Hi ladies,

For those of us out of the July game there are not many places to hide so I thought I'd start a new August thread to give us all some positive vibes!

Cycle 3 - BFP August 6th

OP posts:
KittyBump · 15/08/2012 20:38

Ah sunshine I got to CD44 last month before AF arrived! I think it definitely makes testing early more understandable! Do you always have such a long cycle (you've probably said this already but I can't read 38 pages!).
I was on the July thread but thought with my mega long cycles I'd next be testing in Sept but I'm completely confused now as I may have had EWCM and ov pains on CD4! which would make test day this Sunday! Though I'm not hugely positive as I didn't dtd much around ovulation as I was away from home :(

Lolcbcb · 15/08/2012 20:47

Hi sunshine I made sense of your post Grin
Basically FF is too confusing! I can't get my head around it. I'm not temping so according to it I've not ovulated. Oh well. Might go back to my simple and less detailed app!

KittyBump · 15/08/2012 20:52

should say EWCM on CD14 not 4:)

winkle2 · 15/08/2012 21:58

Sorry she got you res :(

Sunshine - I understand how you feel as I gotta cd43 last cycle!

winkle2 · 15/08/2012 21:58

Got to not gotta!

SunshineOutdoors · 16/08/2012 07:26

Ha ha kitty I thought cd4 was a bit early!

Thanks everyone for understanding my post, and it's reassuring to hear of more people with long cycles.

I was on the pill for years then pg and bf. I think my cycles are still getting back to normal after bf. Think the used to be about 35 days, so long but not as long as at the moment.

Temp has dipped a bit today Sad but I was up at 5 with dd so probably should discount temp? Although I would have thought that would make it higher if anything? Hope af isn't coming.

How are you when? I understand if you're feeling crappy and not wanting to post, just to let you know we're thinking of you Thanks

SunshineOutdoors · 16/08/2012 07:32

winkle do you know when you're testing this month?

Dexidoo · 16/08/2012 07:58

Another confused one here, I think I may be heading to the Sept thread as I don't think I've ovulated yet. On CD 15 and this is late, only a bit of EWCM and no OPK+ (unless I missed it). We have DTD EOD since CD8 so think DH is hoping for a rest plus my brother and his GF are coming to stay the weekend and so Fri/ Sat shagging is unlikely.

Not sure whether to start temping next cycle or if this will confuse matters further. Ah well off to work, catch up with you all later Smile

winkle2 · 16/08/2012 08:46

Dex there is still time to get your smiley, keep going.

Sunshine - I'm off to a hen do on Saturday so I should test before I go. That will be 15 days after peak on monitor.

We're still dtd though just in case! Managed a quick one in last night! That means we have dtd eod or every 2-3 days since cd9, apart from last week where we only managed Tuesday and Saturday.

Hubby got his SA results back. They said all normal except for morphology which is 1% but they say they don't think that's a problem.

Ahhhtetley · 16/08/2012 09:04

SadSad took a test this morning with a first response stick and got a BFN, AF is due tomorrow or Saturday... I've no pregnancy or period symptoms..

So, so fed up with this!! When do you stop trying?? It's been 2 years for us now and we did say this would be our last time before stopping..

Been in tears most of this morning, had a blazing row with DH (not his fault), when I told him, he responded with 'I don't know what to say' which of course pissed me off, no 'I'm sorry' or anything like that - tbf I'd prob have reacted badly whatever he'd said.

I know I should be grateful for what I've got, we do have a DD who's nearly 5 and some people don't even get that.. I'm just sad as I don't think I'll ever get the chance to do it all again..

Sorry for the 'oh woe is me' Sad Blush I just needed to rant.

resipsa · 16/08/2012 10:21

Tetley Sad I feel your pain, rant away.

goingbananas30 · 16/08/2012 10:31

Hello everyone, can I join? I've been reading and rooting for everyone and driving myself crackers symptom spotting so thought I'd join in. This is my first cycle since having my 2nd mirena coil removed on July 12th after 5 and a half years. Had expected af to therefore be on about 12th aug (never had periods with coil in) but got a pos opk on 4th august, so expecting it on about 18th now.

Have hag symptoms but realistically think they're just hormones settling down. Just wish I'd get af to stop myself imagining! Got 30 hpts off Internet for £2, have tested 3 times already, all bfn.

Have 2 DCs already, aged 7&6 and had a mmc just before my First. Thought we didn't want anymore, then thought if we do want a big family it's now or never as I'm 36 and went for now. I thought I'd be relaxed and take it or leave it but have become obsessed as is my nature when I put my mind to something!

Fx all.

goingbananas30 · 16/08/2012 10:38

Hello peacocklady... welcome Smile

frustratedpants · 16/08/2012 11:07

Hi peacock welcome I had loads of pg symptoms the month after I came of Mirena. drove myself mad Bfns, too. I think it was just my hormones settling down.

berri · 16/08/2012 13:53

Gosh this thread is the longest one I've ever been on!

Bang in the middle of my 2ww at the moment, driving myself crazy thinking about it but no symptoms of any kind.

Peacock where did you get the 30 hpts for £2? Would be interested to know seeing as I think I've already spent a small fortune on mine! Are they supposed to be as sensitive as the shop bought ones?

Hope everyone has a good day, keep positive :)

frustratedpants · 16/08/2012 13:58

Hi berri eBay! Grin the 10mlU ones.
I'm 5dpo , so not quite into the horrible latter part of the 2ww yet.

winkle2 · 16/08/2012 13:59

welcome peacock

I'm sorry Tetley :(

x

goingbananas30 · 16/08/2012 15:25

FX

berri · 16/08/2012 15:43

Sorry Tetley, feel free to rant away on here, that's what this thread is for, you can't drive people in rl mad with talking/thinking about ttc all the time. It's so tough isn't it, I'm dreading AF coming, it's just in the back of your mind all the time.

We're due on the same day I think goingbananas - 23rd? Tell me it's too early and it's not first thing in the morning so I MUST NOT POAS!

IBelieveInPink · 16/08/2012 17:07

Haha berri and goingbananas you are making me giggle with your 2ww - I am so there with you! Is driving me NUTS and I am symptom spotting all the craziest things ever. How early is too early to test?! may have possibly accidentally bought an early response test on my lunch break oops

berri · 16/08/2012 17:36

Just noticed on the list you're 26th pink ....if I was you I'd try to hold out until at least the weekend it's not like I've already POAS yesterday or anything

frustratedpants · 16/08/2012 17:47

pink if it is 26th put the stick down and back away slowly we've got the weekend to get through first.

Peacocklady · 16/08/2012 17:55

Yes mine were off eBay. But they're so cheap I've got an excuse to keep testing because maybe they don't work very well Grin

IBelieveInPink · 16/08/2012 18:02

Ah, no I had my maths wrong. It is 22/23rd. Sorry should have updated. So..... CanICanICanI???
