Thought I would start a September thread as I loved being on the August one so much. Just a pity August wasn't my month!

Anyhoo onwards and upwards. Hoping this will be a lucky month for me and everyone else hoping for BFPs

I'm on cd7 at the mo and just started using the clearblue opk to feed my poas addiction til ov :) I think I'll be ov around the 23rd and hoping for my BFP on 6 september as a fabulous birthday present.

Shagging at the inlaw's is perfectly acceptable, especially when potentially creating them a GC! Get on the floor if the bed is too squeaky

beautician I started monitoring cervical mucus for signs of ovulation and the last 2 months have used opk's which I know isn't an exact science but helpful to know if you're in the right ball park. If no success this month then I think I will start temping.

LittleMiss Thank You.I did wonder what Opk was. I will get some in ready for next month then as i think too late for this month. Its strange having to think about it all as last time i didn't. But DP has low fertility and although i've not been checked out im sure that in the past 6years my fertility has changed somewhat as my AFs certainly have.

Beautician - opks arent too reliable if u hav any conditions that might cause a hormone imbalance like pcos, so i cant use them. Like u i hav never really had to think much about this but i was monitoring cervical mucus in may and i got a bfp in june so going to start doing that when post-mc bleeding finally clears up.

Getting ready for a wedding tomorrow, feeling like a glamazon, who is that foxy lady with the freshly done tan, the glossy, freshly dyed hair, the beautifully shaped eyebrows, the neat fingernails...the...err furry slippers hee!

Little miss sorry about your mc was it recent or have you left a af between?
I'm hoping to ( secretly) try as soon as bleeding stops, dh knows obviously that we won't use protection but promised him I won't use opk etc and relax abit < he clearly doesn't know me at all>

kittykats - i had a mmc so i needed to have an erpc on 31st july, so its been just over 3 weeks. We are kind of ttc this month but not dtd eod or anything just yet, like you, still bleeding a bit so i suspect i'll have to wait for af to arrive before cycles return to normal(ish) but i suppose u.never know so still keeping fx! And for u too :)

Beautician I have one DS who is 16mo.

Sorry if this is TMI but does anyone else get pinky/brown EWDC? I, erm, had a LOT of this last night. Never had it before like that. Any ideas?

Yes i have 2ds. They are aged 6 and 7.

Worried i got that when i had ds2. It took me ages to poas as i thought AF was arriving. So possibly implantation?

How soon after ovulation do most people notice symptoms. I can only remeber sore boobs from when i was last pregnant but i get that with AF as well.

Hi! mind if I join? we've only just started TTC so I am new to all these tests and things - although as suggested on another thread i'm going to get a kit today I think as my AF is irregular. My mother caught on first try with both me and my brother so here's hoping she passed on her baby making skills ;)

I am feeling quite positive today- my progesterone came back as 30 'suggests ovulation has occured' and we DTD every other day over the whole 2 weeks so fingers crossed we are lucky this time.

Now 7-8DPO and want to see if my willpower will hold out to not POAS for another week (doubtful)

i guess i am 1dpo today- opk is back to no smiley face, so I take it that means the surge has been and gone and the eggy has dropped or will drop soon?

DH didn't have to leave til this morning so we got a couple of extra bonks in before he left :)

Celebrating my big girl's birthday today. Can't believe weechops1 is 6! Got weechops2 to wake her up this morning saying happy birthday in his wee voice. Very cute.

Dexi for what it's worth, my prog level was 30 when I had it tested and DD had just been popped into the oven (but didn't know when got results, obvs)...

This ttc thing makes us all a bit insane I think

I think i'm going mad with imaginery sympton spotting. Feeling really crampy although TMI warning i keep going to the loo and ahem very windy

I've also felt a bit sicky but all these symptoms would be way to early.So i think either AF is on its way,i over did it with the Davina fitness dvd(very achy) or im thinking so much its stress symptoms. Im so so impatient

Hi guys, can I join you? I'm on cycle 2, hoping for BFP 22nd September. I think that's AF finished for this month so instead of trying to time it to when I thought I was OVing last month I've decided we're just gonna try and go for it every second night this month (DH is delighted). Does this sound like a plan?? I am totally uneducated when it comes to this TTC lark.
How is everyone else feeling?
Beauticiannotmagician - I went mad with sympton spotting this last cycle too (longest cycle EVER, it actually was, like 40 days, crazy) and if I'm honest I think the stress of wondering prevented AF from arriving on time.
I'm so impatient, I want to just DTD then find out immediately!

Hi flutter I also think bfp af is due 22nd. It does seem like an impossible amount of time to wait!
