Here we go Brookers, it's been a long year with lots of BFPs and newborn snuggles for the Brookers. We're just a sleigh-ride away from 2013, when the rest of us will get our get our 12 week scans (because of course we will all have BFPs under the christmas tree this year!)

So come all ye brookers, it's tinsel and baubels all the way!

Geek we're not far away, obviously, I've just had to walk home (2 hours) and then we've had to dig front door free, flipping 12 inch flipping snow drift!!!

Wow sparks what a difference a few miles makes! Our back door has a nice big drift against it though, ain't no cats coming in that there door!

and sparks should you even be walking for 2 hours in this weather in your coniditon???

Not much snow to report here. A light dusting has not thawed since last weekend. Expecting more overnight.

Our snow has really just started, we have had some for a day or two but this afternoon it has got worse. DH has been sent home so we have just been for a lovely snow walk :)

Yes don't worry Mrsparks dumped the car at home then met me half way, soon as I saw him I relaxed, he carried my bag home and then ordered me in to comfy clothes (his hoody is my fave at the mo) and has been faffing round me all afternoon!!

Keep our kitties have been acting most perculiar, they run out in to the garden dive round for 30 secs (can barely see them it's that deep in the drifts) then they run in crying like its our fault that its snowing!!!!

Oh and keep? Hormone headache?!?! Symptom for sure!!!

Just popping in to let you all know my very luffly gp has agreed to send me for blood tests for recurrent miscarriage. I only asked for the sticky blood ones but she put them all on the forms. She was so nice & understanding. I have to take the results to the consultant as she isn't specialised enough to interpret them, fair enough I suppose. I feel so relieved now

sweetie that's amazing news! So pleased your GP was able to arrange that for you, and that you will get the whole rake of the tests done. That will surely put your mind at ease before your IVF.

sparks I'm so relieved to hear you didn't have to walk all that way on your own, what a nightmare! Is it still snowing where you are? Ours stopped at somewhere between 5 and 7 inches but I keep checking the forecast to see when it is due to start again.

boo how's your snow? Do you normally get quite a lot? I always imagine the north getting loads of snow!

Well I'm sitting here with a glass of pinotage, trying not to listen to MrG being violently ill upstairs Today he's had a hypo, a hyper and D&V. Not the best start for his weekend. I've packed him off to bed with a bucket and a glass of water, having checked that his blood sugar is now in the right ballpark. I don't make a very good nurse I'm afraid.

Poor MrG Geek hope he feels better soon, that does not sound like fun

Sweetie what a lovely gp you have, it will be so reassuring doing those tests before your ivf. I have an appointment with my gp next week as the new clinic has listed a whole range of tests required on their registration form, so hoping we will be able to get a lot of them done on the NHS.

Keep I'm good thanks, I'm afraid it's just a waiting game for us now so trying not to get anxious about it all. We had our lap follow up last weekend and the consultant said he will write us a referral for the new clinic so we thought we would wait until we got that and send it along with all our registration paperwork. It may be another 6 week wait after that to get our appointment, sigh!

Lots of snow here and the walk in it with DH was fun, not sure how I'd feel about it in the next few days when it becomes icy and grim, quite likely cursing it! Have a good weekend everyone, I'm just hoping we can still get out about for some of the stuff we have planned this weekend...

solars do you get another NHS round then? Assume so, if you're having to wait for the appointment. All the waiting is so tiresome but gives time for an ironic bfp remind me why you're changing clinic?
