yeah I know what you mean Nicola I too couldn't wait to get things booked. I think what I'm trying to say to Dulcet is don't let the pressure of bridal forums and magazines make you feel you are on some tight deadline when 11 months is actually quite a long time. Some of my friends are so lazy that they left things like the car and honeymoon until a month before...they got amazing bargains...although it did stress the bride out so I wouldn't recommend that either :) Very exciting Dulcet!! I take it you will be leaving the dress shopping for a few months? ;) I think the latest they let you order is 6mths before but there must be lots of options for brides with bumps nowadays!

Morning everyone! anyone else having server issues with Mumsnet?

ohhh weddings! - I had mine in June, but I was a lazy bride and left most of it up to my mum and mother-in-law! - opps! all very exciting though, I'm just not good at planning. Still not ordered a photo album yet come to think of it.

:( a few doctors appointments due, hope you all get the all clear!

Thanks peardrop. I really hope it's ok. I have no idea what could cause this apart from things that are really scary. I always think the worst but hope I am wrong.

The good thing is that I live abroad and can go straight to a specialist. They can run every test under the sun in the practice so hope I can get answers fast.

NickiNockiNoodle · 07/09/2012 12:16

That's useful, purple. At least you get quick answers. Where are you living?

Fx it is nothing to worth about.

peardrop2 · 07/09/2012 12:48

Purple I totally sympathise with you. It's really scary to not know what is going on! When did you have your last smear test? Maybe they will offer you one if and when you know for sure that you're not pregnant.

Still no bleeding, still no positive test either. And discharge has been more like it usually is pre-ovulation than post. Anyone else going to POAS yet?

Rachel I tend to assume it's fine to drink now and again but I've been avoiding getting actually drunk and spacing out by not drinking two days in a row. Though that's mostly because at the moment I'm convinced that I am and all the tests are wrong.

Purple we all do it! I feel like POAS is the only way I have of feeling like I have any control over this process. And maybe it will turn out to be implanation!

Report
peardrop2 · 07/09/2012 12:59

No, no POAS action from me! I really don't want to this time and I'm considering going to my appt on Tuesday without POAS but then that's a bit dumb isn't it to have an internal scan without knowing? Perhaps I'll have to buy a Superdrug one on Monday...don't want to waste anymore money on these damn sticks!

Think I may poas this weekend - that was the lightest AF ever, & there's something in my mind that keeps saying double check it was AF!! Think it'll be a BFN but at least I'll know for sure.

NickiNockiNoodle · 07/09/2012 17:46

Seems to be loads of really light AFs around...most odd. Fx, Raspberries. :-)

Thanks for the advice ladies. I was just shocked they had so much organised. I feel I have plenty of time though. Its not like i've done nothing, I have a date and a venue. lol. I have a car (freebie!) and I have contacted a cake lady and a caterer man but those are just discussions. I don't want to do it all at once though, want to enjoy it since it took so long to get here!

Not sure about the dress shopping pear. If it happens soon I can pop baby out before wedding! wishful thinking?

We need some results on this thread!! Answers, AFs or, preferably, BFPs!

Pear, could you ask for a test at your scan?

Thinking pizza tonight... Wink

Hi ladies. I had a glass of wine tonight...so needed! No, I haven't seen the other thread yet [wonders off to look]! Rachel I could ask for a test but I dare not in case she says she doesn't want to do the scan until I know for sure...nothing is making me miss the scan! So I'll go to Superdrug and get a silly test :-/

Lisa sorry hun. Bfn sucks big time :(

Oh did I tell you I brought the Zita West book second hand. It's an interesting read. Mentions non appearing AFs on several occasions which makes me feel reassured that it's not just me!

Mine was second hand too...still don't really like her, though she has useful info. Obsessed with EWCM which is all very well, but not everybody gets it and according to her, nothing else is reliable for detecting OV. Hmmm!

Good to see you Zombies!

Did you have a good night, Puppy?

Report
Talyra · 08/09/2012 07:35

Hi Zombies, I temp as well. It's nice to have that bit of extra info. I've only just started ttc but have been using it to tta for ages.

Period arrived properly this morning, so I didn't even test and am sat here sulking. DH and I deicided my womb has been proper trolling me this month - pretend implantation bleeds, random "symptoms". sadness

Oh well. Here's to June babies. And to ibuprofen, beer, hayfever tablets, not washing vegetables, brie, coffee, etc.
