Aiming for August 2012 BFP!!

Hi ladies,

For those of us out of the July game there are not many places to hide so I thought I'd start a new August thread to give us all some positive vibes!

Cycle 3 - BFP August 6th

I'm aiming for August.

Aran I don't use the sticks, just get a lot in over the 'feritle week', and either side just for good measure. when i spoke with the doctor he asked me what method i was using and i said we were "going at it a bit gung ho."

After he stopped laughing, he said that it was a good approach. It's not worked yet though. trying for a year but only started working out my ovulation in the last 6 months.

It's getting exciting in here as August creeps up on us, Looking forward to keeping check on all the BFP's!

Pesky July AF has not aarived yet so may have to edit my date when/if she arrives, only day 29 but am a 28 day girl!
If she does not come soon I will be out of the August thread with all you lovelies and will have to find/start a September one!
Oh the waiting game Still, have bought lots of internet cheapie OPK's as consolation!

My cousin is pregnant and I am so happy for her. It turns out she was havIng trouble ttc for a year and a half (really hope she isn't on this thread or I have just outed the two of us). Won't go into the details but she has had a horrible time, wouldn't wish it on anyone.

Ah whenshewas atleast she confided in someone who would have empathy with her and listen rather then just say well you probably relaxed and stoped thinking about it........ La de la

Hi, my temp hasn't changed yet but today I got a very very tiny amount of bright red blood spotting, literally just a couple of spots on the toilet roll when I wiped. I remember it happening last month as well, but I can't remember exactly when. Is it likely to have anything to do with ov?

Apparently you can spot with OV. I did last month, but didn't this. So I looked it up then :-)

Let us know how your dp test goes my dp is 14th I delayed by a week as was over the vital time lol and could not bare missing a month ;-) still now on month 16/17 ! How you feeling? Hope you all get some bfps !!! Whenshewas- hope today went ok for you with the news ! I was at a party where clearly only pregnant peeps were allowed lol I gate crashed!!! X

May I join in please? Totally new to this, month 1 of ttc, and I think my BFP day should be 26th August. Have a feeling I am going to over analyse everything, so would be good to have some company while I do! :)

Hi everyone. I am really confused - have been having quite a lot of cm - it's been very slippery and watery. Yesterday I had a tiny amount of pinky tinged cm and then a bit later when I wiped it was a bit browny. Have been having cramps and twinges. But up until Sat morning I was getting +ve preg tests (although incredible faint lines - almost invisible) so I just don't know what's going on. Some people have told me that after a mc you won't ov again until tests are -ve but then some say that hgc levels can be low enough to ov but still get v v v faint +ve lines. I think I am just overanalysing everything because I am so desperate to be pg again or at least even have the chance to be pg again!

Hi woody, I think unfortunatly for this cycle is likely you will have very little idea of what is going on, I think you can ov when your hcg drops to a certain level and this may be nearing when you are getting the last out of your body but it is impossible to guess, I think just keep dtd but if you can just accept it as a wtf cycle and it can't really be analysed like a normal cycle because of how different bodies deal with mc and how people get rid of hcg at different rates. Sorry it is a head fuck at the time, I hope you get your neg test soon and that atleast gets rid of one part of the confusion x

kitty hi I did say we were ttc. Didn't mention the chem pregs though, she doesn't need to hear that.

It's difficult to know how much to divulge etc isnt it, you don't want to bring anyone down or make them worry, I found the same with my friend telling everyone she was pg at 6 wks, I could tell mc just doesn't enter her head and I wanted to protect her/ warn her mine was after 7 but at the same time just because it didn't work for me doesn't mean the same will be for her so I didn't say anything, just told her I wouldn't tell work etc just yet. The rest is up to her

Hello ladies..not been on for a week or so as on holiday abroad at mo, af due 4th aug, felt in strange mood yesterday couldn't put my finger on it, then decided to poas on one of the 3 sticks I brought with me, 5 days before af due, nothing came up straightaway but after a couple of mins got a faint bfp! But now doing myself no favours as googling evap lines and such things....am going to test again tomorrow morning with fmu

ah woody I understand this wtf cycle post mc. I think, just think, that I ov'd last Friday due to cramps, cm, etc, but I know theres no way to really know, and DH and I have been DTD EOD for 2 weeks now and I don't know how much longer we can keep at it haha, hopefully we'll go for one more week then we'll give ourselves a rest. fx for us all!

Am putting phone back in hotel room safe now to stop googling but will poas tomorrow and keep you updated! Fx

CD9 here and my monitor gave me a high so that means I'm gearing up to OV. So shagfest commences tonight!

Feel really low. Aware that time is running out due to my age so every cycle matters.

Due to ovulate yesterday. DTD lots in the run up and planning to the next few days - but just got my period - 14 days early!

Been to see GP. Sympathetic and has organised bloods and a scan but I'm now really down in the dumps and crawling towards COD.

miaro you have tested really early so a faint line is fanatistic news, fx for you.

Not too sure what my body is up to am on cd 16 (have been a bit rubbish and only dtd once on cd 14). No positive opk yet, thought I had a bit of ewcm on Sunday but it has gone now. Am worried I might have missed ov now as the Internet cheapies are not the best.

Cousin is going to be sending me her old opks (fx they are posh clearblue ones).

Oh Pooley - we're close in age, I know how you feel. It's just s**t. Hope GP has some sage advice. It's turning me into not-a-nice person now. DH has long-standing knee problem and had his last op in Dec 10. It's playing up again and all I can offer by way of sympathy is to tell him that OV is soon so he'd better get over the pain and get on with it!

Sorry to everyone having a rough time. Hopefully docs can put you on something that encourages a normal cycle :(
