Hi! I am due my period in the next few days (I hope! that's a first ;)) then I will officially be ttc! Very exciting times...

So I thought I would start a nice friendly thread so we can go on our ttc journey together!!

I have been taking folic acid when I remember the last few weeks or so and came off the pill a few months ago.. I'm not entirely sure of my cycles yet, but think I'm due thurs or fri..

So come say hi! x

Oh London I'm so sorry you are going through a low patch at the moment and your sister's announcement won't have helped

Is it solely ttc related, or is it the stress of the impending move and your job stituation too? These cold grey winter days don't help either.

I wish I knew what to say to cheer you up.....please be kind to yourself and keep plodding on..I'm keeping my fingers crossed that lots of good things are waiting for you just around the next bend...

Thanks Petit & Bridget. How are you both doing? Had a good weekend?

I'm still very upset but I'm very much looking forward to welcoming AF........ she's 2 days late this month and after FOUR BFN I'd just wish she's hurry up and arrive! Talk about nature being cruel Sad

I really hope that March is THE month for me to finally get my BFP! I'm so ready to graduate to the pregnancy board.

May I join in to?

I had my coil taken out 28 Jan and AF arrive a couple of days later, so our first window was just this last weekend. DD1 will be 2 in May, and took 11 months to conceive. FX it won't take quite so long this time but I'm trying not to get too excited.

BJZebra how did the travel go? I'm gone 4 days a month (2+2) for work; the first few trips DD would see me on Skype and burst into tears. Now she's got used to it, and will chatter happily with 'flatscreen mama'.

Congratulations to everyone who just got their BFPs :-)

Hey, I'm just checking in with you all. I'm (not so) patiently waiting for AF (slightly irregular cycles go from 18-35 days...I'm on day 30 now) so my TTC cycle 1 can begin in earnest. I've just started a new job which is turning out to be brilliant so it's kind of made me think that if TTC takes a couple months to happen then things won't be so bad and I have stuff to occupy my mind. Don't want it to be too long though as I really want to have give birth by the time DS is 3 (he's 20 months now!).

girl welcome!
London Hope you're feeling a bit better.
Bridget Are you there? How's it going?

How is everyone doing?

Hi everyone. Just wondered if anyone had any tips on working out when Ovulation happens? I used OPKs on Sunday and yesterday and both were -ve so I am not sure if I was testing too early - don't want to waste them!! But I seem to remember when I was trying with DD that I rarely (never?!) seemed to get a +ve with them and probably just peed on them to give me some sense of control over the whole TTC process!

I have also read that ovulation is always 14days before AF - surely that must vary depending on cycle length?! Or is it the pre-ovulation bit of a cycle that is the variable bit?

My cycle started 4th Feb and is usually 24days long (give or take a day either way). Based on this I would expect AF again on 28 Feb, so 14days before that is 14Feb so a Valentine's day ovulation.

AF was finished on Sat, and we have DTD on Mon and Tue so far. I'm away overnight with work today so will try to DTD again on Weds pm and hopefully again on Thurs/Fri and the weekend too.

Think I am just asking for some reassurance that I am aiming for the right dates - so confused over when the best timing iis!!

Also, are headaches a sign of Ovulation? Have had a stonker since yesterday pm and it won't shift. Not aware of this previously but probably haven't studied every aspect of my body and health so much before!

winter hope that your waiting is over soon.

CD6 for me and looking forward to next week when I'm supposed to ovulate! Due to my previous history in difficulty in TTC my GP has booked me in for a scan to check my tubes as well as an internal examination. I'm so no looking forward to that! I've also got my 21 day blood test coming up. Do yep, I having an action packed month!

bridget I hope that you are keeping well. Take care.

Hey every one Thankyou Bridget and London big hugs xxx
Day went great apart from violently throwing up and I mean violently lol I have never seen sick like it sorry for tmi.

Well I'm good at the moment headaches come and go nothing like last time thank god! I had my 12 week scan last week but I'm actually 14 weeks today they were abit late with it. The sonographer was a total bitch sorry for my French I felt like strangaling her now I really understand y ppl hate the nhs grrrr, she was rude didn't show me nothing took her measurements which I felt she didn't even take time in that kept saying oh god wish this baby would just stay still lol I was going to shove her equipment were the sun don't shine, was not happy atall with her so I think I will be writing a letter of complaint.

Lol I'm back and all I'm doing is ranting but I will say my private scan was amazing he/she was playing kicking and there screen was so much clearer only if I could show you the quality difference.

London don't stress about your tests I'm sure everything will be normal and at least it will put doubts out of your mind if you do have any.
And we're here Big hug xxxxxx

Bridget how is your pregnancy going? Xxxx

And I fly out to ny next Monday so when I come back I will be revealing the sex oooh excited, all I hope is that everything just stays this way
All I hope for is a healthy pregnancy and baby and London would you like to try my cbfm your welcome to use it I'm really going to keep everything crossed that match is your month xxxxxx

Ok, I'm very confused. I wonder if anyone can give me some advice...

I think I ovulated on the 12th, because I had a small amount of ewcm. DTD, well, was DTD before and after that anyways. So, this morning I wake up with lots and lots of ewcm, much stretchier than when I thought I was ovulating. What's going on?! I was supposed to (according to my cycle anyway) ovulate when I thought I did, and AF is due monday. Could I be ovulating now?!

Hello all!
Thought I'd pop a little post on here, need some thoughts/advice potentially... currently have a 10 month old DS and my Hubby and I have been talking about ttc #2, not done that much about it ;) I'm still BF and last month AF came to visit (bit of a shock and she'd not been around for well over a year, but fortunately had some supplies in!) Anyway, 4 weeks later I get some blood, but a teeny, tiny amount - only when I wipe really - this is consitent for 4 days. I have no idea what it is, I am fairly unconvinced I'm pregnant, it's possible but pretty unlikely. Is it a sort of period but odd as I'm BF, or something else!???

any thoughts would be most welcome!

I'm raring to go - CD9 (after a stupid 37 day cycle last time) and gearing up for lots of dtd!

How is everyone else doing?
