Right I'm going to be bold and start a new thread to drum up some energy for anyone ttc a Jan / Feb / Spring 2013 baby.

Does anyone want to join me on this flight?

babaloulou · 04/05/2012 10:58

Wait. Remember would you believe it if its a bfn?

Squirrel77 · 04/05/2012 11:03

Hmmm, good point. It might be good just to try and forget about the madness for the whole weekend!

It's hard to stop thinking about it though as my boobs are on F-I-R-E!! (anyone else have flaming nipples/boobs?)

Flightty · 04/05/2012 11:13

Thanks Blackcats, hope the B6 does wonders for you. I'll probably start taking it for morning sickness, someone suggested it.

Lime I'm already feeling quite sick which surprises me as like you, it was about half way through week 6 last time...hmm.

Your temp drop and rise sound really promising. I shall be so excited if you get a bfp Smile as we can be January buddies.

Not sure whether to keep charting now. It seems fairly pointless unless I want to scare myself with every drop in temperature...I still have these bags of HPTs and OPKs that go off by next year, so there's no point me keeping them. Finally getting a bague positive on the internet ones now so they 6do^ work, just not so early as the other sort!

If anyone would like them I'll post them to you for nothing, so just shout Smile

Flightty · 04/05/2012 11:14

Squirrel I am currently bra-free as mine are so painful. Tis a good sign Grin

Spotting sounds promising. Good luck!

Flightty · 04/05/2012 11:15

sorry for rubbish typing, am eating a samosa. Blush That should be vague, and do work...yikes...

Purpledragon · 04/05/2012 11:21

Hi all, sorry not sure if I posted here before (muddled head). Did post to flightty elsewhere and saw you here. Hi and congrats again. Wanted to warn against temping for too long. Your temps will start going all over the place now even when all is well. It's easy to cause extra worry so think about stopping once you are officially late?

Purpledragon · 04/05/2012 11:26

Squirrel me too on the nipples. Swore off symptom spotting a couple of months back, but I have never had something to spot in the boob area (not even imagined, don't get it pre period either). 'On fire' yes the only way to describe.

Flightty · 04/05/2012 12:10

Here you go chum Wine

thanks about the temps...I sort of feel obligated as all the ones on FF seem to go on and on after the BFP.

but sticking that rather grubby thermometer in places I'd rather not mention is getting very annoying. I'm grateful I only had to do it for 2 and a half months. (it's not really grubby, but I think it should not be up there if it doesn't have to be, not now anyway)

So i'll relinquish that delight with pleasure Smile

Purpledragon · 04/05/2012 12:20

Cheers. Yeh you really should flightty, some people get really attached to temping in some weird way. You don't sound like one of them. It can't tell you anything now, worse actually - you just end up reading something into nothing.

I'm (temporarily) dumping my thermometer, as I'm traveling for 10 days. I'm 6dpo on according to FF anyway, just going to try and put the whole thing out of my head till next week. Unfortunately the burning nipples are more tricky to leave behind.

babaloulou · 04/05/2012 12:27

My goodness flighty where were you putting it? I just thought you popped it in your month!!!

Purpledragon · 04/05/2012 12:29

Not flightty she is special.

EmpireBiscuit · 04/05/2012 15:20

My boobs are tender (not on fire) but I think that is due to a mix of wishful thinking and the fact that I keep poking at them.

I should stop now, weirdo man opposite at work is all Hmm at me.

Flightty · 04/05/2012 16:01

Empire Grin He is very happy, you need to keep it up, poor bloke will be gutted if you stop now.

Purple I hope you have a good time wherever you are off to. With your nipples. Ouch.

Baba, don't worry, nowhere terrible...you do get more accurate temps if you do it netherwise though. Apparently. mine were still all over the shop

I think my thermometer is going in the bin now! Farewell, unfaithful servant.

LimeLeafLizard · 04/05/2012 16:13

ha ha, Empire, good job the pervert colleague opposite you doesn't know all the other sorts of symptom spotting we get up to!!

Not sure where you're temping, Flightty but I think I'll stick to temping orally! Meanwhile I agree that post-BFP it is better to stop. Last time my MW said I had a very low temp for pregnancy, and had I known about temping then, it would have worried me unnecessarily.

Squirrel if you don't take any tests away with you, and wait until Tues, then I will be your POAS buddy then.

OP posts:
SilentMammoth · 04/05/2012 19:09

Flightty massive massive congrats, I forgot to say that this am! So pleased for you Grin I will second what everyone else says about temping after bfp; the only thing it will do is stress you out!

Lime, wow, sounds like major implantation dip, oooh, how exciting! How many more days til POAS day? is it Tues, I forget? Did you dip with your last pg? I came to temping late with DD4 so can only compare one pregnancy chart.

Mmmm, now is this the month I splash out on a FF upgrade?

Wiggy29 · 04/05/2012 19:24

Can I ask opinion on of you guys? Been very nauseous for past couple of weeks, am only one cycle 2 after coming off pill& first cycle was 31 days so not due until NEXT sat. This weekend is hen party of one of best friend's, is it worth poas? Had decided I defo wasn't unless I was late this month but sickness feels just like early morning sickness with ds.that said, no other symptoms at all and af probs not due till next sat.thoughts please?x

SilentMammoth · 04/05/2012 19:29

POAS!

SilentMammoth · 04/05/2012 19:29

Have you got one in the house?

Wiggy29 · 04/05/2012 19:30

Yup, a load of cheapies that partner of my bro gave me after she fell pregnant a few months back. Is there any chance it would even show yet?x

SilentMammoth · 04/05/2012 19:36

Go pee and find out!!!

SilentMammoth · 04/05/2012 19:37

Then come back and report!

Wiggy29 · 04/05/2012 19:43

Negative. Not sure if it's a true negative or if I'd tested too wary. Still a bit unsure as sickness is at odd times of day& in short waves so we'll see.I'm not testing now though unless I'm late (i.e. not here by next Monday) and will be assuming I'm not& having a few drinks tomorrow night.

Wiggy29 · 04/05/2012 19:43

Early not wary!

SilentMammoth · 04/05/2012 19:43

Oh. Sad

Are you OK?

babaloulou · 04/05/2012 19:45

Ok might be tempting fate here but my spotting which was really a wipe (tmi) has not turned into af. So still in with a chance i suppose Smile

Just watch me come back tomorrow morning confirming she's arrived Sad
