Thought I would start a September thread as I loved being on the August one so much. Just a pity August wasn't my month!

Anyhoo onwards and upwards. Hoping this will be a lucky month for me and everyone else hoping for BFPs

I'm on cd7 at the mo and just started using the clearblue opk to feed my poas addiction til ov :) I think I'll be ov around the 23rd and hoping for my BFP on 6 september as a fabulous birthday present.

weechops - cycle 3 - BFP due 6 sep

OP posts:
Brodicea · 03/09/2012 09:18

Fingers crossed it's just too early weechops x

WhenSheWasBadSheWasAnOrange · 03/09/2012 09:29

It is a little early to test weechops hope you get better news on Thursday

SuperSesame · 03/09/2012 10:01

I'm due to test after the weekend and already symptom spotting. Anyone else? So far, I'm slightly achey at the top of my legs and lower back.
(could be all in my head)

BeauticianNotMagician · 03/09/2012 10:19

I just tested and got a BFN on a clear blue non digital[Sad].I will await Afs arrival now but will stay here until the october thread starts.

SuperSesame · 03/09/2012 10:27

Hope its just too early Beaut.

There's another SuperS on here! Hello SuperSlattern!!

Lorelei353 · 03/09/2012 10:28

Hopefully just a little early weechops and Beautician. Keep the faith!

BeauticianNotMagician · 03/09/2012 10:30

AF is due tomorrow so i think it would show already. I really thought i was as well. I will try to be more relaxed next time.

Hi to all the new joiners.FX for lots of BFPS.

PurpleGeekyGirl · 03/09/2012 10:33

Can I join in too? New here and first cycle of trying this time round for me (see my post below for more info!).

CD7 for me, due to Ov on 9 Sept and test day = 25/9... Fingers crossed! Good luck everyone xx

VioletCherry · 03/09/2012 10:34

No POAS for me this morning, AF arrived instead.
Looking on the bright side at least I am back to a regular 30 day cycle after coming off Cerezette a few months ago.
Had hoped to get this months thread off to a better start but wishing all the Sept hopefuls their BFPs. I will def stay on here, FX for some good news soon.

BeauticianNotMagician · 03/09/2012 10:39

Sorry violetcherry I had wondered how you were. I will be staying on the thread too.Evan though i got a BFN its nice to know i can share my frustrations with virtual friends.

I have my OPKs at the ready.Just hope i can manage to dtd near ovulation this time what with DP only being about at weekends.

BeauticianNotMagician · 03/09/2012 10:48

Does anyone use the CB fertility monitor.

Lorelei353 · 03/09/2012 11:02

VioletCherry when did you come off Cerazette and what was your cycle like until it settled down?
I came off in June, AF arrived about 26 days later. Since then I've had two 25 day cycles (exactly) which seems very short - definitely short for me anyway.

WhenSheWasBadSheWasAnOrange · 03/09/2012 11:19

violetcherry sorry about af but like you say a 30 day cycle sounds good. Sorry about the bfn beautician

VioletCherry · 03/09/2012 11:52

Lorelei353 Put on Cerzette by GP to provide contraception while b'feeding. Didn't have any physical probs while on it ie no spotting or weight fluctuations but I always felt that it affected my moods. After nine months decided to come off it back in March 2012. Although it may have been my own notion I felt happier in myself withn a couple of weeks.
First period stopping pill was 60 days later and I have never felt so rotten due to a period. I was having what I can only describe as "hot flushes" throughout the day and night beforehand. When AF finally put in an appearance I was vomitting and had to take to bed for the first couple of days. It really took me by surprise, although Cerezette did its job I doubt that I would ever go back on it. 2nd period 35days later and every 30days since. Seem to have settled back into my normal cycle now. Finished b'feeding last month and DTD with purpose for the first time again in Aug 12.
After being sick I did have a bit of a read around online, I understand that it can take quite a while to fall back into a regular AF routine. Maybe your cycle will lengthen slightly as the months past but I would be encouraged by the presence of your AF. Its bound to be a good starting point short cycle or not.

Lorelei353 · 03/09/2012 12:05

Thanks violetcherry). Sounds like my experience was quite different to yours.
Trying to stay encourage by appearance of AF as you say, and the fact that it's regular which is something! Have only been TTC for 2 cycles but you know what it's like! You get all enthusiastic and want it to happen right away!

Glad your cycle's back to normal. Let's hope for BFP next time around!

33PinkLadyApple · 03/09/2012 13:25

Hi lorelei and Violet. I'm a fellow Cerazette taker. Think I have chatted to lorelei* an another thread? I cam off it July 22nd and had AF about 3 weeks later then another light one a week after that so I'm very early days. I got put on it in Jan 2012 because I had high blood pressure. It made me feel paranoid and tense all the time. Was not a great person to live with I bet, but I only noticed this once I came off it and 'returned to normal'. fingers crossed for us Post Cerazette Babes. x

33PinkLadyApple · 03/09/2012 13:30

Thought I'd update the list with my new fruity name. Still going with Sep 5th taking first AF as proper one. If no BFP or AF then I'll move it on another week to the lighter AF (that I am not convinced was one). ha ha. Any new littlemiss?

pocopearl · 03/09/2012 14:35

IBelieveInPink · 03/09/2012 14:58

Erm, this whole ovulation thing is hard to work out isnt it! Admittedly, I have just been working it all out using Internet calendars etc, but have just discovered a new one which says I ovulate 3 days earlier than the others! Wtf?! Thank goodness we dtd yesterday just 'for fun', may have missed it otherwise!

LittleMissSnowShine · 03/09/2012 15:27

ibelieveinpink- i know, flipping nightmare!! calendars, ovulation predictor kits, cervical mucus, basal body temperature....whaaa?? It might make youhappier (or not!) to hear that NHS clinical excellence ttc guidelines recommend having sex every 2 -3 days and not trying to pinpoint ovulation. So does Zita West. It's not possible for everyone, esp if your partner is working nightshifts or working away from home etc, but if you can just dtd more i personally feel it's a lot less effort than figuring out when exactly i'm OV. That's just me tho lol

SuperSesame · 03/09/2012 15:51

I agree. Just keep dtd all the time!
Esier said than done though. On my last baby we dtd a lot up to about day 12, then got worn out and kept missing the boat.
The ovulation things all make it very medicalised and confusing as it predicts it mainly after ovulation.

pocopearl · 03/09/2012 16:04

littlemiss i know what you mean its hard to pinpoint ov. I use opk but still dtd every other day without fail dh and i are committed to the cause ! Am really broody as well, nipped out to a car boot sale today to go help out a mate and found my self hunting through babygros, and blankets.

I read that dreams become more vivid as an early sign of pregnancy, has anyone found this around ovulation? or am i just a nutcase

can't wait for poas day! really trying hard to conceive this month!

IBelieveInPink · 03/09/2012 16:11

littlemiss it's confusing me so much, I'm trying not to focus on that. I know it it supposed to be sometime this week, so we are just going with as much as possible! If that happens to be every day, or every other day, then so be it. It will happen if it is meant to! :)

PerpetualProvocateur · 03/09/2012 19:48

Littlemiss and Avocado, I'm another who should probably just skip to the October thread with you as my last cycle was 37 days. But that was my first cycle after getting my period back, so who knows what could happen this month. I'm sure I'll be POAS from day 28 again but if I start symptom-spotting again somebody please slap me with a wet fish
