This is it for us all :-)

4 weeks yesterday :-) And I'm at that point now! Just want to do it now. But I'm sure the next few weeks will fly past.

kNickerbockerGloryCherry · 16/09/2012 15:00

Oh good...another weird period. (TMI alert) day one and not even managed to fill a whole Tampax with the first one used. Really odd. I used to have one day of solid bleeding at least. Not sure what is happening :-/ Suppose I should be grateful they're light, but can they be TOO light?

Pumykins · 16/09/2012 15:16

sorry about AF Nic, atleast you have the wedding to look forward to and once you are relaxed, more good things (BFP) will happen.

Hope everyone else is having a lovely weekend.

kNickerbockerGloryCherry · 16/09/2012 15:17

I'm really not stressed! It's quite stressful having people keep telling me I am though :-/

LoveinNY · 16/09/2012 15:59

Hi ladies. Long time to speak. Was all getting a bit too obsessive being on here all the time do I decided to take a break. Anyway I had been doing acupuncture, yoga and the more Chinese approach to ttc the last 2 months, and whether related or not..... I got a BFP on Friday and will be '5weeks' on Tuesday. Just wanted to let you all know and spread some optimism. Smile much love to all. Xx

kNickerbockerGloryCherry · 16/09/2012 16:08

Congrats, Love :-)

Thundercatsarego · 16/09/2012 17:00

Hi all,

Congrats. love, fantastic news. Whatever you did this time it obviously worked!

Sorry for AF nic, especially puzzling one too. Your body is properly giving you the runaround at the mo. the wedding will be a great distraction and it sounds good that you're not stressed about it- that's the sign of an organised bride I reckon Smile

Nice weekend in the Thundercat lair. Have got bigger, sore breasts today. Don't usually get these pre-af, but I have done in the past so it's likely a sign she's well on her way. Due tomorrow if I'm going to be 28 days, Weds if I'm 30days or Fri if I'm 32fays. Who knows but with these bazookas I reckon it'll be sooner rather than later!

kNickerbockerGloryCherry · 16/09/2012 17:09

Your cycle sounds as consistent as mine, Thunder!

And I'm very organised, yes. And know that what will be will be. The hotel is paid to make sure it runs smoothly too.

Thundercatsarego · 16/09/2012 17:41

Good approach, nic, sounds like youve got that exactly right and I reckon you will have a really great time x

peardrop2 · 16/09/2012 17:47

Congratulations Love! You're one day ahead of me. Have you had any cramping or stitch like feelings?

letskiwithisthing · 16/09/2012 19:12

Congratulations love, nice to hear from you :)

LoveinNY · 16/09/2012 20:01

Thunder, you never know, might be a BFP coming your way! My boobs have never hurt more.
Congrats Pear, yeah ive been getting twingy feelings which are making me freak as I mc at 6 1/2 weeks in march. But I'm trying to be positive and am actually feeling a bit queezy too. Boobs didn't hurt as much last time either. Xx

Thundercatsarego · 16/09/2012 20:56

Time will tell I suppose love. At the moment I'm mostly trying to avoid descending stairs in public places as it looks like I'm making special friends with myself.

I expect you know what I mean from what you say about your boobs...

kNickerbockerGloryCherry · 16/09/2012 21:15

Ha ha, Thunder, that's quite funny (for me without a boob problem!).

kNickerbockerGloryCherry · 16/09/2012 21:26

Why would I have tummy ache more than period pain? Oddness. Still!

I don't think I could TTC for years on end without being driven utterly crazy! :-/

peardrop2 · 16/09/2012 21:57

Love agree with you, twinges are not the calming sensation I was expecting! I haven't had any boob it nausea side effects...even worried about that which is ridicoulous as we all know everyone is different!

OP posts:
LoveinNY · 16/09/2012 22:34

Pear suppose it's good we are both feeling them though. Hmm x

kNickerbockerGloryCherry · 17/09/2012 06:59

Morning people! :-)

Did everyone have a lovely weekend?

My period is odd as I have barely any gynae pain. I do have tummy ache and cramps though. I'm used to being odd though, ha ha!

letskiwithisthing · 17/09/2012 07:35

Morning all - yes lovely weekend thanks nic! Went for a family meal Saturday night and enjoyed a few drinks! Had an early night with DH last night but we forgot about the conceive plus!!! So still havent used it - going to use it tonight for sure!

purplefairies · 17/09/2012 08:51

Congratulations to all the ladies with BFPs.

I tested twice at the weekend and BFN. Somehow I was actually convinced that it would be a BFP this cycle. I really thought my mid-cycle spotting was implanation, had even started to feel a bit sick and craving carbs....how stupid. Now CD 30 and still no AF.

To top it all, my best friend announced her pregnancy at the weekend. 2 of my best friends are now pregnant - both only 4 weeks after coming off the pill.

I've been referred for tests which will start today. I'm really worried about the spotting now as it obviously wasn't implanation bleeding. My last two AFs have also been really light (so I sympathise, nic), so I'm thinking something isn't quite right. Just hope it's not anything too scary - by that I mean cancer (I've terrified of serious illness in general). Appointment isn't until this afternoon so I have a long wait ahead of me :((

kNickerbockerGloryCherry · 17/09/2012 09:14

Oh no, purple.

My brother and sister in law to be (his brother and wife) just announced a baby due in February.

Not impressed. Wanted to beat them to it :-(

purplefairies · 17/09/2012 09:20

The annoucements are hard to take, aren't they. My two friends and I always joked that we'd want to all be pregnant "together". Obviously I feel like the two of them have much more in common now and that I'll sort of be pushed out of the group. I've seen a few friendships deteriorate after people have kids - I suppose it's natural for them to want the company of other mums and I can understand that they are no longer as interested in my tales of travelling, eating out, etc. (to be fair just as I can't really relate to their tales of weaning and sleepless nights). To be honest, this is bothering me more than not being pregnant.

DulcetMoans · 17/09/2012 09:36

Hi all! What did I miss? Wedding this weekend so not been around. I think I see one BFP, congrats love!

Sounds like a stressful afternoon purple, but hopefully one that gives you answers...

Thundercatsarego · 17/09/2012 11:14

Hi dulcet, was it a lovely wedding?

kNic, I TOTALLY get what you mean about beating them too it.

Good luck at the doc's purple, try not to worry- it doesn't do any good, and more information is a good thing.

As for me, I'm still wandering about clutching my breasts. Classy.

woody17 · 17/09/2012 11:17

Hi everyone

Hope you all had nice weekends. We were at a wedding, which was lovely, but got a lot of 'when are you starting a family then?' type questions!

So think this is another wtf cycle for me - have been having a tiny amount of brown discharge on and off since Saturday and it's only really when I wipe. Tried to convince myself it was implantation bleeding when it happened last month but it wasn't! This seems to be how my afs are starting since mc. I'm not going to count the first day until the bleeding starts though.

I am really confused about when I'm ov though. Bought a clearblue fertility monitor (got tempted on amazon) so hopefully that will help me out a bit! or drive me crazy! Does anyone else use this? Any tips?
