NatalieJane · 22/03/2006 15:17

Same here, 6 months with DS.

skerriesmum · 22/03/2006 15:39

Hi all, had ov pains yesterday and we bd'd so here's hoping! (Who else would I share these details with...) It's so hard not to get excited already. Might bd again today...
When I conceived ds we bd'd everyday for a week! So that's what we're doing this week!
Good luck everyone, as always.

NatalieJane · 22/03/2006 15:49

Look forward to hearing the good news in a couple of weeks time then Skerriesmum!!! Wink

skerriesmum · 22/03/2006 15:52

That's sweet Nat, thanks. I think we're on the same month ttc so here's hoping for you too!

skerriesmum · 22/03/2006 15:53

Just read that you're on cd33 so hey, this could be it for you too!

NatalieJane · 22/03/2006 16:03

No I am not holding out any hope this month, just waiting for AF to arrive so I can get on with the next cycle. The waiting is getting really boring though!

gemmaseascout · 23/03/2006 13:55

hi
been to the doctors and he was very helpful. Sent me for loads of hormone tests and a pregnancy test. I know 5 months isnt very long after depo. But reguardless of ttc I just want my body working again!

NatalieJane · 23/03/2006 14:00

I hope you are feeling like something is being done at last Gemma, it must be very frustrating for you. Good luck :)

gemmaseascout · 23/03/2006 14:07

thanx
I feel on top of the world.
I know its only 5 months but my sister is pg and now my dh brother has got his milf pg! Gotta keep up!!!! LOL Grin

NatalieJane · 23/03/2006 14:16

So you should be as well :)

When will you know any results or anything? You will have to keep us all updated :)

gemmaseascout · 23/03/2006 14:21

did the blood tests today, only went to docs at 11am and had the tests done at 11:20 (the beauty of being next door to a health centre)
Gotta do a urine test, morning wee (tmi), tomorrow. Doctor said he will call nxt week when the results are in. Fingers crossed Wink

Anyway whats happening with you??

NatalieJane · 23/03/2006 14:37

Sorry chat thread got a bit deep!!

It is great that you won't have to wait long for the results as well!! I was expecting you to say 2 or 3 weeks!!

I am on CD34, last cycle was only 25 days long, still no AF, DH has bought a test that he want's me to do tomorrow, but I don't think I want to, then feel bad for making him wait!! LOL TTC is such a pain in the arse!!

gemmaseascout · 23/03/2006 14:45

do you think you might be pg? Or is that dh wishfull thinking!

Jenswish · 23/03/2006 14:49

Gemma - Glad to hear all is getting sorted and quickly too! :)

NatalieJane · 23/03/2006 14:49

Good question... I have done a load of tests all BFN's, haven't done one since about a week ago though, had just resigned myself to thinking that coming off the pill had messed my cycles up and so AF isn't actually late as such, then DH springs this new test on me and I am back to wondering if maybe there is still a chance I am PG, and then hating myself for letting me get all excited again!!

gemmaseascout · 23/03/2006 14:49

thanks Grin

gemmaseascout · 23/03/2006 14:57

men!! Wink
sometimes they think they are helping. Still one more pg test wont hurt too much!!! Smile
BFN are always hard, do you have any other symptoms? So have you had AF aince coming off the pill?

NatalieJane · 23/03/2006 15:05

I had a withdrawel bleed, then went 25 days had a normal AF, and have now gone 34 days with nothing. I did feel really sick up until a week or two ago but that has slowly subsided, but I have also been ill with flu, so that could be linked to it, I do have very sore boobs that are getter more sore every day, but that is an AF symptom, I have been falling asleep really early, not eating a lot, and when I do eat, food tastes funny, but both can be linked to my flu... I don't know, nothing that is a cartain PG symptom. I had done the usual talking myself into thinking I was PG, got to CD 24 and tested BFN, a few more test spread over a few days again all came up BFN, promised myself I wasn't going to test again and just sit back and wait for AF to arrive, which was great until DH just rang!! Sorry for the long post Blush

gemmaseascout · 23/03/2006 15:15

again men!!! Smile
af could be late due to the flu you had, might have knocked you off course. Give yourself a date, if no af or change in the way i am feeling by sunday then do the test. Remember you can have false negatives but not false positives!

NatalieJane · 23/03/2006 15:17

I can't really, I can't make DH carry on feeling how I felt last week, I will do the test, but I will make sure I do it before he leaves for work so I can have a hug when it comes back BFN!

gemmaseascout · 23/03/2006 15:21

he sounds like a sweety! Grin My dh was sooooo upset when he found out that his brother had got his milf pg. Think he wanted to give his parents their first granchild. We both know that his parents wont be a part of the childs life or the pregnancy, they havent even met the milf!!

NatalieJane · 23/03/2006 15:24

If it helps any, at least in our family, all of the grandchildren have been treated the same, if not better, than the first one!

jabberwocky · 23/03/2006 15:25

Hi all, I know I haven't been very active on this thread. Sometimes I find it easier to just put ttc out of my mind for most of the month, although I guess in all honesty it's never out of my mind Smile
Anyway, ov due in the next few days, I believe. Cycle still slightly out of whack because of all the steroids I was on in December so it has been a bit more difficult than when we were ttc ds. Such a shame, too. Before the medication I had perfect 28 day cycles Sad

NatalieJane · 23/03/2006 15:39

Fingers tightly crossed than Jabberwocky :)
