Happy new thread! Here's hoping for lots of Christmas and new year bfp's, and long healthy pregnancies for everyone. Smile

No, have never bothered with opks as we don't really have an issue getting pg (yet) its staying pg that seems to be the problem!

I think I have actually just gone nuts. Great.

Thundercatsarego · 22/01/2013 12:21

Ok pink I'm going to take decisive action. I'm either going to give you the stern talk, the sympathy or the slap- which would you prefer?

IBelieveInPink · 22/01/2013 12:47

Definitely not sympathy. Had to much of that I that is possible. So either of the others.... braces self for slap

chocolateteabag · 22/01/2013 12:53

Hi Mrs Hende - my first AF post MC had it's "fun" moments Grin I thought of it as a nice spring clean.

Am now CD12 and finally my CB Fertility Monitor has given me my first "fertile high" day Grin But as we are down to 1 car (my Golf is pants in snow), it is limiting shopping freedom and we have no Grapefruit juice! (Way back in this thread I'm sure it was recommended for ttc-ing) So now obsessing about my lack of freedom to reach a decent shop! Hoping to sledge drive out tomorrow.

Pink lol - stop over thinking - cramps could just be wind.

Thundercatsarego · 22/01/2013 12:56

Ok you can have both- they go well together.

Right missus. You are not going mad. You are doing what I do far too much, which is allowing yourself to get sucked into the cerebral vortex of thinking and worrying too much about things that are beyond your control. You have done everything you can to make this work and now you have to find a little bubble of peace in your head to let your body try its best to get sorted out.

After having a freaking day yesterday I'm going to try my best to stop you from doing the same today. Is there anyway you can break the worry cycle now to get a bit of space for your head and perspective? Best remedy I'd say is have a completely unrelated natter with a fun person. Just a quick chat with a mate? help you get your feet back in the ground.

Rant over- I don't know if that helps at all but I had to do something!

IBelieveInPink · 22/01/2013 13:02

Aw. Thanks. I know that was meant to be a stern talk, but I appreciate it loads :)

And chocolate- Lols at wind. :)

I am actually manic at work today, but is hard to ignore it. Will send mysel to the gym tonight and will do no more thinking!!

Thundercatsarego · 22/01/2013 13:09

Ha! chocolate sums up my supposed stern talk in 3 words- could be wind. Love it! try and absorb yourself in work and have a good workout tonight fill your brain with other stuff if you can.

Seriously chocolate though, I don't think grapefruit juice is worth panicking about plus it tastes like shite just pick some up next time you can but put your energy into getting some sperm into the right place Wink

yorkiebilb · 22/01/2013 13:26

chocolate I had a grapefruit panic last night! Ridiculous isn't it? I went to Tescos last night and stumbled across what I thought was the correct juice and bought with glee as it was on offer. Got home all pleased until i realised I'd bought pineapple juice. My Dh told me that I'd bought the wrong one - how the hell did he know that?! Grin

thunder can I line up for a slap as well?!

Thundercatsarego · 22/01/2013 13:28

Ok yorkie

SLAP

You're all nuts.

And I'm obviously incredibly sane. Grin

chocolateteabag · 22/01/2013 13:38

Grin - I am supposed to be listening to an incredibly "interesting" Webconference - clearly not!

I am also obsessing about lack of chocolate. We finished the Lindor (DH makes me ration them) on Sunday night. Only have DS's white chocolate cow (which I cannot touch) and some Percy Pigs in the house. Need to get milk from village shop later, but they know me in there and so feel bad to always be buying chocolate. Tell me it's in my head and they are just glad of my £ rather than judging what I buy? (which will be the large bar of fruit & Nut on offer for £1 - and yes will eat it all before 5pm!)

This is why I have to get to work tomorrow - need other people (in RL) to keep me from going mad!

Thundercatsarego · 22/01/2013 13:43

chocolate I'm sure they don't give a flying do do fig what you buy, they just want your money. I'm still feeling the working at home pain but I have some external meetings today too which definitely help the sanity. Hope yours gets better soon.

You've made me want chocolate too now.

A girl at work has made a massive chocolate cake - must resist the urge to eat it all!

Oh and saw earlier that what I actually bought was pineapple and coconut juice! What on earth do I want with a non alcoholic pina colada?! - it tastes disgusting.

TTC offically makes us all nuts - I think we should just accept this!!

Thundercatsarego · 22/01/2013 15:59

Mmmmmmmm Lindt.

Mmmmmmmmmm cake.

Mmmmmmmmm alcoholic piña coladas. Get a bit of rum in there girl!

JBrd · 22/01/2013 16:06

I really want some chocolate now, darn you all! Had to make do with a WeightWatchers Dark Toffee bar, which doesn't even come close.

Agree that ttc can make you crazy! Lol at the fish slapping Grin

First day back at work for me today (boo). But actually, it wasn't as bad as I thought it would be, once I got here after a mental journey on icy roads and freezing fog. Trying to get rid of the cobwebs now - already had 3 coffees.

But on a much more positive note - I tested this morning, and it was negative, yay! A lot sooner than I expected, it's only been 10 days since my EPRC. I can't remember the last time I was this happy about a BFN, it feels as if I can now finally turn a corner and start looking forward Smile.

GardenWorm · 22/01/2013 16:17

Decided all this talk can mean only one solution: eat chocolate.
ibip I'm one of those idiots that doesn't like 'bothering' drs unless I have limbs falling off etc etc and will therefore justify in my head many reasons to put off a trip to the real life one. Stupido! Gonna give it one more go, full on humpathon!
thunder I'm as crazy as the rest of us, I can have any number of symptoms if I really use my imagination.
Chocolate. Nom, nom, nom....

chocolateteabag · 22/01/2013 16:58

Ugh feel sick now - just wolfed a large Fruit and Nut bar

I seriously have no will power AT ALL

Definitely have to brave the crappy weather to go to Zumba tonight now

Thundercatsarego · 22/01/2013 17:09

GREAT news about the bfn jbrd. I totally understand the feeling of being able to move on now with it.

garden is it humpathon o'clock in your cycle now?

chocolate you need to replace 'teabag' with 'monster' in your name?

I am currently fighting the urge to get pissed off again. No af. No bfp. Didnt shag enough this month so no hope there. Just want to move on. Need positive thoughts!

IBelieveInPink · 22/01/2013 19:36

Damn!! Was doing so well, busy afternoon, good work out at gym. Got home to find my cheaply amazon cb digis have arrived ready for end of month poas! Now have to look at them for eleven eight days!!

Thundercatsarego · 22/01/2013 19:38

An I right in thinking they don't pick up hcg earlier than af due, pink? clutches at straws

IBelieveInPink · 22/01/2013 19:59

Did last time. Day before af. But still, I have plenty of Internet cheapys to waste use first. Just doesn't help to know they are there waiting

How you feeling now? Any better?

Thundercatsarego · 22/01/2013 20:02

Totally understand that. They'll be whispering at you with their tiny voices peeeeeee on meeeeeee I bet they have geordie accents

Yeah ok thanks

IBelieveInPink · 22/01/2013 20:09

Exactly.

Glad you feeling better. Not sure I entirely believe that, but I get when it feels like you just can't go over it any more. We all know the one thing that will cheer us all up! aside from a bucket of wine and mountain of choc

chocolateteabag · 22/01/2013 20:34

thunder not to give you false hope but I found CB digi's to be vv unsensitive. Only got my BFP on evening on DPO14 after Poas ing at 10,11&12 and getting nothing. I have seen people on here getting similar

I will investigate a name change Grin
