Thought I would start a September thread as I loved being on the August one so much. Just a pity August wasn't my month!

Anyhoo onwards and upwards. Hoping this will be a lucky month for me and everyone else hoping for BFPs

I'm on cd7 at the mo and just started using the clearblue opk to feed my poas addiction til ov :) I think I'll be ov around the 23rd and hoping for my BFP on 6 september as a fabulous birthday present.

littlepinkfizz like babyjames said it only takes once. Im pretty much hoping on that each month as i only see DP at weekends so we don't have much of a window to catch ovulation.

Hope everyone is ok. Any symptoms for anyone. I woke up feeling nauseous again today. I have a feeling Af will be delayed either way due to my stressing. Next month although ill be using opks i really am going to try and be more chilled. Im starting some study in 2 weeks so i should be too busy to think about it.

Thanks magician! Just getting my af downer...I bounce back well though! Just felt as it's birthday next week I might have a nice surprise to enjoy...still I am going to have a lovely delayed honeymoon next month even if af shows again! Imagine the fun of trying to buy sticks in a different language :)

am eagerly awaiting good news.
Am trying to get out of the funk but just feel as i am wading through treacle. me and dp went to spend the night in a cheap b&b to spend quality time together and get away. all was going well until the boss from hell sent me a nasty text message. . am dreading work tomorrow. if this goes on i'll have to go to gp and ask beg him to sign me off work for a week, at least it might give me time to get my head together.

qazxc sorry about the boss from hell and that you are still in a funk. Not really sure what I can say to cheer you up. If things are that bad I think you should go to the GP. My boss is great but the company I work for is shit so I kind of know where you are coming from.

qazxc I know that I don't know you but I have some idea of what you're taking about (post-natal depression after DD and m/c this year). Please do get yourself to the GP if only to get a week to think things over without outside interference. Hope you feel WAY better soon.

Hi everyone just update from me - im on cd 35, my normal cycle length is around 33 days but this is my first cycle post-mc so I guess it makes sense for it to be all over the place this month. No sign.of AF yet but i've tested twice in last couple of days and both were bfns so I think.its just a matter of time. Almost cant wait.for flippin.AF to arrive.now so I can start a new cycle! Good luck everyone waiting on their September bfps - i'm going to be waiting for someone to start an October thread!

Hi everyone, am stressing out today, opk and bbt suggest that I am not ovulating SWI anyway ! I should be, usually you can set your watch by me. I am getting a really feint line on my opk but that is still a negative. Why is ttc so complex and stupid? I hate my ovaries :( .

Well, I'm out. AF arrived this morning. Another 25 day cycle. I never had short cycles back in the day or when I've taken pill-breaks but have been on Cerazette for two years and only came off in June. So, this is nothing to worry about right? At least they're consistent (exactly 25 days two months in a row - first two proper cycles). Also means I'm possibly ovulating earlier than I thought so can plan for that (haven't been POAS yet).
On the plus side, since I seem to be having short cycles I'm still in for Sept. so have readded myself to the end - 27th Sept (day before my 36th birthday).

lorelei - yeah, i think shorter cycles are pretty much ok as long as they are consistent. they say normal cycles are between 28 - 32 days, but if they can be 32 days long when 28 is text book and still be norm then why not 25? fwiw, mine are usually 33 days and i've been pg twice now so don't think it matters much except, as you say, maybe it will help you pin point your OV date more precisely

almond - i know, it sucks. there's no october thread out there yet and i'm paranoid about starting one because i started the june bfp thread and then had a mc and cheese, the girl who started the may bfp thread, also had a mc so we've convinced ourselves that starting a thread is bad luck. stupid superstitions! somebody else who isn't such a scaredy cat go start October for us!! was making lunch for myself today cos DH is out running a 10k and found myself making a very weird cheese, ham, pineapple, mayo and cheese&onion crisp sandwich. think that may be the pms junk binge kicking in, going to have bad skin by tonight and probably AF arriving in next couple of days. Moan.

littlemiss according to the nhs info on ttc, cycles between 24 and 35 days r most common but they can be longer or shorter so I don't think there is a 'normal' as such!
