I haven't. Yet. Dr said I'm still very much normal in what is - or isn't - happening so not to worry. Ho hum!

RaspberrysAndIcecream · 15/09/2012 09:50

Sorry about the bfn Nic - I find AF much easier to deal with rather than those words. Hope AF comes soon.

Pear, don't feel like u can't complain on this thread, I still want to know how u are! I was very worried when u went into hospital, I know the aim of this thread is to get BFP but the altimate aim is to have a baby, you've got ur BFP but we're all rooting for u to have a happy ending!! Fx for u.

TalTangerine · 15/09/2012 10:31

Oh sorry Nic! Maybe it's just meant to be this way for the wedding, and it might just happen afterwards. I know I missed some ovulations and had weird cycles before my wedding because there was so much going on. So maybe the weirdness will clear up after the wedding.

kNickerbockerGloryCherry · 15/09/2012 10:50

Thanks, Tal :-) And statistically, we will be more likely to conceive not long after the wedding and nobody need know how long we've been trying prior!

DulcetMoans · 15/09/2012 11:20

Do you feel better talking to the doctor nic? Even if she didn't give you answers...

If it helps you to complain here pear then do! We all have a winge together, whatever stage we are at!

peardrop2 · 15/09/2012 11:24

Oh Nicola that is mega frustrating!! Do you feel a bit reassured knowing that you don't fall into the category for testing yet? It sounds like to me that you're already seeing a pattern form which I think is a really good sign? What you say is such a true bonus though... being able to conceive not long after the wedding :-) You won't have all those friends and strangers asking annoying questions which stab you in the heart!! Can you tell I'm still very bitter towards those who wouldn't leave me alone?! ;-) Don't give up hope, it's just around the corner! Have a lovely weekend enjoying the wedding preparation. Won't be long now until you're Mrs Brian :-) xx

Raspberries thank you, it's very sweet to hear that you were concerned for me when I went to hospital. It's also nice to share what I'm going through as I really didn't expect all this pain so soon with the BFP...nobody prepares you!! And I also don't feel ready to leave you all :-)

OP posts:
kNickerbockerGloryCherry · 15/09/2012 11:31

To be honest, I felt like she wasn't that interested. She barely glanced at my note about my cycles. But I suppose if I'd not been on the injection she may have been more concerned. Even being 35 didn't trigger any concerns (she did check my birthday when I said that though).

Also said stressing about the wedding may not be helping.

Think AF has started or is on the way...bit of pain. Have a few miles to go before I can check though!

We will get there.

Thank you for your wise and kind words :-)

kNickerbockerGloryCherry · 15/09/2012 11:35

But...reassured when she said it does sound like I'm ovulating. Told her about the surge and pop later that day and she agreed that that did sound like successful ovulation.

Told me to stay sane and not worry too much, but acknowledged that is hard!

kNickerbockerGloryCherry · 15/09/2012 13:14

Now I have cramping and brown spotting. Stupid body. :-/

peardrop2 · 15/09/2012 13:40

Well let's hope that AF comes and goes before you know it! I was wondering if the wedding stress might be having some effect on your body, although you seem very calm so I wasn't sure. I didn't think my house move was stressful but I was really stressed about not knowing if I'd made the right decision...it's a bit of a coincidence that I conceived a week after moving when I felt calmer! I would now not be surprised if the same thing happens to you. Wonderful news for you that it is highly likely that you're ovulating!! The less hurdles to climb the better :-)

kNickerbockerGloryCherry · 15/09/2012 16:26

Big gloop of browny / red CM now. No AF.

This is interesting.

Suppose I could be secretly stressed!

BlocketteBananaSmoothie · 15/09/2012 17:34

Hi, a rare weekend visit from me, - no advice from me nic that does sound odd, maybe the beginning of AF?

Please stay pear I enjoy seeing your updates and it gives us a warning of what's coming when we finally get our BFP's :)

I'm due my BFP tomorrow but don't think I'll bother testing, really don't feel anything has happened so will hold off till Wednesday, if no AF by then I'll test - but I think I would prefer to see AF then a BFN :(

Any news from Purple she was due her BFP tomorrow too?

kNickerbockerGloryCherry · 15/09/2012 17:42

My AF normally starts with an immediate bang, Blockette. Cramp + red blood at the same time! This is odd.

kNickerbockerGloryCherry · 15/09/2012 17:42

And good luck if you test tomorrow!

Lolcbcblemonlime · 15/09/2012 18:51

peardrop2 · 15/09/2012 21:27

Hellooooo! Just thought I'd check in. Nic - stress does all sorts of crazy things. And when I came off depo I was about 9 months before I evening got AF. Absolute nightmare. I'm on night 3 of 4 nights working in London. Absolutely knackered but that's down to the 5.30 am starts every day to get to the hospital. All signs and symptoms officially gone, so might wait for AF rather than testing on the 20th. Seems less bad somehow. It's amazing that I've never noticed ovulation before, and then the first cycle of TTC and I feel every bump. Weird!

kNickerbockerGloryCherry · 16/09/2012 09:15

Sounds exhausting, Hannah.

I don't feel stressed (and my eyelid isn't twitching, which it would if I was properly stressed), but maybe it's hiding from me!

My periods came back straight away this time with Depo. Didn't bother last time. For a year.

No more gloop today. Just a bit of cramping. And no AF yet.

kNickerbockerGloryCherry · 16/09/2012 09:58

I have AF now :-/ 30 day cycle. Consistency would be nice! :-/

letskiwithisthing · 16/09/2012 10:15

Glad you're out of limbo land nic but sorry that its with the old AF rather than the BFP!

Always crap to be back at the beginning all over again but new cycle = new hope and all that, plus 30 days is not too long! They say the luteal phase length is consistent and its the ov day that changes each cycle for some women! My last 2 ov dates have been Cd18 and 20, my last few LP's have been 13 days! So I'm not consistent either as far as ov dates go, answer is just DTD to cover all bases Grin oh and have a large glass of wine in front of tv tonight :)

kNickerbockerGloryCherry · 16/09/2012 10:29

My luteal phase is also all over the shop...I have zero consistency with anything! But I think that's due to the injection still affecting me.

Good news is I'm ovulating and my luteal phase is long enough to sustain pregnancy. Which it wasn't on my second cycle. So that's positive.

Cycle 5 here we come!

Good that you're consistent to an extent, lets.

RaspberrysAndIcecream · 16/09/2012 10:47

Completely random post but I had the most lovely date night last night with dh, we went to the pub, but on the walk there went via a little funfair that was on the common for the weekend, not being pregnant means we went on the bumper cars - twice!! Haven't done that for years!! Lol!! Went to the pub for a couple of drinks (well he had beers, I had J20 (still no alcohol intake for me!) and then decided to have a pizza blow out & ordered a pizza hut delivery!!! It was just so relaxing, and lovely just to spend some time together without anyone else!!
Today I will be sorting out the blackberrys that we picked yesterday, washing and freezing them!!
I feel really relaxed( and secretly hoping that relaxing will help us get out BFP!!!) :-)

Hows everyone doses weekend? Anyone poas today?!

RaspberrysAndIcecream · 16/09/2012 10:48

Elses - not doses - gotta love auto correct !! Lol!!

kNickerbockerGloryCherry · 16/09/2012 10:59

That sounds lovely, Raspberries :-) Fx it has the desired effect.

We went to our wedding reception venue yesterday (we hadn't been as it's back home and my mum had chosen it) to finalise details, like reception / breakfast drinks etc. Finalised our flowers and paid for those too.

All very exciting. Think we are just ready for it now though!

RaspberrysAndIcecream · 16/09/2012 11:24

Have u got long to go? I got married last year & got to a point where everything was arranged & i just wanted to get married there and then, not wait for a few more weeks!! Lol!! But it actually was one of the best days of my life!!
Hope everything goes well for u guys. :-)
