We've filled out thread - I do hope you all find your way here. I can't add a message on the old thread to let you know it is here...Smile

This new thread, will no doubt have its own set of bfp's and babies. I am excited to see what it brings.

jbrd be careful as the greenish stuff signifies an infection, although it does seem that your body is sorting it out anyway...
dd nearly done, so will go and wee!

hopefulgum · 19/02/2013 09:54

Hurry up Deige's dd!!! I want to know, I want to know...(stamps feet)

Diege · 19/02/2013 10:08

Ok, the results are in...it's a bfp ShockConfused Shock. The line is fainter than the control but definitely there, even if held at arm's length. Came up in about 3 mins. First response was Grin but am now feeling a bit panicky.
Have to take dds and friend to cinema now so I can think it through in the darkness with Wreck It Ralph as background!

hopefulgum · 19/02/2013 10:14

OMG! I can't help it, Deige, I have to congratulate you! If your first response was Grin then I think everything will be alright, won't it? Of course you feel panicky. You weren't planning it, but I think babies have a way of finding us whether we are planning it or not Grin.

I am grinning from ear to ear, and crossing my fingers that all will be well, and that your DH will be happy too.

Oh..and I bags the next BFP so that Deige and I can be bump buddies Smile Smile Smile

Diege · 19/02/2013 10:20

Thank you Gum!!! I will have to try hard to keep this to myself. Of course there is a very high chance that things will go wrong (I'm being realistic) but I would prefer for dh never to know if that were the case I think. So I will just wait it out, see if my symptoms increase, STOP temping and weeing on my 49 sticks, UNLESS I see spotting. I'm so glad I have you lot Grin
Have to say Gum it did feel odd to think that there's a woman in Australia who was waiting for me to wee on a stick - I really wish you were next door! Fingers crossed for bump-buddydom Grin
Calendergirl I think you are due to test too?

calendargal · 19/02/2013 10:21

Congratulations Diege - I'm glad the first response was Grin It's like that flip a coin thing isn't it? Whatever the result, your heart will know what result you wanted. Somehow I knew yours would be a bfp. Lol at your ds drinking dirty water in the bathroom Shock

I would be testing today too (18DPO for me, which is when I've tested in the past) but my sticks are in the post. I am certain I am pg now - unless someone can come up with another reason for being 18DPO and no AF?? I am actually goggle-eyed with panic, because the timing is really poor - I'm aware of the irony of joining a conception thread and then reacting like this to a potential pregnancy, but I honestly expected that it might take up to a year to conceive and that we had no time to lose.

Jbrd - commiserations on your sinuses. I am full of cold too - though nothing like as bad.

JBrd · 19/02/2013 10:25

Diege Thanks Thanks Thanks

Congratulations, great news! I'm so happy for you!

Well, then gum and calendargal eyes on you next Grin!

greenlizard · 19/02/2013 10:33

Oh good luck diege I have every thing crossed for you.

greenlizard · 19/02/2013 10:37

Stupid phone! I was responding to your post about going to test and after I posted it updated the news!! Massive congratulations - I am so thrilled to you! Clearly was meant to be x

greenlizard · 19/02/2013 10:38

Ps. calendergal I really don't know how you can bear the suspense waiting for tests in the post!! You are a stronger woman than I. Do you temp at all?

calendargal · 19/02/2013 11:04

greenlizard, yes I temp - that's how I know I am 18dpo. For my last two pgs I have tested at 18dpo and known that I was pg before getting the +ve test. As soon as I go over my LP I know I am pg - although LP has been a bit weird lately. I would def be testing now if I had tests in the house - as it is, I have a fatalistic feeling about it...

Diege · 19/02/2013 11:07

Thanks for the flowers and thanks guys Grin. Calendargirl I agree that if your temps are high 18dpo you are almost certainly pregnant. It's a shame you don't live next door too or I'd be hammering on your door with my bag o' tests Grin

calendargal · 19/02/2013 11:18

Grin I'd be hammering on your door for them!

Diege · 19/02/2013 11:22
Grin
TinaO99 · 19/02/2013 11:30

just popping on to say congratulations to Diege fantastic news!! And really sorry to Isabeller for the bfn, hope the frozen cycle goes well

CaliBee · 19/02/2013 11:41

Lovely news Diege...so pleased for you.

Lots of BFP's for now. Its lovely...x

MarthasHarbour · 19/02/2013 14:01

sorry i didnt come on here last night but had a banging headache and had to go to bed early Angry

oohhh diege massive congratulations! Grin it IS good news, we always make the best of things - and i also believe things happen for a reason. Aaaand it is textbook that you and DH had decided that you were 'taking your eye off the ball' so to speak. Its like all the annoying fecker grannies say 'oo once you relax it will happen'

notsoold · 19/02/2013 16:02

Congratulations Diege!!! :) :) :)

sparklysapphire · 19/02/2013 17:24

Diege, congratulations! I know this wasn't planned, so I hope you (& your DH when you tell him) really are ok with it, & can get your head round it soon.xx

CaliBee · 19/02/2013 17:50

martha I often wonder what he sees in me too. Have to say though....he's not your average 23 year old, he has definately "been here before" and I often find myself wondering who is the more mature one in the relationship Blush.

So tomorrow is 4 weeks to the day since my mc. I feel sad and just a little bit poo today. The whole 6 weeks that I was "pregnant" now feels like a dream where you cant quite remember all the details. It's so lovely seeing others getting their BFP's but at the same time I cant deny just a little stab of pain. I wonder if my bfp was a one and only...the very very very small chance that the consultant told me about last October?? Oh dear I'm sorry..the mood is good on here just now. I may have to lurk awhile.

isadorable · 19/02/2013 21:43

Awww congratulations to all the positives, whether hoped for or unexpected! Cali don't lose the faith... And we oldies have lots to offer. I can see it must be tough just now though. Well, we've jumped back into trying in a manner of speaking - don't think this will be our month but dp just got a job finally and we're moving at the weekend so things are good. Congrats to sparkly too, though I no longer have any polite words for your husband.

isadorable · 19/02/2013 22:09

Sorry forgot to say welcome to all the newbies! And heartfelt commiserations to Isabeller in particular and of course to anyone else who is feeling low.

MiaAlexandrasmummy · 19/02/2013 22:46

Dropped in and saw the lovely BFP news for Diege Grin, but also sending Thanks to Isabeller and those of you who are hurting.

Really appreciated the alternative views about when to ttc again after having had 2 c-sections, I was very encouraged, as my cycles seem to have already come back.

And finally... just to offer a ray of hope to say that my 45-year-old friend is 4 weeks away from having her naturally conceived first child.

Italiangreyhound · 20/02/2013 00:21

MiaAlexandrasmummy have I missed some news from you???

Diege congratulations.
