Good morning ladies,

Here is some good news from me. I finally caved in and POAS Thurs & Fri and YES its a BFP. Hope this is a start for many more BFPs to come. AF is due today so will POAS again tomorrow just to be sure.
I must say i have learnt more from this thread than all the google websites i was reading over the 3 cycles. (apologies for long post).

And boo, Tal. My body proper trolled my last cycle too. Even got a faint second line. I feel your pain. :-(

I got a very faint line on Thurs, run out and bought an expensive one and got another faint line but yesterday morning had a darker line. Still dont believe it. FX

Hello Ladies, I'm new to this so any help, advice, positive thoughts sent in my direction really appreciated
I'm only on to second cycle since coming off the pill but 'the dreaded' appeared this morning... 5 days early!
last month (first month ttc) I convinced myself I had every symptom going (including weeing every half hour!) and I was 4 days late, 6 tests and 6 BFN's (DH & I did get really excited and started testing about a week early...oops!) and then it appeared.
So I think my question is...how the hell am is supposed to calculate ov next month?? I've never been early in my life, and I was late last month..?! aargh!

That's really weird. I sensed this thread was going to get a BFP today! Spooky! Congratulations Pumykins!

I dont know if this helps but here are a few things i did differently during cycle 3.
Started taking epo on CD1 but stopped after ovulation (using a stick).
Took Folic Acid (from Cycle 2).
DTD every 2 days not every day like i did during cycle 1 & 2. (Peardrop once posted that the doctor had advised her not to DTD everyday). Thanks for this tip Peardrop it must have helped.
Ordered DP not to drink for sometime. (not sure it contributed to BFP but can be useful).

No that's not exactly the advice my doctor gave me. She said DTD on smiley day and Every day for the next 5 days. Was actually impossible. Even I couldn't keep that up and only managed 3 out of the 5 days.

Thanks Peardrop, You are right, i DTD on smiley day then tried everyother day after that (3 days tops i think) but in cycle 1 & 2, we DTD in the early days everyday before i even got a smiley and i couldnt keep up towards the end.

I've read up on the saliva thing and while they say it can kill it, as long as there is a normal sperm count it shouldn't have an effect as some won't be affected.

I'm still of the opinion that it isn't actually an issue based on dilution by CM and direction and velocity of travel, ha ha!

I have developed stomach cramps this morning :( Don't you dare turn up AF right before the scan!!!! That would make me v v Unless you arrive and go by Tue am! But a 3 day AF probably isn't ideal either :-/

It also isn't essential to wave my legs in the air. 30 mins of lying down is recommended, however. There'd be barely any pregnancies if that was essential!

ohhh, still insist for the scan. Hope the bitch doesn't arrive. Have you had the cramps before?

They don't give you a smear so I doubt they will give you an internal scan. I don't think I've had cramps like this before. Maybe on cycle 1 or 2 I did.
