Oh, the other fred filled up all of a sudden! Oh well here's a new one....(horse feel free to replace if you want to be fred starter, just didn't want everyone in limbo!)

Fred rules;

1. Thou shalt shag as much as humanly possible in order to get upduffed.
2. Thou shalt not partake of OPKs, temping, or charting.
3. Thou shalt keep symptom spotting to a minimum.
4. Thou shalt share and with your fredmates where needed.

JSing lingo;

ERTD = Evil Red Tide of Dooooooommmmmmm. Or AF to most others.
Pant snot = Egg white cervical mucus.
Doing a kitten = Getting upduffed soon after joining (warning: may induce in other posters).
Viroid = This is you, dear poster. The reason for this is a closely guarded secret, known only to....er....well, nobody as far as we can tell!
POAS = Pee On A Stick (of the pregnancy detecting kind, not from a tree). Also known as PIAR (Pee In A Ramekin - cos we're posh birds innit).
Shagging like something = JSing like a teenage nymphomaniac.
Giving a hooya = Giving a much needed slap to a fellow poster in danger of slipping into ttc obsession.

Oh sugar lumps Bear, sorry I completely misread your post!! Hurrah for DH being on board, for the sticks, but I think we've all used them at some point.
DH bought me a post mc ttc book, and in it, it explains that very few women have the typical 28 day cycle, ov on cd14 that is accepted as the 'norm'.
Looking at what I've done this month, I have a 30 day cycle, but don't ov until around cd20-22! Which might explain why I'm not actually pg.

I've had a horrible week, trying to support DD1 with a show she's doing this week, been helping backstage with dress rehearsal and opening night, got rather stressful! And my darling Grandma is in hospital following nasty op on her bowels (think its the C word but I'm going la la la in my head till I know for sure!)
So I'm afraid I've been letting the shagging slide a bit here, but a fresh cycle following the mc won't hurt and I give a girl guides promise that I'll try harder next month (I'll even banish my onesie!)

Well after being majorly down about not getting a BFP in my first month of trying my ERTD has finally gone and we are back to JSing! Hurrah!

Still keep getting anoyed at work colleague telling me all about his DPs pregnancy. Its not his fault, he is just excited! So jealous

This is probs a very supid question and tmi but after we have DTD quite alot of the baby making juice leaks out. Is this normal? Too used to using condoms!

country I think it is a pure gravity thing that causes the leakage, hence the tales of people laying with legs up in the air after the deed. I never did that, but did insist on DH making the post coital cuppas so at least I was horizontal.

country I sypathise with you on the annoying work colleagues - half my office is upduffed at the moment, seriously you can't move for bumps it's ridiculous. If I hear "ooh kitten it'll be you next" one more time I may actually scream! And yes, post JS leakage is perfectly normal :) try sticking a pillow under your bum for a bit to keep it in a bit better. And then make your DH sleep on the wet patch

Thanks for telling me that Gary - really useful to know. Everywhere you read on the 'official' sites that ov day for most women is day 13 or 14 of any given cycle but being on here and stalking other freds I've found that you and your clever book are right and that is not the case, so thinking I've been maybe relaxing and sliding off the wagon a bit too early. Maybe. Although we have just done it for fun on other days anyway.

Country - I think that's quite normal. Maybe stick your legs in the air or put a pillow under your bum after and that might help, but I find it comes out eventually anyway. I think lots is good as it means lots of activity and lots of swimmers. (Sorry if this is all TMI.)

I'm on cd16 wondering if I'm about to ovulate and hoping we've caught it this month. So I won't be part of Tuesdays peeing extravaganza. Gives me time to find something interesting to pee in though.

Country it's normal, if you have proper worn yourself out and just go straight to sleep, I find it all tends to collect, then when you go for a first morning wee... It can be a bit of a shock and one of my friends did actually go to the Docs about the mysterious discharge she kept getting...

bear yeah i did see that fred but think i stopped reading halfway as steam was starting to come out of my ears! Yesterday I honestly thought the ttc gods were having a laugh at me - it went like this;

• pg lady on bike next to me in spin class
• afternoon spent in meeting with 2 pg colleagues
• walk past 2 lovely bumps on way to station
• enormously pg lady opposite me on train, stroking her bump taunting me the whole way home
• text from friend saying "I've just had my baby!"
• text from different friend saying "would you like to come and meet my 10 week old on sunday?"
• DH, looking at pic of friend 1's newborn, says (jokingly) "grrr why haven't we got one of those yet?" followed by "shall we watch on OBEM?"

We snuck in a quickie yesterday between basting the turkey (I set the timer to 30 minutes on the stove, and off we went). bear, that's just crap on your friend's part, although I'm sure no hard feelings were meant. When my girlfriend was having a hard time getting pregnant, I remember opening my mouth and words falling out like, "it'll happen when you stop worry, blah blah blah." Now, I can totally relate to how she was feeling and wishing I'd kept my mouth shut as I was speaking of things I knew nothing about.

What's on tap for everyone's weekend besides lots of shagging? There was a James Bond marathon on here so we have been couch potatoes. Might go into NYC for a friend's band's show tomorrow, if we're feeling up to it. But first I still have a sink full of dishes (had a friend over tonight for Thanksgiving "lite" and made a mess all over again).
