For those of us out of the July game there are not many places to hide so I thought I'd start a new August thread to give us all some positive vibes!

I hate this WTF cycle. I splashed out on a cb digital test and it seems to have gone back up. My boobs are really sore, I really really nauseous again and I've had a bit of brown discharge today.

Think I'm just going to stop analysing everything and accept that I'm not going to be pg again for a while. It's not going to happen straight away like i was hoping.

What do you mean, "it's gone up again"?

The number of weeks it says I am pg has gone up.

Darn it. 27day cycle. Oh well. Feel okay about it no COD here this month Im off the top of the list and back in it for BFP on 27th August.

Woody the hormone can't go up again without a current pregnancy?
It can only go down and if it doesn't go completely you will need to see a doctor as this would mean retained products ( abit they've missed ) or a current new pregnancy?

Erm dude - if it's still saying you're pregnant, I reckon you're pregnant!

Remember the digi's are potentially slightly less sensitive as well.

Why do you not believe it?

I would go get a blood test to confirm it, if you think not.

A lot of ladies spot in early pregnancy. Go get it confirmed.

When was mc? I was told you should have a negative 2 weeks later x

Yeh as kitty says - the hormone won't just "go up" if you're not pregnant. You need an implanted embryo for the HCG hormone to increase.

Woody get yourself to the doctors you. The hormones shouldn't be going up again. This good be a good thing. Fx

It's been about 2 weeks since mc but not been quite 2 weeks since we started dtd - so I just don't think the dates add up if that makes sense. It's probably my own fault as I don't always test at the same time of day. I think I'll go and see GP as I'd like them to monitor my HGC levels (if they will).

How do you know it was an MC?

I would go to the doctors. They can pick up HCG and whether it will be sticky or not.

I had several internal scans. Had bleeding etc and then final scan showed that everything had gone. Kick you come across as being sensible/knowledgeable - my dates don't add up to me being pg again, do they?

I think there's too much uncertainty now for us to know and you could a) wait say 3/4 days and try again or b) go to the doctors abd ask for advice
I wouldnt like to say its new and get your hopes up, it did take my test 2 weeks before it went to neg and I have heard that the indicator part on the digi isn't that reliable at all.... That said it going up is very strange when was the last time you did one, if it was say last night then this morning that might account for discrepancy but say a week would be strange for it to go up
I did wait till I got a neg test before dtd for this reason but I guess there is a possibility you ovd very early

The only thing I can think of is that they cocked up and missed something?

I have no idea what to tell you. Unless you literally fell pregnant a day or two after MC?? Then the dates would add up.

Woody I have found the dates thing on the CB digis very unreliable. Last pregnancy, I did 2 within 10 minutes and they gave me different weeks. As I mentioned on the other thread, it sounds as if you're just on the tail end of getting rid of all the hormones from mc, and if you just wait a few more days or a week I'm sure it will go negative. But if you are concerned definitely contact GP.

Thanks everyone for the advice. I'm going to leave it a few days and test again and if it is still positive then I'll go to GP. I think that it is most likely to still be hormones from previous pg but I'm making/wishing it into more. It helps having somewhere like this.

I think that is most likely. I think part of my way of trying to deal with mc was to focus on getting pg again asap.

But then a whole host of other shit cropped up and we're back there again.

But try let your body heal. I don't mean don't TTC, but give it some supplements and be kind. Stress is just as rubbish

woody I would definitely push for a HCG blood test. Unless you get one done it is impossible to see if it is going up or down. At the moment you must feel like you're in limbo, horrible.

I have convinced myself that most likely AF is on her way. I've had a shit day at work and necked a glass of Chardonnay and enjoyed every drop- more than one friend has told me that they completely went off booze as soon as they were upduffed...

Dexidoo - I went off booze for nearly 3 months

If it's any consolation, it's mainly because I suddenly contracted Type 1 Diabetes and nearly died so there isn't really any "symptom" that is unique to pregnancy.

Don't listen to those things. Your body will react in whatever way it chooses to react and you can't compare to anyone else.

Yeh we're TTC again. Not sure if I should be but fairly certain I am ok :)
