Yay for birthday drinks Puppy FX for the next round!

Have a top weekend everyone x

peardrop2 · 14/09/2012 18:10

Hi Nut thanks for sharing. I now have a scan booked for next Thursday morning. I will be 5 weeks then so fx it will give me an explanation for the pain.

Nicola wow you drink like a fish girl :-) your urine must be permanently clear!

Still no news from Pumy :-/ Hope she is ok!

That's good that you have a date for your scan :-) Fx all is progressing well.

I don't always drink that much, but this week I've been hugely thirsty :-/ I do generally drink 8 glasses at work, plus whatever I get through at home too though.

Banging headache now too.

Enjoy the wedding Woody :-)

Pumykins · 14/09/2012 19:48

Hello all,

Sorry for the late update stayed in hospital for nearly 7 hours. Done tests, scan says things look fine but Doctor still not very sure. He said the sac was in the right place but they want to do further tests so going back for scan next Friday.
Pain still there and now down my left leg as well. i feel like going into hybernation until next Friday.

RaspberrysAndIcecream · 14/09/2012 20:00

Hope your all ok!

Had a bit of a scare earlier - called doctors for results of swab they took when I had thrush before last AF, receptionist says - oh it says you need to talk to the doctor. Me thinking oh shit - WTF is wrong and begining of 2hour wait / pacing / worrying. Doc rings back and then says yes it was thrush. seriously - could they not just tell me that to begin with!!!

What's everyone up to this weekend? Dh and I are having some time alone this weekend! Can't wait!!!

peardrop2 · 14/09/2012 20:05

Pumy can I join you in hibernation please? Great news that the scan went well though and he saw a sack! Surely that rules out ectopic if it's in the womb? Did he explain why you need to go back ?

Hi Raspberry that doesn't like fun...pacing the room for an answer! Lovely that you're getting some quality time with DH this weekend though! I'm going to have a facial and nail paint in the morning...really need some me time!

Have a lovely weekend everyone x

Thanks Pear, well i suspect he thinks there is something wrong with one of my ovaries as he kept going back over and over whilst doing the scan (viginal scan) and he kept scribbling notes down.
All he said is they need to do another scan next Friday thats all, so you can imagine why I need to hybernate.

peardrop2 · 14/09/2012 20:18

Oh Pumy I totally feel your pain. I have to wait for Thursday which feels like a lifetime away. Maybe at 5 weeks we will both have clearer answers! I thought it might be an internal scan. It's not too bad but still not that comfortable! I really had no idea how scary the first few weeks would be!!

kNickerbockerGloryCherry · 14/09/2012 20:23

Huge fx for you two on Thursday, and Friday. Really hope everything starts to be plain sailing soon. xx

peardrop2 · 14/09/2012 20:39

Sending you lots of positive vibes pumy and pear. Hope soon this will just be one of those stories you tell about a horrible time that all ended well in the end x

peardrop2 · 14/09/2012 21:25

Thanks Thunder! I hope we get some more positive results on this thread over the weekend ;) ;)

Thundercatsarego · 14/09/2012 21:31

Yes indeed. Fx

kNickerbockerGloryCherry · 14/09/2012 21:41

Pressure!! :-/

Right side of uterus still feels odd...heating up again! But don't think I'm pregnant now. All other 'symptoms' have bogged off :-(

Made some notes to take to the GP tomorrow about my cycles. Might as well be thorough.

Thundercatsarego · 14/09/2012 21:53

Sorry kNic, all in the name of shifting attention away from me when pear does the winky face ;-)

Good to be philosophical and definitely good to be thorough. I sometimes write down doc's answers as well as questions, so I can digest it all later!

kNickerbockerGloryCherry · 15/09/2012 07:09

OK, so CB digi says no. No AF yet though. Don't think I'll test again now. Seeing 'not pregnant' staring at you is a bit much!

But, although I want to be pregnant, as I'm not this cycle it means I can enjoy the wedding and have a few drinks. And not have to hide not drinking from people. One tiny upside :-/

Maybe I'm now a 32 day cycle person, and last month was what will be normal. And at least my luteal phase has sorted itself out, as it had been far too short.

I wish I'd not had the injection now though. I can't help but think - based on stats - that I'm still being affected by that.

peardrop2 · 15/09/2012 07:41

Morning! Oh I'm so sorry Nicola, was really hoping for you. It is utterly awful to see those words! The line is truly much easier to take :-/

You're right about the wedding. I don't know if this helps but there is also the honeymoon to think of too. Ive been kicking myself for a long time that I didn't come off the pill sooner but when I was in hospital the other night I thought to myself atleast I got to enjoy my honeymoon without any hospital trips. Not saying that you would have any complications like me but you can now be 100% relaxed about it! You have all your notes to take to the doctor and I'm sure she will answer the injection question you have...good luck and let us know how it goes!

OP posts:
kNickerbockerGloryCherry · 15/09/2012 07:46

You're right, Peardrop, I was worried about something going wrong on the wedding day or on honeymoon, so that is not a concern now. And if I stick to 32 days, I ovulate on my birthday, so that would be good :-)

I have genuinely mixed feelings. If I didn't have the wedding I'd be more gutted, I think.

I'll update you after my GP visit.

Thundercatsarego · 15/09/2012 07:46

Morning.

Ah damnit nic, sorry about the negative. I was feeling really hopeful for you this month. But yes, having a drink at your wedding and concentrating on having a lovely time is definitely a good thing.

Obviously we can't make comparisons but I've never had the injection and I came off cerazette nearly two years ago, and my cycles have been playing silly buggers like yours it seems! It will be great to get some answers from the doc tho, so fx it goes well.

kNickerbockerGloryCherry · 15/09/2012 07:47

How are you feeling today Peardrop?

DulcetMoans · 15/09/2012 08:03

Sorry nic. Hope AF comes soon then of she's on the way. Get it out of the way for the wedding.

Think I'm nearly ready to come out of my sulky cave. Few champagnes at a wedding tomorrow will help.

peardrop2 · 15/09/2012 08:22

I'm glad you have the wedding to distract you Nicola! And an announcement soonafter the wedding will help ease those wedding blues which come back soon after marriage :-) I don't feel comfortable complaining on this thread so I'll just say I am ok. Still in pain but it's not worse (if it gets worse I've been told to head to A&E).

Dulcet glad to hear you're crawling out of the COD :-)

OP posts:
kNickerbockerGloryCherry · 15/09/2012 08:30

You know you can message me if you want to get it off your chest, Peardrop :-)

At least it isn't worse.

And yes, if we get to announce soon after the wedding that would be great. See what happens first :-/

kNickerbockerGloryCherry · 15/09/2012 09:16

Hmmm...won't give me tests until the new year. Stay relaxed and have a healthy lifestyle. Don't worry too much about drinking as long as not in excess though.

Injection potentially still having an effect. Joked about how you think it'll be easy after lessons in school!

GeordieCherry · 15/09/2012 09:38

Oh bloody hell Nic that all sounds v frustrating

At least you can enjoy a few fizzes at the wedding & fx for a honeymoon baby

Have you thought about trying reflexology or acupuncture?
