but don't you start to feel sore if you have sex every day (or even twice a day) over a series of days?

I can't imagine doing it that often. I'm starting to wonder if there is something physically wrong? I know my uterus is lower than normal (so my cervix is more vulnerable to getting knocked) but even so...

Am I the only one with a low-stamina vagina?

No bridget you are NOT alone. I'm pretty similar to you too. Plus much to my DH's displeasure I'm not really all that into b'dancing Blush I also find that I'm prone to urine infections Angry

padster good luck with your new job.

Cleo In my relationship, I'm the mug who has to do absolutely everything as well as holding down a full time job..... just not fair!

Lol @ the conversation I've missed! Whilst we're on the subject I will ask a question Blush is it weird that I don't rly get any cm? Could this be a sign that something is wrong or why I haven't concieved? I remember when I was ttc with dd I had it & the difference in it throughout the month etc. Only now since I've been ttc that I realise its gone?! Wellll this is weird talking about this haha. But know u ladies are the experts x

london im glad im not alone in being the one doing EVERYTHING! On the plus side my boss approached me today saying he wanted to talk to me about a payrise....this is VERY unlike my penny pinching boss. So im quite chuffed Smile I started 19 months ago and this will be my third payrise....i asked for the other two though...im a cheeky bitch lol.

bridget thankfully I dont actually have that issue, i dont know if this helps but we have a deal that im on top one day him the next etc, i think that helps as we dont hit the same bits....if that makes sense. Strangely I used to find that more of an issue before we were TTC. Have you thought of trying lube? I started using conceive plus this month which has helped I think.

cleo good god woman, with those DTD stats you need not stress! Grin

chocon the CM front, Sperm to Egg (free on my kindle) said things like antihistamines and stuff can stop CM. you taking anything like that? but to help, there's an ingredient in certain cough medicines, guaifenesin, that because it helps mucus when you have a cold, also helps cm if you take it around ov. also primrose oil helps. and obviously conceiveplus if all else fails!

bridget do you get sore because you're dry? after i get +opks i get v dry and uncomfortable so makes DTD difficult

over helloooo, lovely sorry to see you again! we'll keep you up and dancing on the bus, dont you worry!

pads sigh, it's crazy how this sh** rolls.

i have had a good chat with a colleague who has been ttc for 3 yrs and now being referred to ivf. whilst hard for her it's sooo good to hear from someone who hasn't had instant bfp for a change as it's always kept so hush hush isn't it?
