Asseyez-vous mes amies and ready yourselves for the BESH Eurovision contest ever. Get ready with your Central European fashion, transvestites and inability to sing anything in tune. Get ready to rip your skirts off and leave your other halves no option but to make their mind up (do you see what I did there?) to get down to some swi and do your best not to think of Terry Wogan at any point in the proceedings. Finally, get ready to yell ?nul points? at the evil Droid should it dare to make an appearance.

Newbies, approach in high euro-camp mode, find and complete the BESHtionnaire to let us judge whether you are cynical and menkul enough to join us.

I'm here to hold your hand Faif. Can I divert you with some delicious Cumberbatch action?

HaveALittleFaithBaby · 27/04/2012 11:44

He does look rather tasty in that piccy! Let's add my fave celeb into the mix too!
Part of the problem is I rather need a week but they'll want a sample won't they? So I'm trying not to think about it.
Random aside, the curtains in this waiting must be about 40 years old. Beige with a brown flower pattern. Absolutely hideous. Ironic thing is it has blinds and I bet the curtains never actually get used!

eurochick · 27/04/2012 11:48

They do sound vile, Faith. Pls to describe rest of decor as a distraction?

Norfy what else is there but to plough on? That will be on to cycle 19 of "proper efforts", cycle 6 of steroid treatment and attempt #2 at IUI. I'm just feeling somewhat disspirited at the moment. And the thought of IVF still freaks me out, but that is where we will be in a month's time.

OP posts:
Northey · 27/04/2012 11:58

Do they make any tweaks to the next iui attempt based on this one? Or is it just simply another go of the same thing?

CaveMum · 27/04/2012 11:59

Ah yes, "Huge Ackman" Grin

I raise you my ideal night in Wink

I agree with euro, a running commentary of decor, other patients, nurses etc is required Grin

HaveALittleFaithBaby · 27/04/2012 12:04

Blimey I'm done already! The flooring was vinyl designed to look like laminate flooring, stylish and practical Hmm
Just waiting to talk to MSB then I'll tell all (not a lot to tell)!

eurochick · 27/04/2012 12:09

Norfy I don't think so. I will call them Droid actually arrives. I could move to medicated IUI I suppose, but that might just be logistically difficult in terms of physically getting to see them before I need to start the drugs (as you usually need to start around day 2 and I will be calling them on day 1). I think I'd prefer to stick with unmedicated anyway, so I at least have another month of feeling vaguely human pre-IVF.

OP posts:
HaveALittleFaithBaby · 27/04/2012 12:45

Grin cavey!
euro I think it's fair enough to try another unmedicated cycle since you've appeared to ov normally from tests. Fair enough if you want to give the iui another shot.
Right, so the appointment. Went in quite quickly. Saw the consultant Shock who was a bit confused about why it has been so long since my last appt, I was like Confused I just waited to hear! Anyway he's happy with my bloods, HSG, fanjo cam results. He didn't know about MSB's more recent history and was a bit like 'Ahh that explains things'. So MSB gets to jiap again, he's already rung and got an appointment for July. Think he wants to go even if I'm diffed by then to get a good result! And that's it. Relieved they didn't weigh me I wore leggings just in case tad disappointed they didn't ask about my cycles or dip my wee. Guess I'll have to do it myself!

sinkingflameofhilarity · 27/04/2012 13:48

Excellent outcome then faife. All good, just need MSB's boys to behave...

Sorry about the rubbishly non-unexpected pee result euro. My apt in 2 weeks is going to be them telling me I need ivf, I reckon. I'm terrified. And medical friend, who never told me she'd got diffed because "after trying for 9 months I know how hard it must be" Hmm, told me on a hen doo "just fucking do it. What's the problem?". Double Hmm

I'm glad it's just me who hates this whole bloody thing, esp the shitty hormones.

sinkingflameofhilarity · 27/04/2012 13:50

Not just me. Doh.

On phone. Today I have fat fingers.

HaveALittleFaithBaby · 27/04/2012 14:21

Did you give her a Hmm flamey?
Well I've just had to tell my friend I can't go to her wedding on Friday, I can't guarantee I'll be well enough and it'd look bad to be there while off sick. I am totally fed up :( Angry

Northey · 27/04/2012 15:45

Idiot friend, sinky.

Buzzwams still sore here, but I am eating manically, which is usually a sign of imminent droid :(

Northey · 27/04/2012 16:33

Four more Crunchies down the hatch...

HaveALittleFaithBaby · 27/04/2012 17:11

Well I'm clearly not right, I just ate some fruit! One of those pre-prepared packs. And I enjoyed it! Shock norfus what cd are you?

Northey · 27/04/2012 17:18
  1. (last cycles 44, 74 and 33 in reverse order). Am contemplating joining you for a Sunday POAS.
Northey · 27/04/2012 17:19

Mmmm, chocolate eclairs.

HaveALittleFaithBaby · 27/04/2012 17:29

Well it's encouraging that you're getting end of cycle signs now eh? Yes do join in the POAS club! I think MSB was really disappointed that they didn't test me today actually! Impatient much?!
They are fake eclairs been to Aldi but they aren't half bad.
I'm watching Don't tell the bride again and while I know they only pick the control freak brides, I still can't get my head around the idea of why you'd do it if you had a really specific idea of what you wanted?! I luff MSB but there's no way he could have planned our wedding on his own!

Northey · 27/04/2012 18:14

Oh God no. AMNH would have dancing and loud bangy music all night, and a massive cheeseboard instead of any food. But would forget about anywhere for people to sit. Or wee.

FriendofDorothy · 27/04/2012 19:33

God this childcare thing is a piece of piss. My sister and wanker-in-law have buggered off to a posh dinner where she is giving me a speech. As she walked out of the door she made a comment that Eden has been a pain in the arse when going to bed... oh I don't think so. She went to sleep within 15 minutes of me going upstairs with her. I feel bloody smug (especially as my sister says she has been really clingy and won't go to anyone else lately). Hah!

HaveALittleFaithBaby · 27/04/2012 20:15

You'd probably get a Chelski theme norf. I'd get married in Old Trafford Hmm

HaveALittleFaithBaby · 27/04/2012 20:17

Nice work dor, we're doing the babysitting thing too with my nephew. He was pushing his limits but calmed down when I suggested the naughty step Wink and got him down in about 30 minutes. Bless him.

bugs, that's crap. Does she often make you feel like that? Mothers are just in a unique position for being able to get to you in a way noone else can, because of their closeness to you. I always take criticism from my mother far more personally than from anyone else. Anyway, I am a cold house lover too, and bet your house is gorgeously fresh, so an enormous raspberry to her.
