NatalieJane · 27/03/2006 15:50

I don't know how to link but if you look down the thread (probably not too long after it was started) you will find a link to a chat thread. :)

K1K2 · 27/03/2006 16:54

Hi Trace2,Peachy,Gemmasc,Natalie, Spinach,Jenswish Wannabe and many more of you, I hope I bring more good luck to the March TTC'rs, than what's happened already. Posted on another March thread with way TMI which has come to halt after my post and I wonder why?!!- sorry, new to this game.... But I have been following your threads and some of the chat ones for some weeks now and I am starting to feel like a stalker that hasn't made themselves known (well I have, actually). So feeling like a late arrival to a party and a gatecrasher to boot, hope my end of the month postings bring more good news to others ( Perhaps I should go on the April thread?). Threads have made me LOL, and cry as well.... Natalie Big Congrats - you must be still on a big high from last week.... Wannabe, how long have you been ttc and how old are you if I may ask?? Surely its not too late?? Jenswish you 've made me cry with yr 23.03 post...Trace2 - just want to say so sorry for what you are going through, I saw your post on a chat thread about the sterilization appt, (thankfully , non appointment now you didn't go through with it-I hope I wasn't too upfront with that-sorry) Don't give hope just yet. Did you see a post on ttc for women in their 40's, so many great and postive stories of pgs in their 40's - look at Madonna,Cheri Blaire etc. I 've spent many hours this month looking at MN and these particular posts, (and I can only afford to do it now coz I've bunked off work today) and it's helped a lot... ( Sorry I've done it again with the long posts.. Wish you LoL and (¸.·´ .·´
¸.·´¨) .´¯*·´¯· to all the brave and chipper women out there...

Jenswish · 27/03/2006 17:00

peachygirl · 27/03/2006 17:06

K1K2 I lurked for quite a while before I posted. Don't worry about it, I just worry about how we can all look each other in the eye if we ever meet up!
Nothing to report for me still in AF. A bit more filming today and I think I will definatly be on the programme for in, on and under the kids are in PE - at least I'm in the the waving hello and goodbye bits!

wannaBe1974 · 27/03/2006 21:44

hiya all

k1 welcome :). I think a lot of people lurk for a while before posting, especially if there are a lot of people who have been chatting for a while I think that people wonder if it's ok to join in, it is of course as we're generallly a nice and welcoming bunch.

How long have you been ttc and what are your stats?

I'm 32, have been ttc for baby no 2 for 10 months now, have DS who is 3.4, took 13 months to conceive him, have kinda resigned myself to the fact it's probably not going to happen, not going back on contraception but kinda don't think it'll ever happen for me again.

Trace I was wondering about pussycat as well, I sent her an email today so hopefully she'll reply or come online, her sister is due to test on Wednesday I think so hope things are going well for her as well.

How you feling trace? better i hope?

Peachy we'll have to keep an eye out for you on something special :O.

im sorry if this post doesnt respond to anything which has been happening recently i havent been on at all. I dont really want to trawl through and catch up, not in the mood if you know what i mean. I just wanted to share something that i have just found, it kind of made alot of sense....here it is.....
DO YOU CARRY YOUR UMBRELLA?

We all have something to learn from this young girl.

As a drought continued for what seemed an eternity, a small community of

farmers was in a quandary as to what to do. Rain was important to keep
their crops healthy and sustain the townspeople's way of life.

As the problem became more acute, a local pastor called a prayer meeting
to ask for rain.

Many people arrived. The pastor greeted most of them as they filed in.
As he walked to the front of the church to officially begin the meeting
he noticed most people were chatting across the aisles and socializing
with friends. When he reached the front his thoughts were on quieting
the attendees and starting the meeting.

His eyes scanned the crowd as he asked for quiet. He noticed an eleven
year-old girl sitting quietly in the front row. Her face was beaming
with excitement. Next to her, poised and ready for use, was a bright red
umbrella. The little girl's beauty and innocence made the pastor smile
as he realized how much faith she possessed. No one else in the
congregation had brought an umbrella.

All came to pray for rain, but the little girl had come expecting God to
answer

just thought it was kind of inspiring, for all us chicks still trying hard....
For the record, my sister recieved her ivf results today, BFN Sad
It was her 3rd try , as you can imagine we all feel more than a little sad at this time.
im trying so hard to be positive for her.......
i am trying to keep in mind another little quote i found earlier too, something we should maybe all keep in mind....

Never cry for the lack of the sun...
Your tears won't allow you enjoy the wonders of the stars."

((((((((((((((hugs to all)))))))) esp trace, peachy and wannabe, lots of love, Pusscat x xx

beartime · 28/03/2006 20:26

NatalieJane · 29/03/2006 09:26

Sorry PCM {{{hugs}}}, as Peachy says don't let it determine what happens in your life though, you deserve a child as much as your sister does.
