Old Fred here

Here we go Brookers, it's been a long year with lots of BFPs and newborn snuggles for the Brookers. We're just a sleigh-ride away from 2013, when the rest of us will get our get our 12 week scans (because of course we will all have BFPs under the christmas tree this year!)

So come all ye brookers, it's tinsel and baubels all the way!

Withalittlesparkle · 13/01/2013 12:35

NewYearNewBoo · 13/01/2013 12:45

Yy to dream symptoms, I posted about a dream I had where I had given birth to a lovely little girl and the brookers were the mw's 3 or 4 days before mw BFP! I think it was Maybe who said it was a Diffed dream

Ooh we need to add dreams to the 2ww symptom spotting list!!

keepitgoing · 14/01/2013 10:05

face not long till your scan; hang in there!

Any news on appointments from others? beedle maybe cups geek?

cartoontrickster · 14/01/2013 10:13

I keep panicing and rushing to the loo cos I feel erm damp (sorry) but just seem to have an excess of cm!
how are you keep? will the symptom spotting start soon?

SweetieTime · 14/01/2013 10:22

cartoon I am also frequently knicker checking as I have been taking meds for a week which are supposed to bring on af. No sign yet. I am sure your, ahem, dampness is totally normal

keep how are you feeling? Any symptoms to report? You know how we all love a symptom Wink

Nothing much to report here, just waiting for af and drinking loads of water to counteract hormone drugs side effects. Oh and it is snowing here so dh said he will finish work early so we can take pup for a walk in the snow - - yes he does act like a ten year old Grin - -

cartoontrickster · 14/01/2013 10:30

oh how lovely a dog walk in the snow! how annoying about af sweetie never comes when you want her! how long should the meds take to work?

NewYearNewBoo · 14/01/2013 10:42

Face I spy another symptom!!!!! Being a little damp think dripping tap is normal for you now!

Sweetie not normally brooking for this, but I hope AF turns up soon.

Keep any odd dreams? Abundance of cm? :):)

NoMaybeAboutIt · 14/01/2013 11:09

Morning all.

Face it's totally understandable you are knicker checking. But panic not, all will be well Smile

Sweetie how annoying. I hope AF turns up soon. The pup will love the snow. Otis can't get enough of it. I wish it would hurry up and snow here!!

Keep how you feeling? Shiny sperm should be well and truly at one with the golden egg by now Grin

No news re appointment. Do you think it would be too pushy if I called the clinic directly to check they have actually got the referral?

cartoontrickster · 14/01/2013 11:24

one phone call can't hurt maybe I'd do it.
looks like my symptoms are coming along then. thanks for reassuring me boo. just would like some sore boobage please. my mum is worried that there not sore. I need to try and put her mind at rest too.

BeedlesPineNeedles · 14/01/2013 11:31

sweetie we love walks in the snow, and its not exactly uncommon here :o Tis snowing at the moment in fact!

face don't worry I'm sure the sore boobs will come - you're only about 6 weeks aren't you. Soon you'll be on here telling us about teh sore boobs and the all day sickness etc etc :o

maybe no harm in making a phone call - I made MrB phone up our clinic last year to find out when our first appointment would be. actually I'm quite tempted to phone them and find out when our next appointment will be!

cartoontrickster · 14/01/2013 11:42

beedle not even that! it feels a life time already but actually I'm 5wks on Wednesday. early testing is the devil makes it seem so much longer unfortunately I had to though to start the meds in time. I keep having to remind myself even how early it is!

Withalittlesparkle · 14/01/2013 12:28

face welcome to the delights of pregnancy!!! My first few weeks I constantly felt I was 'on', it's dried up a bit now but there's still an amazing amount of CM!!!!

maybe absolutely chase your appointment up, you've been waiting long enough now!!

NewYearNewBoo · 14/01/2013 12:36

Aah Sparks don't get too used to your 'dry spell' Wink I have done emergency pant checks a couple of times in the last week or so Blush

Maybe I would make the call, it can't hurt.

BeedlesPineNeedles · 14/01/2013 13:09

Face I was going to say 5 weeks then I thought you must be more than that! You poor thing you're going to have the world's longest pregnancy! So there's more than enough time for the symptoms to appear :o

cartoontrickster · 14/01/2013 13:16

glad my cm is normal sparks that's exactly how I feel. beedle I know longest pregnancy ever! I'm going to feel like an elephant, arent they pregnant for a year?

Withalittlesparkle · 14/01/2013 13:41

face think elephants carry for two years but I could be wrong!!! It'll all come good in the end!!!

boo cheers for the warning!!!

cartoontrickster · 14/01/2013 16:07

bloody hell glad I'm not an elephant!

SweetieTime · 14/01/2013 16:39

Imagine giving birth to it Grin Grin Grin

ControlGeek · 14/01/2013 16:43

...and not just it kicking, but poking its trunk around inside you!

(quick post, busy day, just wanted to stick my head in)

NewYearNewBoo · 14/01/2013 16:44

I thought I had when I had Toddly boo (10lb 3.5 oz) hoping the theory of increasing birth weight with each pregnancy is wrong wrong wrong!!!!!!

Face as for the sore boobs, I don't think mine really started until about 6-7 weeks (possibly later than that, my mind ain't what it used to be Grin)

SweetieTime · 14/01/2013 18:59

Wowzer boo you haven't mentioned that before. You are seriously brave even thinking going through it all again. My eyes are watering just at the thought Grin

cartoontrickster · 14/01/2013 19:04

argh my legs are killing really achy today!
blooming heck boo that's a big un!

NewYearNewBoo · 14/01/2013 21:45

Grin yup, he was a proper chunky monkey when I had him :) all squishy cheeks and loveliness! He is still a big fella now :):)

keepitgoing · 15/01/2013 06:31

boo eek, that's huge. Was it a c section? Was he very late?

No symptoms here, but I am only 4days post iui... Dh is continuing to say 'should you do that/eat that, you might be pg'. I snapped at him yesterday that I'm not pg yet, am unlikely to be, and cannot live as pregnant for ever and have our hopes up. Argh.

beedle and maybe I think you should phone. Just to check. After all, how many tales of lost referrals have we heard...
