Aiming for August 2012 BFP!!

Hi ladies,

For those of us out of the July game there are not many places to hide so I thought I'd start a new August thread to give us all some positive vibes!

Cycle 3 - BFP August 6th

I had the bloods taken at 12 and have to wait 5-7 days for the results.

They tested 12 different things! Varying from sex hormones level, checking if I'm ovulating, liver, thyroid test, etc.

hubs STILL waiting for his sperm results!

Just want some answers now!

when I hope it isn't af. Could it be implantation bleeding?

I've had some brown discharge today - only when I wipe. Does anyone have any ideas what this might be?

Thanks woody think it is a bit late to be implantation bleeding, most likely is the start of af. I don't know what the brown discharge is. The consensus seems to be that brown blood = old blood. So it could be the residue of implantation (being optimistic).

Good to hear you have got the ball rolling winkle but I can't believe your dh is still waiting. I would be calling up the GPs constantly (they need to chase up the path lab to see what is happening). I hope they were really supportive in your appointment.

I went to a clinic for the blood test and he was great - explained what each test was for.

Woody - what cd are you on?

I started spotting a few days ago, which is about 11 dpo, it started a pinkish and 3 days later its a dark brownish, very light, hardly a flow at all. AF is due in about a week - could it be implantation bleeding or is it too late for that?

clutching at straws here as it has happened before and then AF has arrived

Hello, I pitch up on these threads from time to time but have higher hopes this month as have ovulation bleeding, which I've never noticed before and not had since tracking my cycles. Apparently it's a good sign but I'd never heard of it before and googled it because I thought it was something bad! So, can I join? AF due between August 25th and 30th. Wow, lots of back reading to do!!!

Does anybody know if the amount of creamy CM I have is usual for CD 30? I've not gone through dry / sticky yet this cycle. It's been mostly high volume, creamy, CM since CD 20. And increasing by the day at the moment!

Hello all, sorry I've been AWOL. Crazy weird cycle this month (first since dc1 so I guess that shouldn't come as a surprise). Didn't get a smiley on the opk until cd22 (pre-baby was usually cd16) and temps post then have been inconsistent so I figure af will be later than usual day 32 as I oved late. Can't help but get my hopes up though - am imagining every symptom under the sun

You are getting all the symptoms nic except for the test! How odd!
Can u not sneak into hospital for blood test?

Not sure! Doesn't help how far from home I work. Not sure where the hospitals are in relation to work.

All I'm proving is how much of an awkward bugger I really am. :-/

How long are your cycles again nic getting confused as I don't reach cd30

Since coming off the pill, 28 followed by 26. So it is early days, but surprised it would decide to go tits up on month 3 rather than 1!

And I always had nice neat, 28 day cycles many moons ago.

Nic I just found a quiz called am I pregnant?
If u google the question it comes up. Maybe take it and see what it says. It's pretty comprehensive and has 22 questions. I just did it and got a score of 29/44 which is a maybe apparently!! Not that I'm dreaming.

nicola all the signs look really good apart from the tests not saying what they should (hope they change their mind soon).

All the tests I found said I could be!

Sitting on the sofa feeling like I'm on a boat and nauseous. This is properly odd!

I hope I get a definitive answer soon, When. Even AF would be a weird relief now, to be honest.

Nicola I had all those symptoms before my bfp, I was neg until a week after af due, the biggest thing was what I'd describe as sea sickness, I've never felt anything like it, fx for you

lolcbcb I just got 33-40. I'm 3dpo so I doubt that result most likely low blood pressure in my case.
