Right I'm going to be bold and start a new thread to drum up some energy for anyone ttc a Jan / Feb / Spring 2013 baby.

Does anyone want to join me on this flight?

Note to self (and reminder for all): NEVER go running without a sports bra when it feels like your boobs are going to explode off your chest!

LimeLeafLizard · 17/05/2012 19:02

Treats sorry to hear about your temp drop... FX it is just a glitch, or at least that AF holds off until Sat.

Empire not sure how large you are normally but finding Bravissimo has made a real difference to my quality of life. www.bravissimo.com/
They do a few maternity bras, shame the range isn't bigger.

EmpireBiscuit · 17/05/2012 19:20

Thanks LLL I generally am on the larger size but tonight's comparison to dolly Parton by my "d"h is a bit concerning.

Friday tomorrow ladies! Hurrah.

Pipbin · 17/05/2012 20:24

Well I'm now officially 3dpo today.
In to the two week wait now I guess.

Crazytictac · 17/05/2012 20:27

Thanks for the moose rations ladies (wtf, that's supposed to say commiserations...flaming autocorrect)

All this talk of bigger boobs is making me jealous! Mine didn't even get noticeably bigger when pregnant or breastfeeding. And I need the help! Pah!

blackcats I really hope you don't join my non up duffed status. Fingers crossed for you, and you too treats

A lot of you ladies seem quite sporty, how often do you run / go to the gym etc? I need some motivation, I go in phases of being quite good to rubbish like now

SilentMammoth · 17/05/2012 20:48

Pipbon think I'm joining you as head temp rise this am so think am 1 dpo, though of course a bit early to tell. Cycle buddies again?

Treats sorry about temp drop

Black cats I'm also hugely recommending purchasing tcoyf, you won't regret it I promise.great reference (even some of the pictures turn my cast iron tummy every so slightly!!)

SilentMammoth · 17/05/2012 20:49

Loving moose rations!!!!

Pipbin · 17/05/2012 23:29

Mammoth I think we might be cycle buddies again indeed. I ov'd about 5 days earlier than expected this month.

Crazy I run Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays. I get up at 6 and go straight out. That way I've done it before I realise it's happened. I used an app called get running which is on the iphone. I'm now running for 30 minutes at a time.

blackcatsdancing · 18/05/2012 08:18

apparently main library should have a copy of tcoyf so i'll have a look today. I'm on a course all day- something i signed up for about mental health run by MIND, hope its interesting and proves useful. Looks like i may have to reapply for my own job in the summer due to service cuts, waiting for final document to come out in a week or so but we had a draft timetable yesterday where they mentioned interviews for my pool of jobs for the first time. Dreading it.

well i'm 12DPO and woke up to a very high temp but didn't make me feel better as that seems my pattern at start of a new cycle. I tested with a cheapie and got a negative so i'm expecting to come on today. Bugger.

blackcatsdancing · 18/05/2012 08:20

pipbin admire the 6am starts. I cannot exercise first thing i've tried and just don't have the energy. Luckily i'm across the road from a small park so can run there without much faff. I think i should start again and stop worrying about running in the 2WW.

Crazytictac · 18/05/2012 08:30

Blimey pipbin that is some dedication there! 6am?! 30 mins running each time is fab.

Mind you, I'm usually knackered by the evening so maybe first thing wouldn't make that much difference.

blackcats hope AF stays away today

lastboxoftampons · 18/05/2012 08:43

blackcats she does mention high temps past cd1 in the book. She says it's normal to have a few days of high temps due to residual progesterone. But hoping that's not the case for you! :)

Can I join the 2dpo crew? I think I ov'd on Wednesday. Adjusted a couple of temps for inconsistent waking times and the picture seems a bit clearer now. Unfortunately that means we only managed to DTD on cd12, cd14 and cd16, most likely ov'd on cd16. Just wish we would've gotten the 15th in there. Oh well, what's done is done.

Well done pipbin that's great about the running. I have a run in the park near our house, oh, once every other month or so Grin but before DS I exercised a bit. I always felt such a sense of accomplishment if I managed to run first thing. Like you had done something before you even got to work. Plus it leaves your evening free.

Treats I firmly believe we can't obsess over one temp...but, I'm going to ask anyway - what'd you get this morning? You can't be sure it means anything - whether af's arrival or implantation dip, but if you think AF is on it's way in two days, then a least you have your respectable LP back and you have your test results with your doctor to look forward to. Hopefully you'll get some answers :)

Hello everyone else! :)

Treats · 18/05/2012 10:27

lbot - 97.5 this morning - same as yesterday. So I don't know...... I've just compared with my last two cycles and the days before AF I had a big peak followed by a very steep drop. This time there's been a much earlier peak and temps either staying the same or dropping gradually.

Your DTD pattern sounds OK though. I always look back after ov and think that I should have tried to squeeze another one in Blush but you managed to do it on ov day so that's pretty good.

pipbin - I gave up on regular exercise a long time ago, but I remember how much I used to enjoy early morning running, especially at this time of year. Getting up that early isn't so bad if you're just falling into running gear and trainers and getting straight out there. I used to find it so much more useful to mentally prepare for the day ahead and then come back and get ready for work. If I left the run until after work, I would be too tired, get distracted, not feel like having another shower in the evening, and would find myself dwelling on things that had gone wrong during the day. So yay for early morning running. Hope it's working for you.

pmsl at 'moose rations' - wtaf?

Feeling a bit better today. Very run down at the moment - mostly thanks to lack of sleep - but not feeling as teary as yesterday.

Wiggy29 · 18/05/2012 10:29

Blackcats- sorry about your bfn.

I just started exercising& so far I love body pump, urban bounce& core stability classes.I need motivation of class to keep going otherwise I just give up as soon as I break a sweat! A size ten but just looking to tone up&have more energy.

I didn't need Maternity bras until later on but they kept up from a c to an e when breast feeding but now they are a rather shrivelled b cup although luckily dp thinks they are amazing so I guess I should be happy ( that said, he's virtually blind without glasses so I'm probs just a beige blur to him anyway)!

LimeLeafLizard · 18/05/2012 15:54

Does anyone know offhand how early in your cycle is it possible to ovulate? I am only on CD10 and have been having unusually lots of ewcm.

OP posts:
SpringFlowers · 18/05/2012 16:12

Oh no...I feel terrible! I am so exhausted, my eyes are dry and tired, I have no energy to move, I feel sick...urrrgggh. My pervious pregnancies were not like this at 4+6. I have had to come how from work to lie down because standing up was too much of an effort and my computer screen affected my eyes. This is a total disaster, I'm feeling really tetchy with everyone too. I reckon there are two possibilities: a) I am having a boy b) I am having twins. Both would cause issues; I would die of shock every time I opened a boy nappy having had three girls or alternately, I would die of tiredness with a family growing from three children to five! Grin

I am trying to keep up with your post but am not doing it very well, sorry. Whose next for a bfp?

LimeLeafLizard · 18/05/2012 17:25

blackcats sorry about your bfn.

Spring sorry you're feeling so crap. We spend so much time trying to get pregnant and then starts the marathon of actually being pregnant.

I have three boys and all my pgs were quite different. My MW said pgs are all different, but births (by the same woman) tend to happen in a similar way. So It might not mean you're having a boy, necessarily. Or twins (blimey that would be a lot to manage wouldn't it?!)

BTW boy nappies are fine - I once had to change my friend's daughter - then I realised that I had it easy!

Yes, come on everyone, we need some more bfps.

OP posts:
SpringFlowers · 18/05/2012 17:57

Thank you for the sympathy Lime. I am sad and sorry and feeling miserable. Perhaps I'll just get signed off work until I'm 16 weeks Grin. That should take care of it. Where are you at now?

Purpledragon · 18/05/2012 18:06

Hi, haven't been around for a bit. lime it's possible to ov earlier than CD10 in fact. CD 10 and 11 are normal for me (my cycle is short). Even if not normal for you, instigate shag week a little earlier this cycle?

lastboxoftampons · 18/05/2012 18:11

Oh Spring Sad I'm sorry you're not feeling well. but it must be a little teensy bit reassuring? I hope? Also can vouch for boy nappies here. A friend with a girl once told me about all of the folds and crevices...sorry, way tmi, but yes, I agree with LLL, boys are easier!

Speaking of boy nappies...yesterday DS told me his willy lays on his tentacles! Grin I was really taken aback, I had never talked to him about what's beneath the willy, but turns out his dad had! Grin

SCORE on the CBFM front - we were supposed to meet NCT friends in the park today, but it started to rain, so I invited them here instead. I had ebay up on the computer and mentioned I was bidding on one, and friend with 2 little boys said "I have one, you can have mine" Woo hoo! Just saved me a ton Grin Now I just have to track her down with it in the next week so I have it in time for CD1.

FF is now saying I'm 3dpo. I had only had 5 previous temps because I was jet lagged, hadn't temped in NY, etc, but put in fake temp from earlier in cycle and hash lines came up right away...HmmConfused

Happy Friday everyone! Any fun plans? Wine

Wiggy29 · 18/05/2012 19:59

Last box- great news about cbfm! Just started with mine yesterday. I'm doing something very exciting to me which is... nothing! I intend to eat some frozen yogurt and watch 'The Wire'- lovely!

Spring- sorry you're feeling poorly and hope it passes soon.

Pipbin · 18/05/2012 20:15

Treats I love my morning run, I guess I get it from my mother who, at the age of 60, runs 7 miles 3 days a week. I'm not super fit and actually over weight! Still, hopefully the running should do it.

FF says I need to test next Sunday. That is forever away!

LimeLeafLizard · 18/05/2012 21:34

Hello again Purple, thanks for answering my question! You must have a short cycle then - mine is usually ov day 14 + 13 day LP = 27 days.

That was typical until I started TTC when the LP seems to have gone up to 15 days, but then last month I ov'ed a day early too. Confused
Anyway in summary yes I will instigate shag week tonight. DH got back from his travels yesterday but he was exhausted and sad (he had been to a funeral) so it wasn't the right time to DTD. Tonight looks better.

Better still, we also have a less busy weekend ahead (hopefully with more opportunities to dtd). We need a quiet one, it has been manic lately.

LOL lastbox @ tentacles! And how lucky to get the CBFM for free! Hope you don't need to use it, though.

Pipbin tell your Mum I am super impressed and wish I could run 7 miles without needing to lie down for the rest of the day.

Crazytictac · 18/05/2012 22:13

Howdie folks

limeleaf re. How early can you ovulate: very! I know of somebody who was still spotting from coming to the end of their period and conceived. Hope you have a fruitful weekend!

lbot what luck on the CBFM front! :o. We've got an unusual weekend in that we have no plans...woohoo! I love seeing friends and family etc but sometimes it's nice just to potter and do diddly squat. Might go out to the garden centre for tea and cake. Rock n roll I know.

spring yeesh sounds hard going. It will all be worth it in the end but not much on consolation for you now. Hope you feel better soon

LimeLeafLizard · 18/05/2012 22:21

It isn't just you, Crazy! Last Saturday we were driving through Dad's village and saw a large sign. We turned to each other and both excitedly said, '' ooo, look there is a plant sale and coffee morning at the church!'

...and then laughed at ourselves for becoming such old gimmers that this is now our idea of a fun day!

DS1 just groaned 'nooooo'. We didn't go. It would have been a step too far!
