DulcetMoans Nah, not feeling very hopeful for a BFP next week, don't feel preg lol not that I know what preg feels like... However, there is always next month! Like I say, not been trying all that long so in theory no rush!

peardrop2 · 06/09/2012 21:09

How many people do you think actually feel or have implantation pain/bleeding? I wonder if it's a very tiny amount :-/

OP posts:
NickiNockiNoodle · 06/09/2012 21:11

Apparently not many, Peardrop. But they say that about OV pain too, and most of us seem to get that in one form or another!

I need to do a list of questions for the doctor to find out if any of my usual symptoms signify problems. :-/

And 5 weeks on Sat for the wedding...arrrrghhh!

DulcetMoans · 06/09/2012 21:14

I read somewhere it was like 20% so its the minority at least pear.

You are at the paying stage then nic, boooo! haha. Are you excited?

NickiNockiNoodle · 06/09/2012 21:18

Yeah...all the small deposits were paid about a year ago, so now it's the large chunks of cash :-( And I'm buying all the bridesmaids' / ushers' presents etc. Never ending. I'm leaving Bri to sort the best man's gift though. That's a step too far for me. I've paid for his hotel room the night before, and I'm paying for the suits too. In fact, I'm paying for most of it with my parents, but that's just the way it goes, I suppose, as my earnings are more stable.

I am really excited now, it has to be said. 37 days to go. I can't believe how fast it's gone. :-)

peardrop2 · 06/09/2012 21:27

I have the biggest dot to dot spots going on my forehead Shock I reminded myself on the way home that this is why I didn't want to come off the pill close to the wedding!!

Ohhh so If none of us feel implantation you're saying there is still hope Grin

OP posts:
NickiNockiNoodle · 06/09/2012 21:33

I'm going to get some liquid antibiotic for my back as it's broken out since I came off the pill. My face is OK, thankfully! I've had it before, so that's something else to add to my doctor list. I need nice skin for the wedding :-)

Bloody hormones have far too much to answer for in my book!

peardrop2 · 06/09/2012 21:45

Hmm maybe I'll have to ask my doctor too. I feel really rubbish that I'm 30 with suddenly terrible skin :( its so not what I'm used to!

OP posts:
DulcetMoans · 06/09/2012 21:58

I have two beauties on my chin too!

I made the mistake of roaming onto a wedding forum (just came up in a google search, didn't seek it out!) and now I feel really behind! There's women getting married the same day as me who posted in May listing all the things they have done - and it's a lot!

Lolcbcblemonlime · 06/09/2012 22:04

Have u set a date yet dulcet?
How exciting!
Nic- 5 weeks eh? Paying is the worst bit but it needs to be done!
I think the idea of a conference call when dh's is an amazing one Grin
I can provide the line from work ha ha.

NickiNockiNoodle · 06/09/2012 22:09

Ooh...a date, Dulcet? Tell more :-)

I can recommend gettingmarried.com as a wedding website. Very easy to use and quite useful too.

Yes, Lol, just got the suits to pay for now when we collect them. Oh, and my flowers. Need a bouquet for my mum, but will maybe get that from the florist doing my flowers.

Conference call it is then. I'll give them what for. Nicely. :-)

peardrop2 · 06/09/2012 22:49

Right, DH is out so I've taken the opportunity to plaster my face with sudocrem! FX I look more like the old me in the morning Grin

OP posts:
NickiNockiNoodle · 07/09/2012 06:30

Did it work?!

GeordieRachel · 07/09/2012 08:26

Morning all! Happy Friday Grin

We're off to a wedding tomorrow. I can test Tuesday as AF due Monday & fx won't be arriving...

So, my question is, to drink or not to drink??

Plan has been a glass on Friday, Saturday & Sunday during 2ww but obvs at a wedding there'll be a lot more booze temptation!

What do you think..?

DulcetMoans · 07/09/2012 08:40

Yeah, you can have a few glasses I reckon. Just don't get trollied! Baby doesn't share blood supply until 4 weeks anyway so we have been told so should be fine!

NickiNockiNoodle · 07/09/2012 08:44

Yeah, go for it, Rachel :-)

peardrop2 · 07/09/2012 08:56

Rachel I used to be all precious about this and now I'm like don't put your life in hold, have 2 glasses if you want to play it safe Grin

Normally sudocrem works but it's made one particular one really bad. Oh bugger :(

OP posts:
GeordieRachel · 07/09/2012 09:38

Aw, thanks so much!

I don't want to deny myself too much, gotta have a life as well

Ooh, & v helpful to know about sharing blood supply Wink

Sorry about the sudocrem fail. I had a peel on Wednesday in advance of tomorrow's wedding. It's left me burned Angry

Makeup a-go-go for us then!

Thanks again Smile

purplefairies · 07/09/2012 09:46

How exciting with all of the wedding talk - I love weddings! In fact I didn't know what to do with myself after our big day. I really missed the whole planning thing.

I can't believe I'm admitting to this but I POAS yesterday, although it was only CD 19. BFN of course. Stupid, I know, but I've been having cramping, particularly on one side and that pale brown discharge for almost a week now. I was Googling last night and got myself really worked up thinking about cervical cancer. Think I'll go to see my GP on Monday because it's really worrying me. I've never spotted mid-cycle before, although I suppose all those years on the pill don't count. Very odd.

DulcetMoans · 07/09/2012 10:50

I have set a date, next August. I still feel like thats a while away but some of these women had most of it sorted by May this year! Thanks for the tip on that site though nic, I just snuck a peak at work and it looks really handy! Can see myself spending a bit of time on there!

peardrop2 · 07/09/2012 11:00

Purple Don't worry most of us do it, POAS early that is. I think I did it cycle 1, 2 & 3. I've got a bit more fed up in cycle 5 now so I'm more with the attitude that I can't be bothered...but maybe that is just because I have the 'Do I have PCOS?' cloud hanging over my head. Could your spotting be implantation? 7 days worth of spotting sounds a long time though? I think it is good that you're going to see a doctor on Monday. They may want to take a blood test to check your progesterone levels or even to see if you're pregnant because the bloods will give you an answer quicker then the home tests. Hope you manage to book something soon so you can get some answers.

Dulcet they have probably been engaged for 2 yrs as that is the norm these days. 1 year is perfect. You only actually need 6mths to plan a wedding but a year gives you more time to stretch out the fun and relax a bit. Don't get panicky when everyone books stuff in advance. Late bookings give you a chance to barter anyway! And think of the thousands of suppliers out there...there will always be someone who is not booked. Don't make any rushed decisions is my best advice to you. The pressure that everything has to be booked ASAP is awful :-/

OP posts:
NickiNockiNoodle · 07/09/2012 11:16

No problem, Dulcet. People can RSVP online through it, which is great!

The forum isn't as good as this though :-)

I had all my stuff organised a year before the wedding. But I'm very organised.

NickiNockiNoodle · 07/09/2012 11:20

While I kind of agree, Peardrop, the suppliers who are the best value get booked up fast. I couldn't stand to leave it, especially if I was getting married in oral season.

All exciting though, Dulcet.
